Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: We are an active couple in our early sixties who love the outdoors, and especially Lake Tahoe.
Why the Owner Chose Homewood: Lake Tahoe has been a favorite destination for both of us since we were children. Our families frequented the West Shore and local ski areas and we continued to bring our own three children up for skiing, boating, hiking and generally hanging out at the lake.
This property spoke to us the moment we entered because of it's comfortable layout, sunny exposure both winter and summer, and the proximity to the beach, bike trail, and hiking in the forest behind the cabin.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin: Location! A five minute walk to Chambers Public Beach with our wagon filled with beach chairs, towels, and a picnic in tow or with our kayaks ready for a paddle to Emerald Bay. The large deck off the back overlooking forested open space. Riding our our driveway to connect with either the paved bike trail or up into the forest for mountain biking. A five minute drive or shuttle ride to Homewood Ski Resort, snowshoeing out the back door into the National Forest.
Comfortable and cozy inside.
