IF you can complain about anything here, then stay home. this is a favorite spot that we return to over and over again...beautiful beaches, great food, great digs and great people...the owner goes out of his way to make your stay amazing. his property is perfect for as long as you want to stay. State of the art kitchen, Utensils but no spices ...bring or buy your own. Stope at the store on the way from the airport and get everything you need to cook what you want and or go out to area establishments. buy. Fresh fish on the dock in the early am and have a fab lunch or dinner....

Myself and 5 friends stayed at the condo, we all had a great time at the resort and appreciated the well kept condo. Although we spent a good deal out side, the condo was well appointed and very comfortable. We got to spend part of the day on the outdoor deck when it rained in the morning. The resort overall was very nice, clean and well kept grounds, and plenty of places to walk to along the beach. Ultimately we all had a great time and loved our stay.

Except for the last 18 hours on the island the weather was perfect! A great time was had by all, and many memories were made. New experiences were had, and old ones (Banana donuts!) were enjoyed again. We left your unit in the great shape we found it in. It seems to be very well cared for by the management. Thank you for renting to us again!

Large, modern, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 terrace condo. Very updated with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, in-unit washer/dryer, etc. Steps to pool, poolside bar/restaurant & beach, with many other bars/restaurants easily walkable down beach. Quick swim to reef for snorkeling or diving. Water taxi readily accessible. Nice vibe - not too noisy or too quiet. Met people from all over the U.S., Canada & South America. Many amazing activities to be experienced!

Well, this will be our 3rd stay in this fabulous condo, and once again, we had a great time! A couple appliances did go out on us, but Infinity Bay was right there to fix it for us, so we encountered very little inconvenience. If we needed anything at all, I'd just call the front desk & someone would arrive shortly to assist. If there's something you need in the condo, something not working properly, or just need a little tourist information, I strongly encourage you to call the front desk. In my experience, front desk staff has always been very friendly & accommodating. Speaking of the front desk, the new building is very nice & roomy with a great air conditioning system. Much better than the small office they had in the past. Our check-in & check-out process was a breeze! They also have a new buffet restaurant on the 2nd floor of the reception building. The food is pretty good, but I found it to be waaay over priced for someone like me. I just don't eat very big meals, so an expensive buffet is rarely a smart move me. However, if you have a big appetite, I suppose you might find it fairly reasonable. Oh, one more thing - Infinity Bay now includes tips on most food or drink orders!! Be sure to look at your receipt before deciding to tip. Lastly, a couple recommendations: Fishing: If you want to do some good fishing & don't want to pay top dollar, we highly recommend Arthur!! You can usually find him, or someone who knows him, at the Infinity Bay dock. The security guards also seem to know of him, as they recommended him to us. His boat is nothing fancy by any means, but he loves fishing & will get you results! We caught some amazing albacore tuna that the resort cooked up for us. It was fantastic! I really like the chefs at IB. I'm rarely disappointed with my order. Activities: I had a great time at Mayas Key Animal Rescue Park! They're located on a little island by the airport. You can interact with sea lions, nurse sharks, sting rays, crocodiles, birds & my all time favorites, the black howler monkeys!! Great for kids or anyone who loves to get up close & personal with wild life. Service: During my stay I used a company called At Your Service. They're a full service concierge business that arranged for a speedy pick up from the airport & delivery to my condo. The service also arranged to have my grocery order waiting for me upon arrival at my condo! Great time saver. Ask for Sue-Ann.

We enjoyed a beautiful week at Infinity Bay. Went snorkeling and swam with the dolphins at Anthony's Key Resort. Had great dinners at Portside in Flowers Bay and Tong's in West End, as well as Beachers on West Bay where they had great BLTs. A few rain showers during our seven days. But overall, so many wonderful experiences. Can't wait to come back. Thanks, Al!

This was our second trip to Roatan, and this place is truly phenomenal! Situated on the best beach in Roatan, my family and I were truly staying in paradise! The listing and photos provided by the owner are accurate, but don't give justice to the actual beauty and location of this condo. This was our second stay at Infinity Bay, and this condo was far more superior than the one we first stayed at. The condo is situated towards the front end of the resort- close to the large infinity pool, the palapa bar (with a swim up bar), and the beautiful West Bay Beach! You can literally dive/snorkel right in front of the resort!!!! There's nothing like it! The property was extremely clean and well cared for. The tropical decor was cheerful and relaxing. Amenities were plentiful- a full kitchen, air conditioning, drinkable water (the resort uses a filtration system), central air conditioning, fans, two bedrooms (with very comfortable beds), two bathrooms, flat screen tv, wifi, ceiling fans, and two balconies- one in front and one in the back of the condo! The owner was extremely helpful and made himself available to us if we had any problems. There was even a manual with plenty of helpful information regarding the island, local restaurants/activities, and even how to operate the TV, DVD, etc! This manual had a listing of local restaurants w/ pricing estimates, FAQ, even an estimate of distances to the local store, restaurants, and the beach (which is literally just steps away)! My family and I definitely have to recommend going to The Vintage Pearl for an extravagant night out- you WILL NOT be disappointed! Also we recommend Tong's Thai Island Cuisine (great Thai food!), and if you want a taste of the night life- head to West End on a Friday night! We also recommend ziplining, horseback riding on the beach at sunset with Shirkie, and last but not least the Dolphin Snorkel/Encounter at Anthony's Key- it provided a very memorable vacation! In the owner's manual, he provided the name and number of a local driver to take us to Anthony's Key-USE HIM! This guy was generous in his fare, and one of the safest and nicest drivers we met in Roatan, not to mention- the most fluent in English! We DEFINITELY recommend this property to friends and relatives....this exceeded our expectations for our stay, making a good vacation into a GREAT vacation! You simply cannot be disappointed with your stay at this property!

This was my 2nd stay in Allen's condo & this trip was every bit as good as the first. As usual, Allen was overly helpful & accommodating; taking every opportunity to ensure my son & I had a great experience. Mission accomplished! We certainly did. Once again, the condo had everything we needed, the staff was helpful & friendly, the weather was outstanding & the snorkeling out front was an experience we'll never forget. My son is 12 & he had a great time, so I highly recommend Infinity Bay for kids of this age (& younger/older). He liked being able to walk to the nearby stores & restaurants & REALLY loved zip-lining at South Shore Zip Line. Of course, he also loved the pool, room service, the warm sea & monkey's at Gumbalimba Park. Thanks so much, Allen, for the VERY special memories I'll always have of the great time I had in Roatan with my wonderful son, Trevor. Not to mention, the rest & relaxation I'd so desperately been needing. We'll be back!! Debi

You can't get any better than Infinity Bay in Roatán. The beach front location is privileged, the property is gorgeous, and the Condo is just as you see on the pictures only better! We were pleased to find a spacious, clean, beautiful place were we could feel just right at home, right in front of a sandy white beach & crystal blue water! The owner was helpful all the way through, staying in touch to see if there was anything we needed once we got there and making sure we got back safely after our vacation. A pleasure to work with! (Thanks for everything Allen!) We definitely plan to go back again! I only rated my stay 4 stars not because of the property but because of the timing we chose. Semana Santa is celebrated in many Latin American countries as a National Holiday so everything comes to a stop. Most businesses close from Holy Wednesday until Easter Sunday so naturally everybody flocks to the beach. I should have known better coming from a Latin American country myself! At any other time of year, the place is peaceful, quiet & relaxing. During S.S. however, the hotel has live bands that play until around 9:30 p.m. every day, and even though the windows are sound proof you can still hear the music. The beach is packed so you can only snorkel and relax if you wake up early (we went from 7:30 until around 11 a.m.) after that you can barely walk because it is extremely crowded. I did not appreciate that the Hotel sells "day passes" for pool use ($10 pp), because in the afternoon the pool was completely full. I think that they should limit the amount of day passes sold if they are already completely booked. There were so many people that they ran out of ice every day before 5pm. We managed to juggle around the crowds, and since we heard most people leave on Easter Sunday we stayed that day. What a difference! The place was once again peaceful, still a lot of guests but you could walk around without feeling crowded, you could find pool chairs, beach chairs etc. The waiters & bartenders were so overwhelmed the first days that they didn't even take your orders, we ate out every time, but once the crowds were gone, they were friendly and helpful. So to recap: Infinity Bay is the best place to stay in Roatan. If you book Allen's condo you won't feel disappointed, it is just perfect. If you are in a party mood, like loud music and enjoy being around lots of people go during Semana Santa. If you like peace & quiet, go at any other time during the year!.

We were in Roatan for one week, and had a wonderful time. We were there when Semana Santa was just getting started, so we saw the quiet relaxed Roatan, and then also witnessed the place starting to get busier. Our accomodations were perfect. We had intended to do more cooking, but once we were there, we gave up on that idea! We had too much fun going out and being waited on every night. The waiters at the resort were very accomodating to our needs, and we even made friends with them during the week. The highlights away from the resort were parasailing, snorkeling, a zip line afternoon, and definitely the dolphin experience were very worthwhile. We also took a water taxi from the resort to the West End for a few dinners. I also found my new favorite cocktail, a Monkey LaLa. We spent quite a bit of time just hanging out at the resort near the pool and thoroughly loved that. That is what vacations are for! Thanks for all your advise and help Al, and you definitely were right, only take one pair of shoes and only wear them when you have to. More than one pair is pointless. We would be happy to return and recommend your condo to others!!!

We wanted to take the time to thank you for our stay in your beautiful condo in Roatan. The location of the unit is perfect! It's just steps from the pool as well as the beach. The accommodations are wonderful for anyone. Staying in the condo allows you the option to eat meals in if you chose to. The staff at Infinity Bay is great too. We had a blast swimming with the dolphins, zip lining, snorkeling in the crystal clear waters and just relaxing pool side. It was extremely easy to make arrangements for activities at the resort. Denise was very helpful and suggested the days that would be least crowded and that worked out very nice. West End was also a trip that we took twice by water taxi. The crowd there seemed a little younger and our teenage daughter enjoyed that. Infinity Bay was gearing up for Samanta Santa and although we noticed more people by the time we were departing on Wednesday the crowds didn't seem to be much more then weekend check-in's and over all a pretty mellow crowd. I would highly recommended your condo, Infinity Bay and Roatan for a vacation destination. Thanks again for all of your assistance in our planning.

    1) Location 2) Location 3) Location 4) Beautiful pool, resort, bar etc. 5) Attentive staff 6) Luxurious and spacious accommodations 7) Safe 8) Reasonable cost (you get what you pay for) 9) Awesome tiki bar 10) It's only getting better We stayed in this condo in March and let me just say, WOW! The location is excellent (in cased you missed reasons 1-3) since the condo is located very close to the beach with a beautiful view of the water. Snorkeling the reef can be done with no more effort than swimming just off of the shore. Pretty much everything is walkable unless you want to go on a hike (wonderful, by the way) which is just a short cab ride away. Kayaking, fishing, sailing, dolphin shows and shopping are all minutes away. The resort is beautiful, especially the huge infinity pool. When a crib that we requested wasn't in our room, a phone call produced one within 10 minutes (which in Caribbean time is about 30 seconds) and included a profuse apology. The condo itself was gorgeous and probably one of the nicest non-hotel rooms that we've had in the Islands. If you were buying a home, you would look for the upgrades that this condo already has. Having a young child, we were very happy with how safe we felt throughout the resort and the entire beach area. Prices are pretty reasonable in Roatan but you certainly get what you pay for....we have stayed at another resort on a previous stay that was less expensive but the difference in cost was much less than the disparity in quality. The bar area (the "palapa" or tiki bar) has a great island feel but still functions with resort like quality (e.g. we were there during the NCAA basketball tourney and they had six flat screens going with all of the games). Finally, they are building a significant building at the end of the resort (away from the beach....we heard no construction noise while we were there) that is supposed to house a number of additional amenities. The bottom line: this condo, resort and island are all fantastic and if you're looking to escape to paradise, this is the place.

We returned from our Roatan vacation a little over a week ago and have had difficulty returning to reality after having such a fabulous time. Roatan and Infinity Bay was everything good that we had been told, read about and hoped for, plus more. Booking with Allen was a breeze, even though I was a little apprehensive sending a check for the complete rental fee (as opposed to a deposit w/ balance on arrival). Allen's travel tips that he e-mailed us were quite useful and the photos on VRBO were just as we found the condo. From the airport shuttle, to booking a dolphin encounter to needing extra pillows ....the customer service at Infinity Bay was exceptional. The grounds are immaculate and even though there is some construction taking place on the property it didn't distract from the whole experience. Allen's condo is a perfect location! As far as activities, the snorkeling was incredible. We rented our equipment for the whole week right at Infinity Bay for convenience. Being located right on the beach (takes about 1 minute to walk from the condo to the beach) you can snorkel for 10 minutes or 2 hours, whatever you desire. There is enough diversity on the reef and we snorkeled every day and never got bored. You can snorkel at other locations on the island but we were quite content to stay right at West Bay Beach. We did rent a car for 1 day to go to the grocery store and while we had it we explored a little of the island. The roads were not as challenging as we had anticipated, thankfully. West End with all of it's little shops was a fun side trip. The highlight of our trip was a dolphin encounter / snorkel at Anthony's Key which we booked right at the Infinity Bay main office. Doesn't get any easier than that! My children are ages 22, 17 and 13 and it was just an amazing experience for all of us. The encounter was cool but the 1/2 hour snorkel with the dolphins took things to the next level. We have traveled quite a bit and all 5 of us agree that Infinity Bay and Roatan was the best vacation that we've had. (Even beats our Maui vacations.) If you appreciate experiencing other cultures, beaches without high rise hotels, sun, surf and relaxation head to Infinity Bay. Just remember to slow down, be patient and tune into the pace and energy of the island. It's part of the whole relaxing experience.

Returned in 2012 because we had so much fun during our 2011 spring break visit. This particular condo is in a prime location on the property (on the second level, away from constant foot traffic and out of the direct afternoon sunlight). Snorkeled everyday, twice a day except when we were on a day-trip on other parts of the island. Fantastic time!

This is our second year in a row staying at this condo. It is perfect. Allen is the best host. The resort is beautiful and is on the best beach in all of Roatan for snorkeling. Roatan was 82degrees, no rain, no clouds, snorkeled with lots of fish 2x a day, swam in the prettiest pool ever, zip lined above the canopy and ate well. Some of the more unusual and hard to find fish we saw were: eagle ray, trunk fish, puffer, crab, lobster (the biggest one I have ever seen anywhere), lion fish. We must have seen hundreds of thousands of fish during the week, probably a hundred different varieties. Some schools were in the hundreds. Some fish were 1-3ft. Some only ½ inch. Incredible. And the coral was live, colorful and outstanding. No turtles this year, but did see them last year. Some of the meals we had were: red snapper pan fried, plantains, lobster, crab with butter, shrimp curry at an awesome Thai restaurant, grilled pork ribs (my favorite food), stewed red beans and the best tortilla soup I ever ate. Food was really good, deserts were not and ice cream sucked. Did find a new drink and I am not much for alcohol drinks … called monkey loa loa…vodka, cream de coco, baileys, kahlua blended with ice like a milk shake…this one I like. Great restaurants are: Tongs, Beso's, Vintage Pearl

We recently stayed at this condo in February. You really couldn't ask for anything more. First, the condo itself. Overall, the condo was extremely spacious, very clean and comfortable. One of our favorite amenities was the large terrace. Drinking coffee in the morning, with a beautiful view of the pool and the beach, while smelling the ocean breeze, you knew you were in paradise. When we arrived, the condo was spotless and there was a maid service that came every few days, which ensured that the condo was always spectacular. The bathrooms were beautiful and the rest of the condo (bedrooms, living room, kitchen) you felt as if you were home. Next, Infinity Bay. There is a reason they call it Infinity Bay. The infinity pool was amazing. The water was the perfect temperature and most importantly, it had a swim up bar! The poolside food was spectacular. The staff were very nice and always courteous. During our stay, there was even a beach wedding that we got to view poolside. Additionally, they are building a new welcome center, which will include a spa and a restaurant. Having that open soon will be the icing on the cake. Finally, let me tell you about the beach at Infinity Bay. It seemed that you could always get a lounge chair, no matter what time of day. That is sooo nice, since I have stayed at resorts before where you need to get up at 7am to get a spot. The ocean was just a few steps (literally, like 15) from the pool and restaurant. Once you step with one foot into the ocean, you already see the fish. If you decide to snorkel, which you should; go about 100 feet out and there is the most magnificent coral reef. You will immediately be surrounded by dozens or even a hundred fish. I have never seen snorkeling even close to this right at the front door of where you are staying. One last nice part about Infinity Bay, is the beach it sits on is about a mile long, with many other great hotels, restaurants and bars which are all walking distance within a few minutes. Our favorite restaurants were the ones at the end of the beach. I can't remember their names, but if you walk all the way to the end, there is a path and there are two restaurants (one of which you need to walk a little further down). You should also go to Fosters on Thursday, where you can get an awesome lobster dinner for $10! Roatan was beautiful, but being able to stay in this condo at Infinity Bay definitely helped make this stay feel like Luxury in Paradise. We highly recommend it.

This is the best place to stay on the best beach. The apartment has everything you could possibly want including those luxuries rarely found on tropical islands - potable water from the tap, dishwasher, garbage disposal in the sink, ducted airconditioning. We also stayed in one of the 1 bedroom apartments, but this 2 bedroom had a much larger living/dining area and huge balcony. Being on the second level meant more privacy and less mosquitos. We loved the combination of having all the amenities of home as well as a resort (great room service, amazing pool). When the spa and second restaurant are complete it will be even better, and you can't even hear the construction noise from this apartment. The owner was a pleasure to deal with, and we had a wonderful stay.

The stay at your condo was top shelf ! We had a awsome veiw from your belcony and the short walk to the beach was an enjoyable stroll by the pool and gardens. The staff was friendly and aways helpful with any questions I had. The beaches were kept racked and clean . Every picture I took of the beach and sunset could of been a postcard. The condo itself is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The information booklet you put together was very helpful and came in handy a couple of times. One of the top things I can say about your place is that we felt very safe as we walked the beach at night and as we swam an snorkled . There was always security on the beach and front entrance . Finally the snorkling right out in front of condo was the most beautiful reef I have ever seen .It is great just to swim out and enjoy the best dive area on the island and it is in our on front yard. Thank you for sharing your home with us . We could of not ask for a better experience ! Troy

We arrived at Infinity Bay Resort last Saturday. It has the most beautiful tropical plants! I have lots of pictures of just the plants, the pool the view of the ocean from the infinity pool, the swim up bar and all the staff that is so friendly. The condo was really nice! My husband and myself a good friend stayed there. My sister and brother in law owns a condo there also and they had coffee every morning with us on the condo deck. Such a great view! We bought groceries on the Island and made lunch in the condo most days. So many great and unique restuarants we had dinner out. The snorkeling at the resort is right off the beach! We saw so many beautiful colorful fish and eels and turtles. And the sunsets are incredible! I took so many pictures! Anyone that vacations at this resort will want to come back over and over again. This was our 2nd time at the resort and I would recommend it to everyone. The beach is beautiful white groomed sand that the resort staff rakes and keeps very clean! The infinity pool is amazing and awesome to swim in at night. One of the other renters next to us proposed to his girlfriend on the beach at sunset..was so romantic for them! There is a fully stocked kitchen and lots of choices of restuarants just a short walk right along the beach. You dont even have to wear shoes the entire week! Lots of fun bars with DJ's or bands to dance to along the beach and at the West End part of the Island, just a short water taxi or regular taxi drive. We rented a car for 3 days although I dont know if I would have driven the roads myself. My brother in law knows the Island and drove us to the different places. Make sure to take your camera with you where ever you go, you will not regret it! I will definitely be back! The owner of the Condo is very helpful to answer any questions and provides lots of information on how to get around on the Island! There was wireless computer network there and also an ethernet cable connection. The owner keeps his skype program open if you have further questions, however I did not take my computer with me, but our friend did and was able to keep up with emails and facebook while he was there. November is sometimes the rainy season, however we had truely beautiful weather while we were there. Just a few rain showers a couple of days, but the sun came back out after a couple of hours. I totally recommend this resort ! You will want to return over and over again!

Al, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo with us! It was the first time I left the United States and I can say, without a doubt, staying in your place made me feel very at home. The decor is wonderful, the view of the infinity pool is spectacular and being located just steps away from the pool and beach was really incredible. I noticed that I did not hear any noise from the condos above, below, or next to yours, which means they are built very well and is a huge bonus. Not having to hear every move your neighbor makes is out of the ordinary in an apartment or condo complex. Waking up every morning, sitting out on the balcony drinking coffee while pondering the hardest decision of the day........which do we go to first, the beach or the pool?..... was such a nice, welcome change of pace. I absolutely loved the fact that the water at Infinity Bay is safe to drink and there were no worries about getting sick from drinking the water at the resort. I also have to thank you for all of the information you provided us about things to do, places to go, and restaurants to visit on the island. It's always wonderful when you have guidance on things of that nature when you have never visited there before, it was greatly appreciated! Overall, I have to say, my family's trip to Roatan was a complete success because we stayed in your condo and you gave us so much information, which is above and beyond what I have ever experienced in renting a place to stay on vacation. This was relaxation at it's finest! If my family and I ever return to Roatan, we will most definitely want to stay at your place again!

This was our second trip to Roatan in six months, and our second stay at this incredible condo. The location is prime! From the balcony you have a great view of the pool and the ocean. The description was accurate and the facility very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and saves going out to eat for every meal - although there are lots of great restaurants nearby to choose from (which the owner has listed in his info book in the condo!). I would highly recommend Beso's!! The owner was extremely pleasant, accessible and helpful. All our needs were well taken care of and our questions answered promptly. The owner even changed his plans to allow my kids and I to stick to our holiday dates. Definitely a little piece of paradise.

This is a beautiful condo on a beautiful beach. We enjoyed our stay so much. Best beach & best pool around. This condo was very roomy & comfortable. Very tastefully decorated & best of all very accessible to the beach/pool. It literally took seconds for our feet to hit the beach once we left the room. We appreciated Allen’s attention to detail & dined out at a lot of his suggestions. We loved them all! We went to the Plaza grocery store & cooked breakfast & made sandwiches for lunch most days. La Palapa Bar (at Infinity Bay) was really good. Daily bar specials were fun too. We’d come off the beach, order some cocktails & watch the sun set from the pool. Other people walking on the beach would stop & look at the pool! They were jealous that their place didn’t have something so nice! We spent most of our time in the water snorkeling over the reef, enjoying the free kayaks, or laying on the beach reading & people watching. But it’s nice to come off of the beach and get in the pool. Sometimes your ready to get off the beach but not ready to go up the room. We felt very safe walking everywhere. All employees of Infinity Bay were very friendly & accommodating. We had plenty towels & coffee supplied to us by Infinity Bay. Water pressure was great, we drank the water from the faucet/refrigerator door, & we brought a laptop since we had internet access in our room to check email. The condo had dish soap & dishwashing liquid (tablets) supplied for us to use – I thought I was going to have to buy that but glad I didn’t have to. The kitchen was well equipped. We paid to use the washer & dryer. It was great to not have tons of clothes to wash when I got back home. The condo is well built & floor plan is very nice. View from the balcony was great – we enjoyed our morning coffee & ate breakfast on it most mornings. The Infinity Bay shuttle picked us up from the airport & brought us back with no problems. We took a boat taxi into West End & ate at Beso’s. More of a night life & souvenir shopping in West End. But seeing the beach at West End made us happy that we made the choice to stay at Infinity Bay where the beach is gorgeous & there is a reef right out front. We saved some money renting through VBRO. Thank you Allen for renting us your beautiful place & answering all of my questions! Overall wonderful experience.

This was our second trip to Roatan and we'll definitely be going back..... as soon as possible!! The location of this condo is fantastic; close to the beach with a pool-side balcony so you can catch the early morning sun as well as the evening breezes, all while viewing the ocean through the palm trees. The Infinity Bay staff are efficient, friendly and extremely helpful. No issues with transportation to or from the airport, rooms were cleaned regularly, and any questions were answered thoroughly and promptly. I must say the same for our travel agent, the owner of this condo. He was extremely accessible and helpful; providing us with restaurant reviews, things to do, places to snorkel, information about the condo and Roatan in general, etc. He was also very flexible and patient, as we ran into numerous 'glitches' with our travel plans!! By the way.... the snorkelling right in front of the resort is wonderful - LOTS to see. No need to book a boat!! The South Shore zip line is becoming a regular attraction for us. We highly recommend it. Completely safe, tons of fun, and the guides are very friendly. Restaurants nearby were all good to excellent. I would highly recommend Vintage Pearl - the food is worth the price! If you want sushi, it is also fabulous, but make reservations!!! The food at Infinity Bay is also excellent. Celeste's, in behind the resort is also a worthwhile stop, and very reasonably priced. And, if you wander down the beach, even if the food wasn't 5 star, the view and experience (eels at Bite on the Beach in the evening) certainly was. We did not have a 'bad' meal the entire stay!! Thank you, AJ, for making our stay so very, very enjoyable!! :o)

This condo is by far the nicest accommodations we have had at any of our vacation destinations. We definitely recommend one consider renting it. The unit is quiet, spotless, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We found the property to be exactly as represented by the owner. The information provided by him in advance was very useful in helping us plan our vacation. The swimming pool is huge and well maintained. Inifintiy Bay is centered near the middle of the 1.5 mile West Bay Beach. Snorkeling here is fantastic as the coral is but 100 feet away from shore. We viewed barracuda, spotted sea turtles, starfish, flounder, stingrays, and a variety of colorful fish. The beach area is user friendly as it is protected from the prevailing winds and the water is warm, some 85 degrees. There are many eateries along the beach. The LaPalapa Bar and Restaurant at the resort serves good food and drinks. Our favorite dinner spot was Bite-On-The-Beach, a 10 to 15 minute walk. The grilled wahoo is very good as is the seafood pasta. Be prepared here to see barracuda and eels attracted to the restaurant by lights and raw fish tossed to them. We rented a car for a day ($55) and traveled an hour west to the Jonesville area. Here we were met by a water taxi and taken to Hole-In-The-Wall restaurant for lunch. Bob and the gang serve up good food and lots of colorful stories. Be sure to take the mangrove tour ($9). Our tour guide, Clyde, kept us in stitches with stories about his youth, his family, and the history of the area. Reviews of this restaurant are all over the board. For us it was a fun filled adventure. We bought groceries on the way back in French Harbour at a modern store. Another day the four of us joined eight others on a 6-hour charter with Extreme Adventures to a series of small islands called Cayos Cochinos. Much of the area is a marine reserve and the coral is fantastic, although we saw more fish life at Infinity Bay. Our day was made when we stopped for lunch of red snapper served with the head on and prepared by the Garifuna people of Chachahuate. This is a traditional and friendly group of people who live on a very small island in grass roofed huts. Go here with an open mind and heart. South Shore Canopy Tour provided a fun 1.5 hour zipline adventure. You will see iguanas perched on the top of trees as you glide over and through the jungle on the 12 zips.

Al, We had a wonderful vacation. The beach and condo were great. The reef right at Infinity Bay is amazing. We snorkeled every day and tried many side adventures. Everybody's favorite, by far, was the dolphin swim. The dolphins really interacted with you during the free swim part. Don't forget to sign up early, if interested, as it fills fast. A good day was spent at Cayos Cochinos, but be prepared for a boat ride there. The "boys" enjoyed the Black Pearl golf course... they donated a few golf balls at the island hole! Everybody enjoyed ziplining - even hanging upside down. The sunset horseback ride was a nice way to tour West End. We took a taxi on our own to Gumbalimba Park - a friendly guinea hen walked most of the tour with us. The kids enjoyed the chance to interact with the birds and monkeys. Do this trip on a non-cruise ship day. I would recommend planning any day trips for cruise ship days (Tues - Fri) as you have the beach to yourself the other days. We recommend eating at Bite on the Beach, but sitting near the lights, near the bar end, where the eels and barracuda come out to feed. This has been our favorite tropical vacation. Nice place, friendly people, just a great place to visit. Thank you, Al! Bob, Laura & the Kids - Green Bay, WI - Go Pack!

Four of us stayed here during the first week of March, and everyone declared it to be a flawless vacation. Perfect weather, fantastic walk-in snorkeling, assorted dining opportunities (from fish&chips-on-the-beach to candlelit fine dining), and finally condo-to-doorstep activities, made it unnecessary to even rent a car. My angler husband announced the permit and bone fishing at Mango Creek Lodge to be the best he's ever experienced. Condo was clean and well cared for. The infinity pool was superb. We'll be back.

We had a great time and were thrilled with EVERYTHING! It is the best island for snorkeling…off the pristine beach, among live abundant coral, with so many species of fish. I saw turtles, eel, squid, lobster (the lion fish eluded us though) and hundreds of gorgeous fish and the BEST coral anywhere. Although I never met an island I didn’t like or haven’t snorkeled at, I absolutely love West Bay and particularly Infinity Bay condo. It was the best! I need a pool when I go on vacation, and the condo had the best I’ve been at for swimming…long, ameba, infinity pool, warm and clean. I intend to go back (which I have never said before because I figured there are so many places I have never seen). It is the perfect location! And the resort was so accommodating with it’s towels, free kayaks, coffee filters and dishwasher packets… which was very convenient and appreciated…and everything absolutely immaculate. The condo itself was large, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom and modern kitchen. All the staff were very, very friendly. The zip line at SouthShore was absolutely incredible and awesome!!!! 3 miles worth, about 9 runs, 150 ft up, 1200 ft the longest one, $55 and the 2 young guides took our cameras and took photos and movies of every run of all 4 of us! Unbelievable. Our host Allen was so attentive! He kept emailing us to make sure everything was perfect. We vacation twice a year and have to say this was one of the best Winter beach vacations.

Al, This was the perfect place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We did the zipline, snorkeled with the dolphins, rode horses on the beach at sunset, snorkeled everyday and went on a dive at turtle crossing. We had such a great time! The condo, beach water, food, people and view were all excellent. Sadly, it's time to get back to our daily grind. Thanks for all your help. Dan & Patty - OK

Fabulous Holiday Trip Infinity Bay was one of the best trips our family has had, and that's compared to a number of spots in the Caribbean. Pros: Fabulous facility only 3-4 years old, unit was immaculate (clearly owned by a bachelor), awesome beach was even better than what the photo's portrayed, wired internet access was good, the wait staff and mgmt were very friendly and attentive, food pretty good, the beach bar has 6 TV's connected to DirecTV which was great for all the bowl games, diving with Mal at Bananarama (100 yards down the beach) was very easy, safe and we saw some great scenery. Roatan is also very easy to get to with daily non-stops from Houston. Cons: On the days when the cruise ships deposit what we called "the boat people" on the beach, it became South Beach. Infinity Bay apparently sells day passes for guests to use the chairs, pool, etc. They took on WAY too much for their limited food service capabilities and we waited for lunch just under 2 hours one day. Ended up cancelling an afternoon event. (this is probably worse because of it being Christmas week and Infinity Bay will have additional kitchen facilities online in the future) Things you really want to do: 1. Go see the dolphins at Anthony's Key, especially if you have youngsters 2. If you're a diver, the Shark Dive is stunning 3. Canopy Zip Line 4. Watch the sunset every night, beautiful Ask for a menu if you go to Vintage Pearl - they offer 4-5 entrées verbally and the bill was thru the roof !!! Way too expensive for what we had. Thanks, Allen, for making your place available. We had a wonderful time and we have our fingers crossed about making a return trip next year or two. ms

We loved Al's condo. Everything's modern and very clean. New living room furniture and TV's in every room. Most places in Roatan have island cable, but IB has satellite cable bringing in programs from LA and NY. While we stayed in the West End we had a security issue, so we were very relieved to check into Al's condo, which has a lock box for valuables. And, the security team at IB is top notch, they go around the grounds including the beach area. Another big plus is drinkable tap water---not many places on Roatan have this. Also a big power generator which is needed when island power goes off. Al left great information in the unit to help visitors find their way around. We enjoyed many good restaurants within walking distance of IB: Vintage Island Pearl, Sushi Grill, Bite on the Beach, and San Simon Beach Club. For lunch Mangiamo's and Celeste's are both 2 minutes from the back of IB. I think IB is the best for all these reasons; and, mainly due to the great pool and beach right at your doorstep. The coral reef is 20 yards from the shore and snorkeling there is the best. Al was very helpful with his information. He emailed us a FAQ document that answered almost all my questions before we left for Roatan. The other questions Al answered by email and on the telephone. Glad we had a chance to meet Al at IB to put a face with the guy who had given us so much help. We plan to stay in IB again, and only hope Al's place is available when we book our next trip.

This was our second trip to Roatan. The snorkeling, offshore, some of the best. We saw different fish everyday. The eels at "Bite on the Beach" were great to watch - the grilled lobster tasty and affordable. The "Island Pearl" has great food and is perfect for a special occasion. The stay at Infinity Bay made the trip even more memorable. We are all ready planning next year's vacation. Thanks for letting us borrow your "one of a kind" retreat. Ft. Collins, Co.

Enjoyed our time here! The Infinity Bay property itself was clean, well cared for and the beach bar staff were accommodating and kind to the children. We felt the best snorkeling was right outside our door and the condo's location proved very convenient when visiting Penelope's Island Emporium at nearby West Bay Mall, which we also recommend for fine jewelry and gifts. A special thank you to our host who worked hard to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We greatly appreciated the efforts. Will recommend - Thanks again! Mesa, Az.

My husband and I and our two children stayed in Allen's condo and it was exactly as he stated it would be. Beautiful! We could sit on the balcony and watch our children swim in the pool, eat at the restaurant, and build sand castles on the beach. The condo had everything we needed to cook and live there for a week. The maids were a nice touch! Not only was the condo and the resort amazing, but Allen gives you much more information to help you with your stay. From how to use a water taxi or land taxi, to where to shop and how to keep safe on the island. The condo has a safe that you program yourself, but we felt very safe there, and had an amazing time. We para sailed, rented jet skis, swam with dolphins, zip lined above the canopy, toured the island by taxi and snorkled right off the beach. We also hired a boat for the day to take us to snorkle a wreck and to go shopping and to dinner. All, right off the beach. There were jumpy things in the water for our kids and a dock farther down the beach for them to jump off with the locals. We saw fire dancers at the Thirsty Turtle right next door. (order the local plate .. it is cheap, and so so good, and comes out quick) and danced and did the limbo at night with our kids too. All very family friendly and fun.

We just had our wedding at Infinity Bay and rented this particular room for my husband's family. They LOVED it!!!! The owner is so easy to work with to get everything set-up. The resort is breathtaking. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. These rooms are first class and the view from this balcony is amazing! The restaurant and bar staff are amazing as well. We were so sad to leave but will definitely be back!

This condo is beautiful! It's large, modern, clean and overlooks the infiniti pool. The Infiniti Bay Resort facilities are great and the staff was extremely friendly. The beach in front of the resort is by far the best beach in Roatan! Unbelievable snorkling and scuba diving in crystal clear water right off the beach! I highly recommend staying here if you're going to Roatan!
