Lively Organic Farm is a small working farm nestled in a semi-rural quiet neighborhood, with lush gardens and orchards. We are located 8 miles from downtown Eugene and 1/2 blk. from the bus stop. Our guest cottage has a full bath and fully equipped kitchen, which is stocked with the makings for a healthy breakfast - fresh organic fruits and vegetables from our farm, as well as other local delights.
Prepare these at your leisure and enjoy breakfast on the patio or in the dining area. The second story is an open loft with two beds that can sleep up to four persons. The loft also has a TV, DVD Library, Stereo, CD player.
Relax and enjoy a stroll in the garden, learn about organic farming practices, visit our art studio, indulge in a massage (by pre arranged appt.), or enjoy the warmth of a roaring campfire. These are just a few things to enjoy while staying at our farm...even more pleasures can be found when you head out and explore all the wonderful activities Lane County and the surrounding areas have to offer.

Megas was so friendly. :) She gave me a tour of her artistic cottage and got me all settled in when I arrived from my long road trip. She was kind enough to leave some organic food (a fridge full of goodies plus great hot teas!) so that I could make some simple meals while I was there. I slept so well in my pick of the two beds upstairs. It was a quiet neighborhood and the perfect place to stay for my day trip to the Wildlife Safari in Winston, OR. Highly recommend.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway.

We found the accomodations to be extremely comfortable. The art that has been selected creates a truly unique atmosphere. We found the surroundings to be peaceful and our host/hostess to be gracious and helpful. The supply of fresh organic products for breakfast in the morning have inspired me to embrace a more healthy lifestyle upon my return home. We would highly recommend this vacation rental for anyone who is visiting the Eugene area and is seeking an experience that far surpasses the traditional hotel room!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.

This is a lovely, clean, quiet and healthy place to stay. Each time I have stayed here, I have gone away feeling relaxed and refreshed. The beds are comfortable, the TV area is stocked with DVDs and books, the bathroom serves its purpose with plush towels/washcloths and the abundant amount of food Megas provides is in the fully functioning kitchen is organic or local grown and very delicious! The yard is there for you to explore along with a fire pit. The peaceful scene can be viewed from the windows upstairs in the bedroom area and makes the place feel like it is a modernized tree house. Beyond the accommodations, Megas and Tom are wonderful hosts and you will feel like family before you leave! I would recommend this cottage to anyone unless they cannot navigate a staircase.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.
