  We were a group of 16 adults. We decided to go in Costa Rica because it's one of my favorite place and the Villa was the perfect place to stay. The location was perfect for us, since it is near to Quepos (5 min in taxi) when we wanted to go out at night or shop during the day and at the same time near to the beach and the national park. The beach is around 10 minutes by walk from the Villa. During all our vacation, Lorenzo (the owner) gave us good advices either for the best restaurants in town, the best coffee shops and booked us different activities to make our vacation even more memorable. We did Zip lining, rafting, fishing and we visited the national park. The Villa was always clean and we felt like home. The big kitchen was perfect for our group, when cooking diner at night. I definitely recommend the VIlla! It was a magic experience!

  A group of us (10 people) came out to stay in Villa Manuel Antonio for 6 nights. First off, Lorenzo (the host) was incredibly helpful. He was always available to answer our questions and helped us plan our itinerary for the week. He gave us recommendations for restaurants (which all turned out well), daytime activities, and put us in touch with chefs/tour guides during our trip. Many locals/frequent visitors told us that Villa Manuel Antonio is the best villa in town. I can see why. It's one of the few that's close to the main road (which makes it convenient to find taxis and walk to some of the nicer restaurants in the area.) The villa itself was clean, well furnished, air conditioned, and had a phenomenal view. I don't think you can find a villa that will be much better than this one. I also can't stress how important it is to have someone like Lorenzo to point you in the right direction. Feel free to contact me if you have anymore questions.   I highly recommend Villa Manuel Antonio as a terrific place to stay while visiting the Manuel Antonio area of Costa Rica. The Villa is a rather large residential building perched near the top of a hill overlooking the ocean. The complex is gated, includes a beautiful pool with a great view, and is surrounded by a wrap-around porch complete with many hammocks. My group rented the top three floors, which was perfect for a large group. We had full privacy, and essentially the house was ours alone to enjoy. We found the house to be clean and well maintained. A housekeeper refreshed the house, bedrooms and bathrooms, on a daily basis during our stay. There was plenty of space, both indoors and outdoors – we spent a good amount of time just relaxing in the hammocks and the comfortable blue couches. We did most of our own cooking in the full kitchen or gas BBQ (we could easily obtain food and basic groceries from the local markets) and had our meals at the large table on the porch overlooking the ocean. That said, there are many restaurants within walking distance from the house, including a nice coffee shop just down the street. The location is great, many of the restaurants and shops are within walking distance, but there are taxis readily available for longer journeys. The extensive beach was about a 15 to 20 minute walk down a relatively steep road. The walk was very enjoyable, and my mother, who has had two knee replacements (essentially artificial knees), was able to do it just fine, albeit a somewhat slower pace. If she could do the walk, so can you! We spent a lot of time on the beach, but if you are going in the dry season, make sure you wear sunscreen as the sun was intense. We visited Manuel Antonio National Park, which was nice but a bit crowded, but we actually saw as much wildlife (monkeys, sloths, birds) around the house and on our walks to and from the beach as we did in the Park. Finally, the Villa’s owner, Laurent (or “Lorenzo”) was staying in another smaller building on the property while we were there. Laurent was extremely helpful in working with me to arrange our stay in advance, and during our stay, he gave us great information and recommendations about the area. For example, Laurent booked some activities for our group in advance (a peaceful sunset/snorkel cruise on a catamaran,

  This was my fifth time to Manuel Antonio and after many hours of searching the perfect location, I found it. Million dollar views, along with posh accomadations make this the best kept secret in Manuel Antonio. Minutes to the beach, restaurants, casino and the bank make this place the desirable location. Don't feel like going to the beac, hang out at the pool. The views are SPECTACULAR !!!! Stop looking and book this it's the biggest bang for your buck !!!!

  Can't say enough good things about this property and it's truly spectacular views of Manuel. We were part of a large group that came down for a wedding and the home was immaculate. Good security and very centrally located to all the Manuel had to offer. The host Laurent was extremely gracious and accommodating. He made sure that we had the inside track on what to do and where to go for local food and fun. The trip and home were very memorable and I'd highly recommend staying here!

  We were a group of 25 people. We were traveling in Costa Rica for a family reunion to villa Manuel Antonio. The location was great because everything was close from where we were. The place was very clean and the personal were very kind and helpful when we had questions about nothing and everything. We could walk to the beach and restaurants easily. The daily monkeys were visiting us every day, which made the kids very happy. We definitively recommend that place.

  We had a group of 8 who stayed at the property for 5 nights. It couldn't have been more perfect! The minute we walked into the villa, monkeys greeted us on the balcony. The view is out of this world beautiful! And there was plenty of room for all of us to have our own personal space while still enjoying one another's company. The kitchen was completely stocked with cups/plates, utensils, pots/pans. We were able to make breakfast there every morning as well as some other meals. The location of the villa couldn't be more convenient. It is right down the street from the bus stop (.50cents) and just a few minutes away from both the beach and from Quepos. Super Joseth (grocery) is just a short walk away and there are several restaurants to choose from that are very nearby. Lorenzo was extremely accommodating and very helpful. Our group cannot wait to come back and enjoy paradise in this villa again sometime soon!

  We stayed here for a family wedding with 26 of us. The facilities are great, the service was great and the owner was very helpful. From this property we saw a sloth, and several monkeys which was an added bonus. The ocean view is good and the beach is accessible. The place reflected the photos and is very well maintained. There are several great restaurants, a grocery store and a bank very close by. We would definitely come back here and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family

  We stayed for one week. Lorent is a great host but not intrusive. He helps to get you acclimated. The home is clean and beautiful and the views were amazing. We had monkeys right on our porch. Maid service was excellent. Close walk to the bus and for $.50 just a quick ride down the hill to Manuel Antonio beach. Restaurants within walking distance were terrific. I am planning on coming back next year.

  good thing I can say, our visit to Manuel Antonio was very pleasant with our stay at Villa Manuel Antonio was perferct place for all my family, a group of 12, the rooms all with AC and a beautiful view towards the beach of Manuel Antonio, a balcony around the first floor to appreciate the whole Manuel Antonio bay and each room with its balcony view of the bay and end with a visit every evening from our balcony monkeys to make a trip to remember. thanks lorenzo its owner was always there to help and inform about good places to visit and lunch. security was very good. I recommend it especially if it's a family outing or a large group of people
