I was a fruit farmer in Northern Italy when I bought Villa Buoninsegna in 1988: a 17th century manor house, surrounded by a small village and old vineyards that produced Sangiovese and Trebbiano grapes. I decided to give a more creative touch to the wine growing introducing Cabernet, Merlot and Shiraz to create together with the Sangiovese grape IGT wines that by now have given me a lot of satisfaction. The olive groves were improved as well. In 1995 I started renovating the buildings of the property. The property is divided into 3 buildings: 1 building for Le Casce unit. 1 building for the units: Colombaia, Podere Goito, Vinsantaia, Limonaia. 1 building (the main villa) that includes: the restaurant, La Casina Buoninsegna and villa Buoninsegna. <b>At guests' disposal:</b> Small Pool 5mx10m deep from 1,40m to 2m open from 1/5 to 30/9 large pool 7mx14m deep 1,50m open from half May until 30/9 Restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
