BREAKERS 3 - TROPICAL PARADISE! Celebrate the day with brilliant sunshine, glorious sunsets and star-studded skies! This luxury three-bedroom, two-bath Gulf-front beach home is located in a quiet, secluded area of Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island. The white sandy beach stretches for miles along the length of the island and spectacular Gulf vistas can be seen from the living room, dining room and master bedroom.
Spacious yet warm and cozy, this beach home is perfect for a romantic getaway,family vacation or intimate beach wedding and offers every amenity to make your vacation enjoyable and comfortable. The living room/dining room and kitchen feature an open plan with vaulted ceiling, warm wood paneling, and tile floors, queen sofa bed, love seat and chair, and flat screen TV/VCR. Other amenities include a full-size washer and dryer, Weber grill and much more. The kitchen is a gourmet’s delight with new cabinets and granite counter tops. It is outfitted with cookware, glassware and dishware, candle holders, linen place mats and napkins and other amenities for dining and entertaining to create an idyllic vacation experience.
The large master bedroom with sliding patio doors leading to the deck overlooking the beach and Gulf features a king bed, chests of drawers, large overstuffed chair and ottoman, large walk-in closet with built-in drawers, flat-screen TV and adjoining bath. The second bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV and rocking chair for quiet time or reading. The third bedroom is ideal for children or couples with 2 bunk beds, each with double lower and single upper, chests of drawers, TV/DVD and large closet.
Spend lazy days enjoying the gentle Gulf breezes on the large deck sunbathing, reading, dining or watching the sailboats and beach strollers for the perfect beach vacation! Furniture includes table and umbrella, chairs and chaise lounges. Wicker-type rocking chairs complete the package.

We rented this property recently and it was truly disappointing. Although the agency was gracious to let us in early, the property needs help. The outside walls are the dirtiest we've ever seen (the housekeeper apoligzed for it and blamed it on the last storm. However, all other homes were clean in the area.) The inside was upgraded - however, the granite countertops were dirty; drinking cups/glasses had lipstick on them (I had to wash the glasses a couple of times to get them clean;) utensils had food on them (dirty as well.) Other than salt an pepper this house does not include anything - not even paper towel (get your own.) The walls in the bedrooms are dirty and need a paint job and so does the rest of the house. The chairs on the deck are rusty and fell appart - dangerous if you have little kids with you. These should be replaced. The air conditioner did not work - property management firm responded right away, but the air conditioning person had to coome out 3 times in one week to make sure it works (said he needs to work on it after we leave.) The washer and dryer are super old, as is the house in general. Overall, we were very dispointed we paid the amount we did and excpeted a lot more. One last note, this house is next to parking for a public beach....so it's super busy. If you are looking for privacy and calm, this is not the place for that. Traffic was horrible and people blocked our parking a couple of times (the owners should mention this is not private.) Overall, this is not a home I would recommend ... one of the dirtiest places we've ever rented (and we've bee doing this for a very long time.)Owner response: Breakers 3 is an updated direct Gulf-front Florida-style beach house with a beautiful beach and awesome views of the Gulf and fabulous sunsets. If there are any issues, we request that people contact us immediately so that they can be corrected; we always appreciate comments to help maintain Breakers 3 to our standards and make the guests’ stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our cleaners have personally cleaned the house for over five years and this is the first complaint we have ever received; if there are any issues, we ask that guests contact us so we can address any cleaning issues. Since this is a Gulf-front elevated home, the house is subject to salt spray after a strong storm, more than the surrounding homes that are ground-level; we clean it as often as possible. Any items on the exterior of the house rust quickly and need to be replaced frequently. Most of the outside chairs are heavy plastic; we have replaced any chairs that are not up to our standard. Although the washer and dryer are not brand new, they are full-size and both work well. We apologize that the air conditioning had to be repaired during your stay; we have it serviced several times a year but salt air/water is extremely damaging to air conditioning units. It was repaired as soon as we received notification that it was not working; there were two return calls to make sure that it was working properly. We provide paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, hand soap, large bars of bath soap, coffee filters, Kleenex and extra toilet tissue and other items that typically last for a week’s stay depending on the number of people and usage. They are replaced after each guest’s stay. We also provide beach towels and a very well outfitted kitchen. All of the beaches on Anna Maria are open to the public (this is part of the charm and uniqueness of the island). There is a small entrance way to the beach and a very limited number of roadway parking spaces near Breakers 3 - fewer than 15 spaces in the area around Breakers 3. The surrounding homes are all single family, owner-occupied. Many of our guests come back year-after-year to enjoy Breakers 3 and the laid-back island ambiance.

January 2010 - Just had a wonderful vacation experience on Anna Maria Island. This rental home provided everything we could expect and more – I was impressed by the attention to cleanliness, updated décor, comfortable furnishings, comfortable beds, and a beautifully stocked kitchen. Even huge candles on the dining table to add to our experience! The owner provided great beach chairs for watching the amazing sunsets and conversation in the evening. The location on the island was a wonderful quiet area of beachfront with soft white sandy beach. We could walk for miles and even stopped at a fun restaurant on the beach for breakfast. This home is very spacious and could easily host several families – next time I hope to bring our children and families. I will certainly return! December 2010 “We have vacationed on Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key once or twice a year since 1988, and have just finished our second stay at Breakers 3 this year. This is a super nice private beachfront home that is close to everything, and with plenty of room. The kitchen is recently renovated and is fully furnished, and a deck runs across the entire front. It is located on a quiet side street.
