Beautiful home for a company getaway

We came up to Big Bear for a company weekend getaway. This cabin was perfect and located just minutes away from Bear Mountain. We had 9 adults total, and there was more than enough room. The cabin comes with just about everything that you could need. There is a pool table, Wii, Xbox, movies, and more, so there is always something to do. The Jacuzzi was a nice way to spend the evening after a day on the slopes. There is a bedroom door right next to the Jacuzzi so you don't have to freeze walking back inside. The backyard is beautiful and backs to the Eagle preserve. Being able to use the garage was a huge plus! We didn't have to scrape any windows! The property was clean and very well maintained. The owners responded very quickly to my inquiry and to any questions that I had prior to our arrival. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends and family.

Cabin was lovely! And a great location! We loved being near the markets & on the other side of town which made getting to the slopes easier than driving through town on a holiday weekend! Castle Glen was gorgeous! Made us want to buy our own cabin in that neighborhood. My husband & I loved sitting on one of the front decks, relaxing, facing Summit & watching the sun go down. The kids had a blast....lots to do, Wii, X-box, Jacuzzi, Flat Screen TVs, Pool Table, Air Hockey & Ping Pong ~ perfect! Cabin is decorated warmly & tasteful. The beds were very cozy! It's clear the owners take great pride in both their property & their guests. We would definitely stay there again!!! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful home, great location

We go to Big Bear each year with 3 other families for a weekend of fun in the snow. Each year, we have rented different houses because we haven't found one that really hit it out of the park for us. This year, we did with this property. There was plenty of room for all of us, beautiful accommodations, and space inside for young kids to play without us tripping over them and their toys. We brought a baby gate to put at the top of the stairs for the one toddler, and that was sufficient "baby proofing." At least 2 of the rooms had space for a pack and play for a young child to sleep in. Everything was in working order, the kitchen was well stocked, and the hot tub was divine. Unfortunately, there was very little snow when we visited this year in early March, but we were able to take short hikes with the kids out of the back of the property, and even walk down to the lake for some great photography ops. We are looking forward to returning to this property again... We are sure it will be equally great when there is snow!

We had an absolutely AMAZING time at the cabin. Everything was truly perfect. My sister in law who is the cleanest person I know gave the cabin a thumbs up which is extremely high praise. I personally thought the master bedroom bed was heavenly. The cabin was so well stocked we felt we came over prepared. The location was fantastic - around the corner from Vons, pizza, Starbucks & a snowsledding place. Can you tell we had a good time? We will definitely be in contact again next year or maybe even this summer!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin! It was very clean, fully stocked, and we LOVED the outdoor hot tub! There is a center a short drive away with a large grocery store, a Starbucks, and anything else you may need. The neighborhood is beautiful and very tranquil. We would definitely go back!

Big Bear Cabin

We are from Southern California and thought this would be a perfect weekend getaway for the family. The cabin is very well maintained and felt like it was home away from home as soon as we walked in. The views from the patio were amazing. The location was convenient to everything. We would definitely recommend staying at this cabin and would love to go back during winter.

A great Big Bear getaway

We are from Florida and were in LA visiting our daughter and decided that a Big Bear getaway would be a great idea. We absolutely loved the area and the Castle Glen Estates cabin was perfect. The owners were wonderful and made the experience very easy for us. Everything was immaculate & well appointed. The location was convenient to everything including shopping, hiking, swimming and many other local activities. We look forward to trying out the area during the ski season too. We highly recommend this cabin & can't wait to visit again.

My family and I go to Big Bear every year for a little getaway. We always struggle to find a cabin that will sleep 8 adults. This place was perfect and had plenty of space for everyone. The cabin is very well maintained and had plenty of games, including the great pool/ping pong table. We also got very lucky and had a ton of snow, which made it even better. We look forward to coming back next year!

We stayed here 3 nights in mid January. 2 couples and 3 children. The setup was perfect, with a great bunkbed room for the boys and a smaller bedroom next to ours for our daughter. Then the other couple stayed downstairs and had lots of space to themselves, too. Great view of Snow Summit! Warm, well stocked, and truly comfortable beds. Very clean, cozy, easy to find, and convenient location. Thank you!

My family and I stayed here from 12/26 to 12/28. The house is well maintained and has everything you need. It was practically brand new. The rooms are spacious. We loved the pool table/wii games/jacuzzi/jetted tub. We enjoyed the cabin very much and will definitely be back next year.

I would highly recommend this cabin! It is extremely well maintained, well appointed, spacious and in a great location. It has a lot of charm and feels like someones home, not a rental. We rented it as a surprise for my in-laws to celebrate their anniversary. They were blown away by the cabin and are still talking about it. It had something for everyone. The kids loved playing in the snow on the patio, sledding at the end of the street and hiking up the hill to "look for bears." The adults loved relaxing, playing pool and cooking as a family. It's absolutely a place we would rent again!

This is the first time we spent a weekend over in this cabin. The drive from south orange county on Friday afternoon was horrible. But upon arriving on the property the mood for us changed to excitement. When we walked into the cabin our faces lit up like children on Christmas day. What a beautiful lovely cabin with everything you need. The hardwood ceiling and the wall built with large wood poles were simply magnificent to look at. The living area upstairs was large and equipped with big screen TV, Pool table, a nice fire place, a formal dining table and a fully furnished kitchen. The porch upstairs provides a breathtaking view to the mountain ski resort. Our daughter and us were having such enjoyable moment here that we are already planning our next stay over here again and to try out the new outdoor Jacuzzi (was under construction) early in the year.
