Boat, swim, and relax in beautiful home on canal in Lauderdale by the Sea. Large living room that walks out to Florida room with built in wet bar. Wonderful to sit and sip wine as you watch the waves and birds in the backyard! Large kitchen, dining room,and bath off kitchen. Three large bedrooms. Master bedroom has full bath and there is also a full main bath. Keep your car in the double garage out of the hot sun. Fish off the dock or hop on your boat and cruise the waterways and ocean at your leisure. Very short walk to the beach or to Sea Watch,one of the beast seafood restaurants in the area. Close to shopping, restaurants, ocean, making your vacation relaxing and enjoyable. Heated pool will be installed by canal in October of 2012.

We stayed for 4 weeks, from August 4 to September 1, 2012. We absolutely did not want to leave. The house is spacious, with three large bedrooms and 2.5 baths. We were attracted to this rental on VRBO due to the dock availability, as we are avid boaters and divers. We docked our 30' Cabin Cruiser here in the backyard, and since the location of this property is literally only a few hundred yards to the ICW, we were out into the ocean in less than 1/2 an hour. The reef system which runs from the Hillsboro Inlet area south, is a wonderful place to dive or fish, and we enjoyed it all immensely. The owners are wonderful with quick responses on all questions and strive to meet every expectation for the vacationing renter(s). We traveled with our Keurig coffee maker because we're hooked, but we didn't need to unpack it because there is one in the kitchen, along with the other style coffee maker if you don't want to get hooked like we did... My point is, the owners have thought of everything. The Sea Watch restaurant is about 2 blocks away, so gourment dining with terrific ocean views are readily available (reservations would be wise as they are usually busy). We also walked down to the Aruba Beach Cafe (quite a walk, but very enjoyable under the full moon with cooling ocean breezes). The boat allowed us to frequent some of the waterfront restaurants on the ICW as well, and there's always parking! The owners just added this Gem to their portfolio, but we are definitely going to return to this wonderful home - for at least another month.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
