Wine tasting abounds in the heart of wine country. Bayview has 2 oversized bedrooms with queen beds and all of the amenities of home!!
Nearby attractions include Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Leelanau Sands Casino, and the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Sprinkled throughout Leelanau County you will discover charming villages, wineries, antique dealers, and outdoor recreational opportunities, including access to Lake Michigan. Traverse City is just 20 minutes away, offering 'city style' entertainment for those so inclined.

Our vacation at the Bayview Cottage in Suttons Bay was everything and more than we hoped it would be. The proximity to the park and beach were perfect for the young grand kids ages 3 to 10. The shallow water made us feel safe and the kids could not have had a better time. The cottage was very accommodating and comfortable. We felt very much at home there. In our short stay we were able to enjoy Leeland and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Not to mention all the stores and restaurants in Suttons Bay and many of the stores in Traverse City. We will try to make it again next year but for a longer stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My stay at the Suttons Bay Cottage during July 14th thru July 21st was truly my most enjoyable vacation. Not knowing for sure what would be available at the cottage and what I needed to bring...I way over packed! The kitchen was complete, with everything needed for a meal in. Our group included 2 very small children and adults through age 82 years and the cottage was perfect. 5 stars to the owners for making our stay enjoyable. The most beautiful place I have ever visited, we hope to come again. There is so much to see and do.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.
