  We knew we were heading to a beautiful place from looking at the pictures and description on VRBO, but reality was quite different: the pictures & description do not come even close to doing Hancel's Haven justice. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would strobgly recommend it. We can say enough about the ease of dealing with the owners. It was a flawless transaction.

  Pictures did not do this home justice on size at all. Home was large with plenty of room for our large group. Plenty of outdoor space as well with the large porch. Skiing and swimming in a perfect open cove right from the dock. Marina for launching boat was right up the road, and very convenient. Would highly recommend this property to others. Owners were very informative and great to work with. Thanks and hope to come back!

  Wonderful spacious home right on Lake Martin, even more impressive in person. The wrap around porch give amazing views of the lake. This location was ideal for tubing, skiing,and swimming directly behind the house. Great place for all ages to play and relax. We had an excellent time at this house and would recommend it to others.

  This was our second year in this beautiful home. We had another wonderful time. There are a lot of beautiful homes on the Lake for rent, but we believe we found a jewel. We will return each year that this home is available to us. So if you are looking and trying to decide where to stay, I highly recommend this property.

  My family and I usually go to the beaches for summer vacations but this year we want to do something different and were glad we did! This property is absolutely wonderful! It sits on a quiet part of the lake with a swimming platform and place to dock your watercraft. We brought a boat and our jet ski's, but spent most of the time on rafts just floating around and relaxing. The house is beautiful with a huge kitchen and family room, and a wrap around porch, where we spent our time when we weren't in the water. The bedrooms are large with 3 of the 4 overlook the lake. Everything is within reach, as we only had a 20mi drive to golf and shop. The owners are pleasant and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this property and can't wait to go back! Note: I would recommend bringing only food as this home has just about everything you need for your stay and more. Brian and Amy from Nashville, TN

  Our family-married children and grandchildren-had a wonderful vacation at Lake Martin. The lake itself is beautiful and was enjoyed by all 3 generations of our group. I thought the Cody's home looked terrific in the photos on the rental site, but they did not do the home justice. It was everything that is promised in the listing, and then some. We found it to be very spacious and had everything we needed. It was clean and very well maintained. The owner was extremely personable and helpful. I felt like I was using a friend's home after our conversations. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting a relaxing, enjoyable vacation.

  The pictures do not do this home justice. It is so awsome. Very spacious and the layout is great for large groups. I felt like we were staying in our best friends home. Not like a rental at all. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a wonderful time on the lake.
