Best place I have ever stayed in ! Everything that was listed on the website was accurate. The cabin was spotless and had so many extras that made it so convenient for us! I can't wait to visit again with the kids! Only a 5 minute ride to Indian Creek Campground where we were able to do some fishing! Next time it will be for the kids to go swimming! The owners AND people in the area were so helpful and so polite. LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE AND AREA! Thank you so much! StacyDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was such an adorable cabin that exceeded all of my expectations. We had so much fun hanging out there for our stay. Everything was so well appointed and well stocked that I had actually packed way too much. The setting surrounding the cabin was absolutely tranquil, and the kids loved exploring the woods behind the cabin. Its proximity to the Indian Creek boat dock and beach area was great as well. Everything down to the gas grill, nice front porch, swing and fire pit was all top notch, Another surprise was all of the board games that were there. We all lead such busy lives that we had forgotten how much fun those were and actually had a blast playing several of these games as a group. Before we even left, everyone was already begging me to come back when the weather was warm enough for swimming. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to several friends and family. Thanks again for a great stay!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Wow,what a get away! My wife and I had a need to escape the home front to recuperate from the holiday bustle. I went online and searched the area for something fairly close to us, yet secluded and comfortable enough to relax and unwind away from our stressed pace. I found this great little cabin just outside of Alexandria , Louisiana at the Indian Creek area of Woodworth Louisiana. We made the reservation and packed our bags.We were pleasantly pleased with the ease of the arrangements and the accommodations we found upon arrival. The cabin is well provisioned with complete accessories in the kitchen bathroom and bedrooms. Satellite Television , DVD player, Washer and Dryer, and a wide selection of games to pass away the hours. On the front porch is a wonderful gas grill , and a fire pit in the front yard by the swing. We truly enjoyed our stay and we will be back, you wont be sorry you made this trip!!! Thanks for everything , Ernest & MicheleDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

Stayed at the cabin with a buddy for a club fishing tournament on nearby Indian Creek Lake. The cabin was perfect and everything seemed brand new. The cabin was well stocked with anything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Indian Creek Lake is a beautiful lake with good fishing. There is a nice campground and boat launch about a mile from the cabin. I don't have a camper and am not as interested in sleeping in a tent as I used to be. For me this cabin is a perfect place to stay and spend time on the lake. I plan to return with my wife and daughter later in the spring.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This cabin was perfect for our stay. It was just two of us, so there was more than enough space. The cabin was very clean and well-maintained. The kitchen has everything you would need. Also, the owners are very responsive to past reviews. For instance, there are now reading lights in every room and nightstands in the bedrooms (two issues from past renters). My only suggestion would be to have a detailed map of the area, we got lost a few times trying to find small Parish roads, though that's always part of the fun, I guess (and we don't have GPS). Definitely a great place and would recommend it. Thanks.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Everything about the cabin met our needs in terms of comfort and convenience; a well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom, great beds, a covered porch to view the ever changing weather from and plenty of board games. We loved the quiet, remote, woodsy feeling combined with the security of the location and proximity to services and recreational opportunities. The owners were very accommodating and available to answer questions before and during our stay. We traveled from California and didn't know the area....I feel fortunate to have discovered this wonderful little cabin and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and family in the future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It is as advertised, spotless, brand new and the owners are very nice people. We would recommend it. The following comments are not meant to discourage you, but to let you know about a few things you should be prepared for. While it is two bedrooms it is small (as noted on the website) and if you are going to rent with two couples for any length of time, you'd best be really good friends. I would work with two children who can share a trundle bed and is ideal for one couple. There are no closets or dressers. There are two suitcase stands and some hooks. There are no reading lights, so if you want to read (including in bed) a headlamp would be helpful. There is adequate room lighting, but in the ceiling and we found it a bit dim for reading. There is no information regarding local attractions, so do your homework in advance. The Kent House in Alexandria is a hidden gem. There are no wine glasses and the tables consist of a small folding table with four folding metal chairs and four TV tables. The couch and love seat are leather and comfortable. Again, we didn't have a problem, but be prepared.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.
