The 4 bedrooms will comfortably accommodate 11. You can relax at the lake with all the comforts and conveniences of home. The treed yard provides added privacy and ample room for activities to occupy toddlers and adults alike.
Just off the highway, in a quiet community it's a great place to cycle around with the family. This property is used and maintained by the owners to ensure cleanliness and working appliances and features. The owners are available to provide suggestions for activites, local festivals or leave you to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the lake while spending quality time with family and friends. 62 wooden steps lead you to the sandy beach for swimming or enjoying the spectacular views.
Between the satellite TV, DVD player, wireless internet service, land-line telephone, central A/C, and the new appliances and furniture, there are just too many amenities to list. With Grand Bend and Bayfield so close by, this area offers fine cuisine, golfing, boating, hiking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, museums and attractions, various summer theater events, and a myriad of antique and unique shops. The possibilities are endless!
Please note that we have a 7 night minimum stay during July and August, but have no minimum stay outside of those two months. DISCOUNTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR MULTIPLE WEEK STAYS.

As described in photos and write-up, the cottage was ideal for a family vacation -clean, comfortable and well maintained. Beach entry(very sandy) was great for the 5 and 6 year olds as well as parents and grandparents. Lovely walks along the beach. Really enjoyed the sunsets (6 nights out of 7), the fire pits and s'mores. Great yard for kids to run and play. Good food shopping available in Grand Bend and Bayfield, the latter including Zehr's Market for home baked pies and butter tarts. Black Dog Pub in Bayfield turned out to be a good recommendation after a morning's play in large park/playground in BF. Grand Bend not really our cup of tea but had fun at the mini-golf. Did some exploring but the beach kept us occupied. We all went home very satisfied and would recommend to family/friends and may well come back ourselves.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

A group of us recently stayed at the Oke Guest Cottage and we loved it! The photos and description were exactly what we saw when we arrived. Very clean and nicely decorated, with lots of space in the bedrooms. You have all of the conveniences of home (A/C, dishwasher, satellite tv, washer/dryer) but with a lovely cottage feel - and some of the best views on Lake Huron! Lots of deck space and large yard for the kids to run around on. There are some steps down to the water, but we knew about that in advance and the beach is quiet and sandy! It is just a short drive to the artisan village of Bayfield or the touristy beach town of Grand Bend. You have to try the Black Dog in Bayfield - one of our favourite places for lunch or late dinner - and the kids will love Archies Emporium in Grand Bend. We are already looking at dates so we can book the Oke Guest Cottage again in 2012.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
