3 BR/2.5BA spacious remodeled home in Pleasure Point, walking distance to the beach and just quick bike ride to Capitola Village, The Yacht Harbor, and downtown Santa Cruz (cruiser bikes included!). Our home is located 2 blocks away from the ocean with pet friendly beach access and world class surfing at the end of our street.
Our home features hardwood floors throughout, updated appliances, and a real wood fireplace. The house sits on a large lot with an enclosed sunny front yard where you can sit and drink your morning coffee on our front porch. The luscious and spacious private back yard includes a large deck, gazebo with a fire pit, 3 person private hot tub, newer propane bbq, propane heater lamp, vegetable garden, and fruit trees. Indoors you’ll find wireless internet access and flatscreen HD TV throughout, as well Blue Ray/DVD players for each TV. Let’s not forget complete surround sound Xbox 360, Playstation 3 for the kids (and adults). Our fully stocked gourmet kitchen with 6 burner stove and all new stainless appliances makes for creating a fantastic after beach meal. You can also find fresh farmer’s market vegetables down the street on Sunday mornings. Master Bedroom has a queen size bed with over-sized bathtub including a double headed shower. Bedroom #2 has a queen size trundle bed with full bath (shower). Bedroom #3 has queen size futon bed and office desk with TV/monitor, printer and conference call center (in case you have to do a little work during your vacation).
Our beach house also includes beach cruiser and an assortment of beach toys (surfboards, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc) to make your stay at the beach as enjoyable as possible.
** Please note that our neighbors for the most part are all permanent residents, and although they are extremely friendly and nice, if you are looking for a beach party house, this is probably is not the house for your vacation. However, if you are looking for a relaxing vacation at the beach with all the comforts of home, this just the right place for you.

We loved the house it fit our needs perfectly. The only reason for 4 stars vs. 5 is that there is no washer and dryer. There are plenty of laundomats near by so not a huge issue but without it I can't say it's perfect. We really loved the location. Right near a surfing school for our kids to learn to surf. Right near restaurants and great laces to walk our dog. Both within walking distance. We would absolutely rent it again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

I Loved everything about it, well located in the city, excellent for surf. hot tub. boardwalk, restaurants, real fun.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This house is perfect for families that love the beach but don't want to spend all day there. It has a great backyard, with enough room for the kids, a place to eat outdoors, and a hot tub. Of course, it's also close enough to a few beaches to walk and close to the restaurants at pleasure point.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, families with young children.

About the owner: We have been living in Santa Cruz for the over 25 years. As an educator I enjoy having the summer's free to travel and visit other countries and cultures. Luckily my husband's job is flexible enough to allow us to travel which allows us to open up our home for your vacation. We hope you enjoy it here as much as we do!
