  Great house, great owners! My wife and I visited with our 4 children and had a fantastic time. The house was exactly as shown in the listing ... beautiful inside and outside. The layout was ideal for our family with the 4 bedrooms and centrally located kitchen, dining, living areas. It was impeccably clean, too. Steven and Rhonda are great people who went way out of their way to ensure our stay was nice. My family is already talking about going back next year. This gets our highest possible rating, and we would highly recommend it to anyone!

  What a wonderful "Peace of Paradise." This house was absolutely perfect for our family of four. Everything we needed was there for us: fully stocked kitchen, very attractive interior, full laundry, beach toys, ping pong table, wifi, hot tub, tv's in every room (great for the kids). I could go on and on. The owners really have thought of everything. The bedrooms worked out great for us with a 7 year old who wanted to watch tv as he fell asleep and a 10 month who needed to be a little further away from his loud big brother. The elevator is great for loading/unloading and gives the kids a little fun as well. The location is perfect for kids as it sits on a quiet little street just 2 blocks from the beach, yet far enough off the "main drag" to stay out of the busy traffic. The downstairs bathroom is wonderful for getting out of your sandy, salty beach wear without dragging it into the house. The owners really go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. They live right around the corner and are very responsive via email or telephone. They even left us welcome gifts. We will definitely be booking this house for our beach vacation next year and probably a little winter getaway as well. We can't wait to return!

  The owners have thought of sooooo many warm touches and conveniences! Even quick notes that explain electronics and procedure were very helpful. The interior decorations were very attractive and every thing so comfortable and clean! The color coordinated towels in each bathroom made it soo easy to know what went where after washings (or who left their towel in the wrong place). Dishpans for washing feet at each door. Boogie boards, hammock, lawn and beach chairs, buckets, umbrellas wheeled carts for carrying things to the beach and even a wagon to transport children to the beach! The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with appliances, cooking and eating utensils, pots, pans, mixing bowls, colanders, baking pans….lots of variety! Even plastic for leftovers! The owners really want their guests to enjoy their stay, so they have made every part of the house comfortable, inviting and so convenient! We had a wonderful time in Isle of Palms and the Charleston area!!

  This house was a perfect match for 2 families each with a small child. The open living room allowed them to run and play. The house could not have been designed to be better suited for us. This house was everything we could have hoped for. The house was clean and prepared for us. The house itself was very pleasant to stay in, the layout was perfect for us. The owners left Easter baskets for our small children and a little "welcome" food, which was totally unexpected, but deeply appreciated. The owners made you feel so welcome, and were very eager to know if the house met our expectations. If you're looking for a party house, this is not it. This is a house in a quiet area perfect for families. The amenities were outstanding. There was plenty of equipment and games for the yard and beach left for us to use (the wagon to tote our children to the beach with was priceless). The owners went above and beyond what you would expect a renter to do. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area. Downtown Charleston was only about 15 minutes from the house, 2 blocks from the beach, and most major Charleston area attractions within 15-30 minutes of driving time. Perfect! One of our favorite restaurants nearby was Poe's Tavern on Sullivan's Island, only about 10 minutes away. Loved the house, and will definitely stay at this home again!

  This place was amazing! It offered a great location and wonderful atmosphere for our two families and our young boys. The short walk to the beach was perfect, and the location away from the main beach traffic made this house a peaceful place to enjoy a wonderful vacation. The house itself provided a perfect set up for two families, allowed for relaxation for all, and kept our sons occupied at all times. The surrounding Charleston area was an ideal vacation destination, and nothing was too far from this home. There are activities for all within a short drive; historical landmarks, children's activities, and great restaurants. There was never a dull moment on our vacation, and the location of this house made us feel that we were not rushed. I would suggest this house as a destination for anyone looking for a getaway that is close enough to the excitement, but far enough away to actually feel like you are truly on vacation. I must thank the homeowners for making us feel welcome, providing welcome gifts for the boys, and especially for having the wagon to lug the kids to the beach in. We had a great time and will definitely look to return again in the future.

  A great "home away from home!" It was very clean and well furnished with all the amenities that you could ask for. The owners were very helpful and accomodating. The location is great - peaceful, but with many activities available nearby. I would definitely recommend it!

  2011 is the second year that I have visited " A little 'Peace' of Paradise" with friends and it truly lives up to its name. If you are seeking a quiet, peaceful neighborood which provides all the amenities one could desire, this is the place for you! All you need to bring are personal items and food.The spacious living area and bedrooms are very tastefully decorated.Steven and Rhonda make sure that all your needs are met as you arrive and during your stay. The elevator is an "extra special" amenitiy for older folk and disabled who have trouble with stairs. Everything is accesible and I definitely recommend this home to anyone. Activities are not far away so any age can find something attractive

  Great hosts. Wonderful experience. Clean, neat, many, many extras. 4 minute jaunt to beach. Practically everything you need at your fingertips is provided. House and furnishings as pictured and then some. TV's in each bedroom & family room. Owners respond quickly in case of a problem and willing to do anything to make your stay more comfortable. Little extra flourishes that make you really feel at home. The hot tub is a "blast." Would return for another vacation.l Enjoyed every minute. Great places to eat nearby (a place for every palate). Charleston just a short car trip over the connector and is not to be missed. Took the carriage tour this time!!!! Can't wait to come back.

  Sweet, clean property which is nicer in real life than in the photos. All newly updated. Charming owners who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. No cold check-in at the local real estate rental office. We loved the beach gifts left for our 2 young boys and each loved their flamingo and fish bedrooms. We used the downstairs shower more than the one in the house, and they provided tons of fresh, clean towels for the bathroom and the beach. The wagon, beach umbrellas, cart, and chairs were a necessity and all provided for us. It was a 2 block walk to beach access #36 which was clean and not very crowded. We would definitely stay in this property again with our young family. Easier access to the IOP connector than other properties we have stayed at making easy to/from the island for dinners, sight seeing, and shopping.

  The home was perfect for our group of six and had all of the amentities we were looking for. The hot tub was a treat and we enjoyed working on the 1500 piece puzzle the owners provided. Just a short walk to the beach and you can hear the waves from the deck of the house. Steve and Rhonda were very kind and helpful--including letting us extend our stay so our daughter could recover from her emergency appendectomy (she's fine now).

  This house has a beautifully decorated, open floor plan that is prefect for spending time together with your fellow vacationers. The rooms are all spacious and nicely decorated as well. We loved all the outdoor living spaces this home had to offer, especially the jacuzzi and the huge backyard. we have kids so it was nice to find a home that was close to beach and also had lots of yard space for the kids to play stress-free in. The owners hospitality cannot be beaten between the gift baskets waiting for our children when we arrived and them making a quick visit to give us a rundown on how to operate everything. We loved meeting them and they were right there waiting for us if we needed them without being intrusive of our time. We would definitely recommend this home, we had a great vacation and a large part of that was how happy we were with our rental. Thank you so much!

  As a first time visitor to Isle of Palms, it was a memorable trip! My wife and I along with our three daughters had a great time in large part due to the accomodations provided by Steve and Rhonda. The house was everything it was advertised to be and more. All of the rooms were clean and well decorated. The hot tub was a hit! The location of the house was also great. It was on a quiet street but was still less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. We highly recommend 'A Little Peace of Paradise!'

  Our family vacations annually at IOP. Our stay at this "Peace" of Paradise, dubbed "the Pink House" by the kids, was our first time staying off the ocean and we had a WONDERFUL time. The house is located on a quiet street with beach access adjacent. It is a 5-minute walk to the beach (made very easy through the provision of a wagon that accommodates anything you could want to take with you). The house is very tastefully decorated and has a wonderful open floorplan. While there are TVs in all the bedrooms as well as a HDTV in the family room - we spent hours playing ping pong downstairs and games in the spacioius backyard. There is an elevator, which really comes in handy for unloading/loading your car and a downstairs shower/bathroom that is perfect for washing off after a day at the beach. The owners were just super and made everything easy. We would absolutely recommend this house to our familiy, friends, anyone and hope to stay again soon!

  We had a wonderful time vacationing at this house and we definitely plan to return again next year. The house is located in a great part of IOP. It is very close to the beach. Beach access is located immediately beside the property and it takes maybe 5 minutes to be on the beach with kids, chairs, coolers, etc in tow. The house is located above the crowded part of IOP. It is truly amazing the difference a few avenues can make!!! The marina (with restaurant and boat rentals) is only a few minutes away, as is Wild Dunes for the golfers in the crowd. FYI, the marina restaurant is okay. If you want a really good dinner on the island, then go to the Boathouse (but make a reservation in advance). When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with the amenities of the house. Although the house looks great from the pictures on the website, it is even better in person. The house is tastefully decorated and has a nice open floor plan. There are TVs in all the bedrooms as well as a HDTV in the family room. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi on the deck in the evenings as well as the ping pong table downstairs. The house has a very nice backyard for playing yard games or just relaxing. There is also an elevator, which really comes in handy for unloading/loading your car. The downstairs shower/bathroom is perfect for washing off after a day at the beach. A few last comments…The owners were very nice. They answered our questions adequately and in a timely manner before our arrival. They greeted us upon arrival, but then stayed out of our way. The owners have a nice assortment of beach chairs and games to add to your enjoyment during your stay. The beach wagon was just great for hauling kids/gear to the beach. The Wi-Fi access is handy for those of you like me who just can't help feeling the need to stay connected to the office (or whatever) while you are there. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends/relatives/anyone else.

  Wonderful house in an excellent location! Loved the decor throughout! Perfect floor plan for families or couples. The house is close to the beach and marina which makes for the perfect getaway whether you are interested in just relaxing or enjoying IOP's outdoor adventures! Enjoyed the ping pong table as well. Great vacation! We'll be back!

  This house was a perfect fit for our vacation. I love the décor in every room! The size and the layout are great for multiple couples or families, and the ping pong table downstairs provided hours of entertainment (for adults too!). The location offered easy access to the beach, and it was even close enough to hear the ocean waves at night. I didn’t want to leave at the end of our vacation. I look forward to visiting this house again in the future.

  My wife and I visited this home with another couple after finding it on VRBO and all expectations we had were exceeded and then some. All of the rooms look to be recently updated and the entire house is very clean. The convenient location to the beach and marina is also a plus.
