  This was our first visit to the Galveston area and what a treat it was to stay at Bada Beach! The condo was extremely clean with high end finishes and Valerie has thought of every amenity guests could need. The decor is very nicely done in soothing hues of the sea with tasteful beach themed touches. The view from the balcony is spectacular, we enjoyed the parade of pelicans and gulls and their frequent flyovers. Coffee at sunrise is a must! The gym is a plus and the pool area was very enjoyable after a warm day of shopping. Valerie provided a wealth of information on "must see or do" and places to dine that were spot on. The only thing I would change about our stay would have been that it could have been longer. This is a great place for a couple. I would highly recommend this property and we would stay here again.   We enjoyed a comfortable stay which added to the pleasure of our trip. Our only suggestion would be to have heavier drapes in the bedroom in addition to the blinds provided. Our preference is a much darker sleeping environment. We refered to the map of the island on the living room wall often. A nice touch! Leon's, although a hole in the wall, did indeed have great BBQ ribs. Thanks for the suggestion. We would not hesitate to recommend this cozy condo to others.

  This was the first time we had rented a condo for a winter vacation. We were pleasantly surprised at the immaculate condition of the condo and the amenities offered. The staff in the lobby was most helpful and friendly also. Restaurants we liked were: McAlister's Deli, Marios Ristorante,IHOP, and Jimmy's on the Pier. Attractions we liked were: NASA Space Center, Bishop's Palace, Moody Mansion, Moody Gardens, Mardi Gras parades, and Kemah Boardwalk. While in Galveston, we attended First Christian Church in Texas City and we were most warmly welcomed there. We also enjoyed walking on the beach west of the Galveston sea wall and driving the length of the island to its western end. The sunrises and sunsets on the beach were great for picture taking. It was too cool in February to do any swimming, etc., but we were able to take advantage of the workout room next to the lobby. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to vacation in Galveston and would like to again rent from Valerie in the future.

  Thank you Valerie, for renting your lovely condo to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Galveston and in your condo. We have rented condos in other parts of the country, and have had to spend a few days of our holidays cleaning them, so it was a real treat to come into yours and find it so clean. Our son lives in Houston and was able to stay overnight a couple of times. We found that there was plenty of room , dishes and linens for everyone. Thank you again, and we hope to come again soon.

• Beautiful condo

  My husband and I are repeat visitors to this property and it's starting to feel like a second home. The view from the balcony is spectacular and we love just sitting out there watching the gulls and pelicans and listening to the waves. The interior is beautifully decorated and the bed is comfortable. The whole complex is very well maintained. I would recommend Bada Beach condo to any of our friends traveling to Galveston.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  Our stay at Valerie's condo was so enjoyable! We found it to be exactly as advertised on the vacation rental website...neat, extremely clean, and with all the amenities that anyone would need. The kitchen and bathroom furnishings were especially nice. The coupons for different activities, restaurant reviews, booklets with phone numbers and directions to restaurants, etc. that Val provided were so helpful to us in choosing our outings. Dealing with Valerie was a pleasure, and we would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone going to Galveston.

  Valerie, Thank you for letting me share your home away from home. I was blown away from the first minute I walked through the door -- some of my favorite things besides the comfy bed, cleanliness, orderliness, color scheme, lots of big fluffy towels, and fabulous tiling throughout was that awesome balcony where you not only saw the ocean but could hear it - and at the same time see the lights of Galveston or watch Pelicans flying in perfect V formations -- and those chairs and ottomans & wicker were nothing short of first class !! I could go on and on -- Another of my favorites was the lighting throughout the space but especially those splendid tulip lights in the living area -- just beautiful !! I like the food and water and beach and seawall but I also absolutely just love a nice place to stay when we go somewhere and We just couldn't have been happier. I hope you will be renting Bada Beach for a long time to come so I have somewhere as wonderful as your condo to stay while I am there thanks again Cindi Gholson Tx

  My husband and I recently had a wonderful stay in this condo. It was very clean and the decorations were lovely. What you see in the pictures is totally accurate. No surprises. The condo is on the 3rd floor and the balcony view of the ocean is wonderful. We loved having morning coffee (provided by Valerie) on it watching the waves come on shore. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is beautiful. So many little personal touches, we felt right at home. The kitchen is big and fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware and most anything you could need for cooking. In fact, I told my husband you could probably easily cook a big Thanksgiving Dinner in it if you were so inclined. And, the pool and hot tub were well maintained. Parking was a breeze and there are dollies available to help get your luggage to and from your car easily. This along with the elevator made settling in quick and easy. This was my first time to rent a condo for vacation and I admit I was a little nervous. But Valerie was so kind to take the time to answer all my questions. She provided me with great instructions for our arrival and hints of places we might enjoy while we were there. We would definitely book this condo again. Thank you, Valerie, for sharing your little bit of beach heaven with us.

  The condo we booked was delightful and just the right size for 2-4 people. It was far enough away from the town that it didn't have tons of people everywhere but close enough to enjoy driving to town or driving the other way to great beaches. It was well decorated and very clean and the grounds were lovely with several pools. I would recommend this to anyone.

  Valerie had a lot going on during our trip with her family, yet still managed to make this a GREAT weekend get away for my husband and I. The views were great. The property is an excellent location. The hot tub was closed for maintenance, but we didn't mind..we were busy exploring the island. The decor is my favorite...beach scenes. You have done an excellent job decorating and maintaining the property. Even has movies in the living room (we added to the collection!) Already talking about renting again in December. Want to get away again and go see all the holiday lights on the coast. Thank you again Valerie for sharing your little piece of the island with us. I worked on the island after IKE durning the clean-up with Kroger. We were one of the first on the island to service the residents, and it is amazing how the area has come back from that storm.......Rent this property.....you won't be disappointed!!!
