The perfect home for families and golf foursomes.
Conveniently located in the beautiful West Beach Village of Kiawah Island, this spacious home is great for vacations - bring the family and friends. This beautiful, newly decorated home has hardwood floors and is located on a very quiet secluded family friendly cul-du-sac, surrounded by large Live Oak and Palm trees. This home offers the feeling of seclusion as it has a natural surrounding, but easy access to all the action. A maritime forest is right out your back door and if you walk another 30 feet you can access 25 miles of bike trails to jog and explore.
This home makes a perfect home base, whether you like to kayak and explore the tributaries of the Kiawah river, play tennis at the West Beach Tennis Club (5 minute walk away), play basketball / volleyball / soccer at the Night Heron Park, or play golf at one of the nationally recognized golf courses. If your thing is to shop you have the straw market (5 minute walk away), Fresh Field's Shopping Village (2 miles away) or beautiful Charleston (25 miles away). And of course, the beach: shelling, sun bathing, walking, swimming, surfing, or just reading a good book on the least busy stretches of beach on Kiawah.
Whatever you do at Kiawah, this comfortable home will welcome you back.
The spacious family room affords plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy one of the included board games and cards. Or just take in a movie on the 42" HDTV after a busy day on the beach. The adjoining dining room has table seating for 8 plus 3 bar stools at the kitchen counter! A fully equipped kitchen with an eat-in bar makes serving easy. In the morning enjoy your coffee on the screened in porch - just off the dining room. The master bedroom has a king size bed with attached full bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and crib and the 3rd bedroom has twin beds - these bedrooms share a full bath. The 4th bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath.
After a busy day on the beach this house offers an outdoor enclosed shower. The propane grill is always ready for your use. The island offers wonderful children's camps filled with exciting daily activities and excursions. A marina with deep-sea fishing and sailing charters is located at the nearby Bohicket Marina. Easy access to the city of Charleston is a great addition to your vacation. Fine restaurants are present on the island as well as in the city.

We had a great time here. The house was very nice and close to everything. Quick bike ride to the beach and shops. Lots of bike trails for the kids to ride on. About a 30 min or less drive to downtown Charleston. Watched the dolphins strand feed at Captain Sam's Inlet. If want to see something very cool, check this out during low tide.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

We had 3 adults and 3 toddlers staying in this house and we definitely had room for more. The kids loved the house and it was perfect for families! Kitchen, dining open to family room which made it easy at meal times to prepare and eat. Plenty of room for kids to play and TV's in every room so kids could watch movies or adults could retreat to their rooms for privacy. 3 full bathrooms was plenty. We will be returning and hopefully with more people! The driveway was long and on a cul-de-sac was great to let the kids play outside with out worry. Also they had 4 bikes which provided more entertainment and exercise for us. Very close to beaches! It really was the perfect spot for us!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Kiawah. Our house is very "family friendly". With 8 adults and 7 grand kids (in our family) it has to be! We know the memories you created at Kiawah will stay with you for a lifetime and you are always welcomed back to our home. As we always say: "there's no place like Kiawah".

The weather was wonderful, warm all the way through Thanksgiving. We came to Kiawah for the 5K run, very nice house to accomodate a large family and did not need anything. Had Thanksgiving day on the beach and had a wonderful sand castle competition. While riding bikes we saw lots of wild life and enjoyed a group of dophins swimming on the beach. We were able to get out and had a great time crabbing. The bikes were a nice extra. Have been to Kiawah several times and the island never disappoints. The updates on places to eat was appreciated. Thanks.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Long bike rides every day, several times a day. Saw a mommy and baby dear and several alligators! Thanks for the tip on the fire tower view, just beautiful. Weather was in the 90's all week. Visited the County water park in Charleston - had a great time in the lazy river. Kids loved the Dippin Dot's ice cream at the park. Dinner at the Crab House that evening, very family freindly and yummy! Kiawah beach is natural and beautiful. At low tide it is the longest beach I have ever visited. Our last night we ate dinner at Red's, enjoyed a beautiful water view window seat and great food and drinks. After dinner, we enjoyed a awsome sunset stroll along the pier. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful home. The bikes and wave boards were a nice touch.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Kiawah is wonderful we enjoyed the beach with righteus waves, visited island and Freshfields. We also made it to Charleston and went on the Pirates Tour and ate at the Buchaneer Restaurant - great fun and food. The boys loved the pirate history in Charleston. The details that mattered were bikes, tours, chairs and beach access. Highly recommend and will visit again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
