YES! White powdery sand beach directly behind condo. The normal rate is $174 per night. $139 is a temporary special offer. This is a true one bedroom that sleeps up to six comfortably. It is not one of those studios with a small bed niche that others at the complex (Pats at Punaluu) try to pass off as a one bedroom. This unit is the ground floor corner unit, the most preferred location so you can avoid lengthy elevator waits on your vacation. All visitors have agreed that this unit is absolutely the best location in the building. Luxurious upgrades include granite counter top, travertine type flooring, $3,000 massage chair, dishwasher and state of the art ceiling fans. It has a cherry wood sleigh King bed with pillow top mattress in the bedroom, a full size "top of the line" futon couch which is more comfortable than a bed (at a cost of more than $400 for the futon mattress alone), 2 single futons and even an extra full size king air mattress with pump and lots of extra linens. There is a Pentium IV computer in the bedroom that has unlimited high speed internet access and Wi-Fi for your laptops. The unit is stocked with quality snorkeling equipment, quality Boogie boards, movie video library and even books. There is a full kitchen with large refrigerator, stove/oven, pots, pans, dishes and silverware, paintings of ocean and ocean life, track lighting in both front and back rooms, acrylic glass set, microwave containers, knife set, 'patio set with cushions .....Also deluxe toaster oven w/rotisserie, automatic rice cooker, 2 color TVs, VCR, DVD Player, Panasonic microwave, coffee maker and grinder, Kenmore washer/dryer, remote phone, leather Recliner chair and clock radio/CD player in the bedroom.
You will enjoy visiting because part of the time you have the white sandy beach completely to yourself (Yes it is always safe). The area (Hauula) is on the opposite side of the island from the airport and Waikiki. About 45 minutes to an hour drive. It is not far from the Polynesian Cultural Center (about a 10 min.drive). The city bus line picks up directly in front of the unit. Sunset Beach is about 15 minutes away.
Baywatch Hawaii was filmed about 25 minutes away in Haleiwa and North Shore on FOX was filmed 20 minutes away in the same direction. "Lost" is presently filming in Waialua past Haleiwa. Foodland Supermarket is a major chain in Hawaii and has one ten minutes away. The building is eight stories high. Avoid lengthy elevator waits on your vacation. It is thirty steps to a white secluded sandy beach. The ocean is calm because of a reef 1/4 mile out which blocks the waves. It is perfect for kids to enjoy snorkeling and swimming. The building has amenities like professional Bar-b-que area, gym, swimming pool next to your unit and sunning area behind your unit. Your parking stall is included and located right in front of the unit.
This is the ground floor, corner unit. This is the preferred size and location. The unit extends from one end of the building to the other and measures approximately 850 sq. ft.

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 1987
I am a single father who found a way to spend alot of time with my son while making a living. I had no idea the two condos I had purchased before my son was born were zoned for vacation rentals. I believe we can make all the plans we want but the final outcome is up to God. I know many people may only visit Hawaii once in their lifetime and every minute of their time here is precious. I try to treat others as I would like to be treated.
I have gained some weight since that picture so I explain to people that I used to be a Chippendale's Dancer and now I am a Chips Ahoy Dancer! My son is a top student at the University of Hawaii and will be attending medical school when he graduates. He wants to be a top surgeon to help others....not for the moolah. In any of his endeavors he has tweaked a better way of doing things. If you stay here, thank you for helping to pay his tuition.
Why the Owner Chose Punaluu
I am a realtor and brought my client to see this condo. The second I saw the ocean view I was in AWE. I told my client that if he didn't buy this place, I would. I am a man of my word but a lousy realtor. I bought more places than I sold my first year....just kidding.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
The screened-in patio is my favorite place to hang out. It feels like the whole beach belongs to you.

A Beautiful Place

I looked forward every morning to walk out into the back, that's right...walk out into the back, like it was your backyard and watch the sunrise each morning, even when it was a little rain the sunrises were as beautiful as the woman that I was blessed to share those moments with. An occasional turtle rose their head to see was over there on the land, and once I saw the whales just swimming by enjoying the morning trip somewhere...And if you're lucky enough to come during the waxing moon, the nights are as beautiful as any movie or picture you ever seen or dream of a tropical night...its real!!!!! An ideal location for access to the busier North Shore spots and a nice drive down the coast to the busier Waikiki. And for those who just want to chill out and enjoy the beach the country atmosphere, this is the place. Food and restaurants are near by. Comfortable apartment with all the amenities and then some, you'll find some new ones on your last day there. Looking at the calendar we gotta book early!!!! thanks

This condo has the best beach and pool access of the entire building. Parking is also close to the unit. It is well equiped and clean. The building and grounds, though old are immaculately kept. While we were there the unit had a couple issues but Emmanuel was extermrly quick to react, very helpful and everything was great. By chance we met another person who had stayed in Emmanuel's unit too. Imagine the chance of that! Her sentiments were exactly the same as ours, This is a fantastic place to stay and we will nver stay in Oahu anywhere esle. Thanks for a great time Emmanuel.

My family and I stayed at this condo in late May. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful from the very beginning....the initial reservation through our stay. When we found the wash machine was not working, he was very responsive and worked to immediately resolve the issue. He was very accessible if we needed anything and checked in to ensure the accommodations met our satisfaction. He is a very personable person and really works to provide excellent customer service. The photos posted are very accurate and reflected exactly what we found. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. We were leery about not having AC, but it was not an issue. We had a beautiful ocean breeze blowing in every day, it was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with whatever you needed to fix meals. The condo was stocked with plenty of snorkel equipment which we used. And, it was true in that we practically had the beach to ourselves. It was a very enjoyable stay and we'd recommend this condo hands down. We'd stay again.

The condo was just as pictured and very clean and well equipped. There is a nice breeze that goes through it to keep things nice and cool. The beach was amazing and very beautiful and quiet. A local neighbor told me that the snorkeling here was even better than Hanuama Bay. Unfortunately, it rained the whole week we were there so we didn't actually try snorkeling here but the water was very nice and no big waves. You could see where the big waves were breaking out where the reaf is. We did have an issue while we were staying at the condo but Emmanuel was extremely responsive and helpful. He was very concerned for the quality of our vacation and making sure the condo was comfortable.

My husband and I recently spent 11 wonderful days in Paradise. Everything was even better than we had hoped for. Everything is provided for you, all you have to do is kick back and have a blast!! My daughter and her husband and two kids aged 12 and 15 joined us for a week and had THE best time ever. We swam and snorkled several times a day, saw lots of sea turtles and just had a ball. We had rented a car and took a road trip every day, we discovered some amazing places and things to do within just a short distance from our condo. Every day was an adventure, we've already booked it again for next year. I really can't say enough great things about this condo, it's location is awesome, so quiet and with the beach right on your doorstep. We couldn't ask for more. If you're looking for a totally relaxing vacation while still being just a few minutes from Honolulu with all its hustle and bustle, this is the place for you.

We stayed in Hawaii for 10 days, 7 spent at this condo and 3 spent at a condo in Makaha. Our entire condo unit in Makala could have fit in this condo's living area. Having the large bedroom, separate from the living area was a real benefit. The king sized top quality bed, felt like I was sleeping at home. The large bureau and end tables and full closet were great for storing all our clothing. The kitchen in this condo is first rate including all the supplies you would ever need- all top notch compared to our other condo. The dual sinks in the bathroom were a nice feature. There were even two sinks in the kitchen- nice! We could not believe that there was a lap top for us to use- what a huge benefit for getting around the Island, and finding things to do and learning about Oahu, not to mention keeping up with what was going on back hom. However, by far the most impressive aspect of this condo is the location. From the lanai you take about 15 steps across a well manicured lawn, onto a soft sandy beach, and jump into the warm, calm ocean water. You are not getting blasted by rolling surf, but can actually go for a swim, and snorkel in the reef. It is even safe for your kids to splash around in. The area is very quiet- far away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and there is no $20.00 per night parking fees, and your condo is not 3 blocks away from the beach. We visited Honolulu 3 times, a short 45 minute drive away, and visited Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, Diamond Head, The Sony Open Golf tournament, and many other locations, but loved coming home every night. There is no elevator to descend/ascend and no lenghty walks to the beach. You grab your coffee in the morning, walk out your screen door, and take your 15 stride walk to the beach, and watch the sunrise! Or go for a long walk along secluded, quiet beaches- far away from the maddening crowds!! I hope I have not missed anything. This was one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had. I only wish I could have dragged this condo over to Makala for our last three days!! Michel's description of his condo is 100% accurate and the photos reflect what you can expect. The Foodland Store is great (10-15 minutes away) and if you give them your phone # you get member prices- we saved $25.00 on a grocery bill of 140.00. The Polynesian Cultural Center and Brigham Young University with a beautiful cathedral and gardens is also nearby, as are three golf courses within 20 minutes- one of them is only $12.00 a round!

Our family loved the location of the condo. The screened in patio was a plus. The gear saved us money and time. Our family had the most beautiful dinner over looking the beach for our last night. We hope to come back again. Mahalo The Cronks

Quiet, clean, peaceful place in a rural, coastal setting. Hiking trails, breathtaking views, multiple non-hectic sandy gorgeous beaches, great swimmming.....are all right there. If you want the touristy shopping, the crowded beaches, fabulously expensive restaurants and the can-be-fun for a while hubbub...well...you can always drive back into Honolulu. Great vacation. Thanks.

We enjoyed our 10 day stay at the condo very much. Since it was our first time visiting Oahu we were unsure of the location but it turned out well as it was centrally located to everything we wanted to see. The tradewinds at the condo were always a pleasure and made sleeping comfortable. Our favorite part of the condo was the lanai and we pretty much hung out there for eating, playing cards, and just relaxing with the beautiful view. You can never run out of things to do in Oahu but it was great to come back to the condo to recharge our batteries after a day of fun! Emmanuel was kind and checked in with us several times during our stay. We have many fond memories of Punaluu.
