My family had the best weekend staying at Ritz Pelican, we are definitely coming back to this beautiful beach town home! It's a really cozy place with all the amenities; bbq grill, plasma tvs, huge mattresses, full bathrooms and most important; a full kitchen including utensils! Words cannot express how much we loved staying at this town home and how well equipped, organized and clean they keep it!

My wife and I had a wonderful time. It was just what we needed. We finally had time to get away, relax, and enjoy each others company. The view was beautiful in every room! We can not wait to go back!

The layout of the rental good, bed very nice, washer/dryer greatly appreciated, location just what we wanted however lack of general maintainance. Took two days of phone calls to get internet working and advertises dishwasher and it had not worked in a very longtime so washed dishes for our whole stay. Light bulbs burnt out and no immediate response to our calls. Took seven days to get maintainace to do anything Would not recommend.

When my wife and I arrived we were very impressed with the condition of the porperty. It was very clean, decorated beautifully and the furnishings were very comfortable. Also, we were pleased at the size of the TVs in all of the rooms. It was an added bonus to have your own private walkway to the beach. There is so much to do, rent a golf cart, kayak, parasail, fish or just hang out and enjoy the beautiful clean beaches. We would never hesitate to visit the property again or recommend it to our friends and relatives. Infact, we have already recommended it.

We had never heard of Surfside Beach, but blindly booked the Ritz Pelican for our summer vacation destination. Could not have been more pleased! We didn't leave the island for the entire stay. You can't be any closer to the beach, and the beach itself was super clean and inviting. The unit had great 3rd level views of the gulf and bays behind the property. Great kayak fishing in the bays, as well. Will definitely book again!

My family has been coming down to Surfside from Katy, TX for years. We absolutely loved our stay at the Ritz Pelican. It sits right on the beach with a lovely walkover and private deck. The owners take great pride in their properties and are so easy to deal with. We have made it a family tradition to go each July and spend a week at Surfside. The fishing is great and groceries are nearby in Clute. You cannot go wrong spending time here. The property is just as described with a nice covered area for your vehicle.

This beach home, was everything that it promised. You cacn't put a price tag on the private walk over with a deck at the end. We kept all our sand castle gear there. The FOUR balconies were heaven. We loved the below deck showers so no sand made it in the house. Even though the other units were rented out the week we were there, we didn't hear a thing. The sattelite tv was a great way for the kids to wind down, the beds were comfy! If you need the blow up mattress, you'll need to bring your own linens for that. The kids said it was comfy too and it's electric so it was real easy to put up each night and take down in the morning, We also appreciated getting the key in the mail so there wasn't any checking in. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We will be back next year!

We stayed here in June 2011 and it was wonderful. The house was so inviting and clean, the kitchen was well stocked with all the pans and stuff that we would need to cook with and the views were amazing,can't wait to go again, this was our first time staying in Surfside and aside from the seaweed our first experience was great. Stephanie from Corona Del Mar beach properties was amazing to work with and was always quick at responding to any questions we had.

I highly recommend The Ritz Pelican. The property was great with plenty of room. My 3 kids had a blast and to this day want to go back. They truly enjoyed meeting some of the locals and not to mention the beach. The property sits right in front with plenty of clean beachfront for our family to enjoy. To this day, my 3 year old keeps telling me that she wants to go to our other house the one with all the sand and water, lol!!!! It was spectacular waking up early to witness in awe the sunrise. I truly enjoyed just having a great family time together and not on the couch and TV (eventhough is there for your enjoyment). The deck extends all the way up to the beach with an area to relax or just sit and watch the kids play in the sand. The townhome was in excellent condition with all amenities that you could think of. We did everything from fishing to crabbing across the road but we just enjoyed waking up and opening up the curtains for that magnificent ocean view.

Our family enjoyed our recent stay at the Pelican Ritz over the Thanksgiving break. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed many strolls on the beach since it was unusually warm for this time of the year. The view from the Living Room was spectacular, every day of our stay. We even enjoyed a sunrise, right outside our master bedroom window! The vacation home was neat and more than adequate for our needs. I would recommend bringing plenty of bottled water. We were used to our city water which we drink from the tap, so we found the water at the cottage nasty. But we were forewarned - just didn't take it too seriously! Fortunately, it was easy to find a Walmart to stock up for the rest of our stay.

My family and I loved staying at "The Ritz Pelican". The website pictures are EXACTLY what's in store for you when you arrive. The only thing missing is the wonderful sound of the ocean and quiet solitude at twilight/dusk. Sit on your private deck to enjoy an amazing sunrise/sunset. We brought along a shade cover and left it up on the beach directly in front of The Ritz Pelican throughout our weekend. Perfect ending to another fun summer! We are the newest members of the Surfside Fan Club...love it and the condo. Much thanks to the Wilhelm's for opening up their lovely condo for others to enjoy! Looking forward to a return visit one day......

We had a very enjoyable experience in this wonderful townhome. Very clean and fresh upon arrival. Breathtaking views and right on the water! Loved sitting on the lower balcony in the am drinking coffee and watching the sun come up. Nice waves while we were there and the grandkids loved boogy boarding. Nicely equiped kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, coffee pot, blender, etc. The outside shower on the back porch and below were great to wash off the sand before going inside. A wonderful experience and we will be back!!!

My Father's Day weekend with family at the Ritz Pelican was a special time I will always remember.The Beach House was everything you see in the pictures and more. Quality furnishings, well equipped, big screen tv's in every room and the most comfortable beds ever! We walked right on to the beach from the house and enjoyed the surf and sun. After spending half a day in Galveston seeing the sights and having lunch at the the Rainforest Cafe we returned to spend time at the beach and do home cooking. It was a great time and highly recommended!

My Husband and I stayed at The Ritz Pelican over Memorial Day weekend. We had such a lovely, romantic, and relaxing time. The condo has an amazing view of the ocean from the living room and master bedroom balcony. There is also a private walkover from the condo to the beach that was very convinient. In addition, the condo was well decorated and comfortable. I would definately recommend The Ritz Pelican to anyone looking for a weekend getaway, or some fun in the sun!!!

Beautiful accommodations! My personal favorite is the long private walkway that ends with a spacious elevated sitting area. Great area for relaxing and enjoying the view! The home itself is well furnished and very comfortable. My fiance loved the master bedroom's view of the ocean! Thanks for everything - we will definitely plan to stay there again.

My family and I love staying at this beachfront townhome. It's clean and beautifully decorated with wonderful views. It's a great place to relax indoors or out. We especially like the big deck at the end of the dune walkover. Surfside Beach still seems to be a Texas secret since it's not crowded and overdeveloped like other places. Other activies we enjoy at Surfside: boogie boarding, surfing, swimming, fishing, frisbee, and watching the graceful brown pelicans and dolphins.
