This house was perfect for a long weekend at the beach. I stayed with a big group of friends (10 total) and we had plenty of room for everyone. The location is excellent. I think we used a car once or twice for grocery runs, but everything else was within walking distance. The beach is right across the street. There's a Waffle House and BBQ Shack next door. And you can see Florabama from the front door. Ashley was very accommodating and available through phone and email throughout the entire booking process. The house was very clean and seemed to be in great shape. Beds are comfortable. The view from the balcony was gorgeous. The grill and outdoor seating made for nice, leisurely dinners. I couldn't have been happier with the house! I would rent it again in a second.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

While we usually rent on the beach, this year, we decided to steer clear of the oil and stay across from the beach on the bay side. This was the right move. I no longer want to be on the beach again. Sitting on a balcony watching the sunset over the waterways and passing boats is relaxing. This gated community offers a peaceful stay that is just a short walk from the beach. The owner was a great renter and was very accommodating. The house's setup provided a spacious floor plan with quiet and comfortable bedrooms. We brought a boat and used the dock out back. It was perfect. If you don't have a boat, you can rent one next door and take a trip around the calm and beautiful waterways surrounding the property. Definitely a great stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We have 3 boys and we love the beach and especially fishing. We have always wanted a house in the Orange Beach, Perdido Key area. Every room has a view. Nature is all around. It's an escape to paradise every time we're there.
