  The villa was a perfect loacation for our family. We loved the great view and the peaceful setting. Especially the cooling air through the great entrance door was good experience. We loved the karakter beach club directly in the community with good food and a nice beach. We recommend this place highly to singles or families. We hope to see it again in the future.

  Después de haber escuchado a muchos amigos hablar muy lindas cosas sobre Curaçao, mi novia y yo decidimos visitar esta hermosa isla. La villa fue una excelente elección. Al llegar a la villa se da uno cuenta de la atención al detalle y la sofisticada arquitectura de la villa. La confección blanca la hace sentir como algo de sueños. Al abrir la puerta principal el sol que brillo a través de las paredes blancas y rojos acentos en el interior realmente nos hizo sentir como sí estábamos en un sueño...y sólo era el principio de nuestra experiencia. La villa tiene una excelente vista hacia el océano. Algo que inherentemente invita a la paz interior y a la relajación. No hay nada más relajante que sentarse en una de las confortables sillas de playa y observar la magnificente vista. Para nuestro asombro uno de los días por la mañana nos deleitamos observando en el océano ballenas plomas por al rededor de 4 horas!! Que espectáculo tan memorable!! La gente en los alrededores fueron todas muy buenas personas, amigables y de muy buen corazón. En sólo minutos caminando podíamos llegar a Karakter, el bar/Restaurant más cercano con excelente comida y servicio. Mi novia y yo disfrutamos mucho el snorkling y fue en esta playa donde vimos una tremenda variedad de vida acuática. No sólo estaba esta playa, sino que como a 10 minutos de la villa estaban otras playas igualmente (o más) lindas. Las playas estaban todas bien cuidadas y fueron muy seguras. Uno se sentía tranquilo dejando las cosas en la silla y yendo a caminar por la playa. En el supermercado Centrum encontramos una gran variedad de comida para cocinar en la cocina de la villa, la cual tenía una tremenda vista al océano...daban ganas de cocinar!!! El viaje al centro de Curaçao fue corto y lo hicimos muchas muchas veces para disfrutar de otras playas y de las otras bellas atracciones que tiene la isla. Nuestro lugar favorito fue Mundo Bizarro! Excelentes mojitos!!! Al fin de la noche el dormir en las cómodas camas de nuestra pieza, y el silencio del alrededor nos dejaba muy refrescados para las aventuras del próximo día! El despertar con los pajaritos cantando algunos días fue lindo. La atención a la villa fue excelente y todo estaba siempre limpio. La piscina también. Siempre sirvió para refrescarnos después de tomar sol. Ahora planeamos volver a la misma villa si no este año será el próximo. Recomendamos esta villa sin pregunta alguna. Una excelente elección!!

• Amazing House!

  My family and I stayed here in early February and the house is exactly like the pictures posted. Every single day me were greeted by perfect weather and a beautiful view. Since most of the other reviews were regarding the house and how great Heidi is (ps she was amazing for us, even came and cleaned the house mid-week), I thought I'd try to add some different information for anyone who is considering renting this house: The house is not near the city or tourist destinations. It's a little off the beaten path, so it's super quiet and very relaxing, and maybe a 15 minute drive to the tourist areas; you will need a rental car. Additionally, my father and I are avid SCUBA divers and the reef off the Karacter beach is a thousand times better than near the tourist destinations. The corals are much more vibrant and alive because it's not as popular of a spot. The gentleman who owns the dive shop is awesome too, very relaxed and friendly. We dove a few days wth the Marriott and just tried this on a whim, and ended up cancelling the rest of our trips with the Marriott. There's a restaurant/hotel right nearby named Daniels Hotel (which is WAY different then the soda fountain you pass every day) which was awesome. We had great cheese fondue and keshi yena and it was all phenomenal. The Karacter restaurant was just ok, we ate there a lot and had mostly good food, but the nicest part is laying by the ocean while the servers bring you drinks and appetizers. They had plenty of little huts and we sat all day swimming, diving, and relaxing. I would 100% recommend this rental. My family still talks about how perfect it was.

  If the journey is the destination then this is a fantastic journey!! We spent 2 weeks relaxing with two different groups of friends in this beautiful professionally designed home. Arriving here from Minnesota March 2 was truly a gift of sunshine and lovely island breezes away from -10 degrees and four feet of snow. The view is amazing! The walls literally open, almost ceiling to floor on 3 sides so it is like living outside. The front door is just amazing. You easily close a few walls and the home is secure while away. The bedrooms have remote controlled air conditioning that was perfect for a good night’s sleep. During the day open the walls and enjoy the tropical island trade winds. Lying in the sun on the patio and rolling into the pool now and then to cool off is perfect for an afternoon. The well-appointed kitchen is to die for with lots of room for everyone. We cooked many meals and enjoyed dining on the patio. The management people are excellent to work with as well as the onsite caretakers. They care! If you get to this part of the world this home is a delight! Thanks for sharing it with us! Craig & Richard

  Desde el momento en que llegamos a Oceanvillas situada en la localidad de Coral Estate nos dejó fascinados, fotos en línea de la Villa son muy hermosas, es absolutamente impresionante estar allí. Nuestra estancia en esta hermosa villa en Curacao fue maravillosa, el despertar cada día allí era como un sueño hecho realidad. La naturaleza, los pájaros, el silencio, el cielo azul y el mar se unen en uno solo. Pasamos unas vacaciones estupendas con mi familia. La Villa está perfectamente situado, con una vista increíble del océano, uno siente una paz interior y la tranquilidad, es indescriptible. Los vientos alisios que pasan a través de la casa dan aire acondicionado natural. La cocina está perfectamente situado frente al mar y ofrece una gran inspiración para preparar una maravillosa comida, nuestros niños también disfrutaron mucho de la piscina. Las paredes blancas dan una pureza del que uno no quiere decir adiós. Las espectaculares puestas de sol son inolvidables y te hacen sentir un romanticismo muy especial. Caminamos unos diez minutos y llegamos a la playa y un restaurante que se llama Karakter muy agradable. Otros días nos fuimos a Porto Marie una espectacular playa, playa muy segura para los niños, con baños y un restaurante. La gente de Curaçao son muy amables y muy felices. Hablan varios idiomas, lo que hizo fácil para nosotros comunicarnos, en los supermercados encontramos todo lo que queríamos para disfrutar de nuestras vacaciones. Esperamos volver en el futuro cercano a Curacao y alojarnos de nuevo en esta maravillosa Villa. Recomendamos esta Villa a todos los que tengan la suerte de viajar a Curacao. Gracias por todo

  From the moment we arrived to Oceanvillas 641 located in the Coral Estate Resort we were fascinated, photos on line of the Villa are very beautiful, it's absolutely breathtaking to be there. Our stay in this beautiful Villa in Curacao was wonderful, waking up each day there it was like a dream come true. The nature, the birds, the silence, the blue sky and sea come together into one. We spent a lovely holiday with my family. The Villa is perfectly located with an amazing view of the ocean, which when viewed one feels an inner peace and tranquility, it's indescribable. We loved the trade winds coming through the house, that gave natural air conditioning. The kitchen is perfectly located facing the ocean and gives great inspiration to prepare a wonderful meal, our kids also enjoyed the pool very much. The white walls gives a purity of which one does not want to say goodbye. The spectacular sunsets are unforgettable and make you feel a very special romanticism. We walked about ten minutes and got to the beach and restaurant which is very nice Karakter. Other days we drove not long to Porto Marie a spectacular beach, very safe beach for children, with bathrooms and a restaurant. The people in Curaçao are very friendly and very happy. They speak several languages which made it easy for us to communicate, in supermarkets we found everything we wanted to enjoy on our vacation. We hope to return in the near future to Curacao and stay again in this wonderful Villa. We recommend this Villa to anyone. Thanks for everything. Elba & Rodolfo

  The overall Villa is fabulous and very comfortable for those who enjoy a modern upscale vacation experience. The view from the Infinity pool is amazing! The property is immaculate and well maintained. We offer the following comments as feedback for future guests: We found only one electrical adapter in the villa for use with US 3 prong plugs. None were available at Gomez or Kooyman Hardware stores. We took turns using the one and moving it inside to outside and back. Recommend that additional outlet adapters be furnished and or tell future guests from the US to bring adapter kits for their electronic devices. 2 Large bath towels and 2 Beach towels were initially provided. Towels added midweek were small and of low quality. A pair of binoculars would have been a nice addition to view the parade of ocean going vessels passing by. A computer desk would have also been nice to have as most of us travel with laptops and other devices. The Master Bed should have a mattress cover put on before the bed is made. Sleeping directly on the mattress is not comfortable nor is it a good practice for sanitation. Did the Owner provide good Customer Service? We cannot rate this since we did not require any concierge services during our stay. Everything considered we would recommend the Villa. We felt that the Island of Curacao was a mixture of Amsterdam and Caribbean Island style. If one is looking for Fine Dining establishments for décor, service and food, one is better served going to St. Barth. If you are more laid back looking casual and food is your only requirement than you will like the Island. The beaches are very small, the sand littered with trash from locals and tourists and covered in coral and rocks. We enjoyed our visit to the National Park on the North Coast to see the Bokas, we recommend that as a must do for all visitors to the Villa since it is only a short drive away.

  Owner response: Dear David, thank you for the wonderful review. We are very happy you enjoyed your stay. Your feedback is very important to us and we take all suggestions seriously. The US 3 prong plugs are difficult to find on the island as they are really not needed. We use the 2 Prong US adapters (5 in the villa) for the US 3 prong plugs which are typically for laptops. The ground prong does not need to connect into the adapter. It simply slides over it and works just fine. We will do our best to try and locate a few on the island, if we have no luck we will bring some from the US on our next trip. We previously decided not to put a computer desk as it would crowd the villa with too much furniture. We use the large coffee table, dining room table and also 3 other coffee tables that double as leg rests when using our laptops. For the mattress cover in the master bedroom, I confirmed with Heidi the property manager that it was definitely there. Perhaps you did not realize as most mattress covers are not that thick and they zip up with a pretty tight fit. All 4 bedrooms have mattress covers for sanitary reasons and as well to preserve the mattress themselves, otherwise we would need to replace the mattress once a year. We have been to the island over 8 times and still have not managed to cover even half of the hundreds of restaurants on the island. Of these hundreds of restaurants, many are actually Fine Dining 5 Star establishments with modern luxury décor and top notch service. Our concierge service could have pointed you in the right direction to these establishments, here are a few suggestions for your next trip to Curacao with some TOP 5 Star Restuarants, you can find their websites online: Saint Tropez Oceanclub Curacao, Papagayo Beach Club, Zest Mediterranean Curacao, Hyatt Regency Shor Seafood, Boase Curacao There are many small and secluded beaches on the island which makes the island unique to say Aruba which only has a few stretches of long beaches. In addition there several large and long beaches as well. Many are sand bottom only and others are only coral making Curacao beaches very unique, different and fun to explore. Our website oceanvillascuracao can point you to all these beaches & there are some wonderful photos. The three top beaches on the island which are all sand bottom are very near to the villa. Porto Marie, Cas Abao and Playa Kalki. We hope to see you in the future.

  What can I say, all was great, beautiful house, location, friendly locals, water is warm and clear, not really sand on the beaches but once you are in the water it doesn't matter. It was truly a five star stay, pool is great for cooling off when the sun is out, you actually hope for some cloud for some relief from the sun, even when you have clouds it is hot. Great breeze through the house when front door is open. There are lots of little biting flies and mosquito's, they're sneaky bring good bug spray.

  The villa is situated in the Coral Estates property in Curacao which is a gated and private community. The views from the villa are spectacular! Full view of the ocean with awesome sunsets. The Villa is exactly as described and you will not want to leave the infinity pool! The villa is fully equipped with all amenities and is exactly as described. We were welcomed by Heidi who will look after your stay and help you with anything you need. We emailed Heidi ahead of our stay and she picked up some groceries for us(for a small fee), so we had a stocked fridge on arrival. The restaurant at Karakter has great food at reasonable prices and they will deliver to the villa if you desire. The villa has wifi, full kitchen, cooler for the beach, beach towels....all as described. The property is centrally located to the beautiful beaches, Porto Mari, Cas Abou....Willemstad is only 1/2 an hour drive. All I can say is "Book this Villa!"
