  What a great time! Your place was magnificent and a perfect gathering place for the whole family - all 11 of us! Which was exactly what we were looking for! The location made it so easy for the 4 Grandkids (ages 5 and under) to get from their place to "home base", and all other areas of the property. The place was so very well stocked, we lacked for nothing - beach items, cleaning supplies, towels, so very well equipped kitchen, on and on. The lawn and lanai area were fully utilized. From yoga class to toddler paradise to "tiki" bar to best BBQ spot on the island. And last but certainly not least, the property management team were the perfect concierges - top notch! Mahalo from the 11 f us. Our memories made here will be told and retold for years to come. Priceless!

  My husband always told me that I'm a high maintenance princess (he's right...), but this condo exceeded my expectations. We have traveled all around the world, and I must say that this is one of the best places we have stayed at. The pictures do not do it justice. Owner is wonderful to work with. We'll definitely be staying there when we visit Maui again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  This condo will be our familie's new vacation home. The pictures show the condo perfectly. The lanai was great, especially with children because they had their own front lawn to play on separate from the other grass areas. We walked to the Maui Fish Market every day and got fresh fish to cook on the outdoor grill. The resort itself is well manicured and all the staff were very nice. One thing I was a little concerned about was the ocean view from a ground floor unit. We were happy to see that the building is elevated enough to get a great view from the lanai. Dukes restaurant is very classy and conveniently located, and is about a two minute walk from the unit. One thing we suggest is valet parking. If you drive to the grocery store across the street, valet will park your car for you and bring your groceries to your unit. Our family of four's vacation at Honua Kai was our favorite so far, and we can't wait to go back.

  Wow!!! This condo is a 5 star plus. Hats off to the owners of this condo. I was in contact with them several times before our stay. I found them to be very honest, friendly and helpful. Our stay here was more than we expected. An awesome view, great location, kitchen well supplied, very spacious & photos on the web are very true to what you get. This is by far the nicest resort on the Kaanapali beach.

  This unit at the Honua kai is absolutely perfect. The location on the ground floor corner with a view of the pools, ocean and grounds is everything you expect in Hawaii. The house was clean, well furnished and perfect for 4 people. The beds, kitchen and living area were spacious, well-appointed and new. This unit is on my list of repeats!

  We loved our stay in this beautiful condo. The high ceilings, granite, kitchen-facing living room, the pool and the ocean were just spectacular. We don't cook often on these type of vacations, but we were inspired to make several dinners, and we always used the grill and ate at the outside table. Being able to walk out the lanai to the pool, ocean, or Aina's market (great stuff, if pricy), really differentiated the unit. The lanai was fantastic - we had the doors open much of the time, and the weather was delightful. Also, providing the beach chairs, cooler, and well stocked kitchen (Hinkel knives!) was extremely helpful. We loved the pillows too - very comfortable beds! We snorkeled right off the beach. There weren't a lot of people using the beach, the pool was more popular (but the pool wasn't too crowded at all). I'd say sitting or swimming at the beach was not a big part of this resort's experience, but the views, sunsets, snorkeling, and walks were amazing! The property was an excellent home base to explore Maui. We went to 5 different beaches in 7 days, but didn't need to. The resort was so comfortable! We would love to stay again!

  My husband and our two sons just returned from Maui. I must say that this was our best vacation yet. The condo was simply beautiful. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Every imaginable amenity was included with the condo. Our boys enjoyed the easy access to the pools and beach, not the mention the beach toys, boogie boards, towels and beach chairs provided in the unit. Having a private grill was definitely worth it. My husband enjoyed the convenience of being able to grill quick lunches and gourmet dinners on the patio. The iPod docking station/sound system was amazing. Truely a fantastic vacation. We can't wait to return.

  Our family celebrated three graduations with a trip to Maui. Staying at this beautiful condo was the best part of the trip...its gorgeous, spacious, and offers splendid views of the grounds and the ocean. It's conveniently located on the bottom floor with easy access to numerous pools and the beach. We believe it is the best condo on the property. Our children are already planning our next vacation here, when they graduate again in four years. Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy your beautiful property. We had a wonderful experience.

  We are a family of 4 that stayed at this beautiful condo. Loved every minute of it and highly recommend it. I won't repeat what everyone else is saying except to say that all the great things they say are true. If you are at all worried about privacy because of the ground floor then dont. There is plenty of privacy and all the advantages of the ground floor unit are worth it. We are looking forward to returning.

  Our family of 5 just got home from an amazing stay in Maui...Let me begin by mentioning that the pictures do not do this property justice!! The view is absolutely breathtaking. The fold up doors in the living room let you enjoy an ocean view as you cook or play in the kitchen/great room area. The BBQ was priceless and the grassy area really let you forget you were in a high rise. I almost felt bad for the people who had a tiny glassed in terrace. My teenagers loved sitting outside and reading and my son enjoyed playing catch with my husband while he was grilling dinner. Although there are many great places to eat it can be expensive....we found a great grocery store that sold boars head deli meat as well as other fresh cuts and seafood down near front street. It was great and definitely saved us money. It was also soooo nice to have beach towels provided for our use, all the laundry soap and other supplies (T.P., soap, shampoo, dish soap, etc.) we needed for our stay as well as chairs, coolers, rafts etc. We were each able to take only a carry on piece of luggage for a ten day stay and just wash our clothes as needed....it was great!! We took a trilogy excursion to Lanai (sp) for the day and had a snuba adventure which was well worth the money. The Luau at the Westin was ok, we booked it because we could pay for priority seating since I did not know it was something that was recommended to do months in advance. However, I think the Old Lahina Luau would have been better but you have to book it at least 6 months out. We found an amazing bookstore across from the banyan tree which was the friends of Maui Library bookstore (up the stairs)....amazing finds and the nicest people volunteering!! We did go to the legendary mamas fish house....the view was worth every penny but the Lahina Grill was by far the best meal we had on out trip...try the pearlicious(sp?) martini....We did get to experience the bamboo forest, waterfalls and the crater....all very cool. We also loved learning about the silversword plant. My 13 year old learned to surf which was the highlight of his trip. He had three days of private lessons which were amazing....The resort was beautiful, and Dukes and the market were very convenient. The owners were always very prompt and attentive in answering questions and following up and the company that helps them with renters was fabulous...Can't say enough good things. We highly recommend and are sooo grateful we were able to stay
