Property description

This is an adorable and fully independent stand alone apartment above a non-used garage (so there are a few steps to get up to it). There are trees all around it. Looking out the numerous windows one gets the feeling of living in a nest like a bird. There are several active bird nests in Spring and Summer right outside on the porches. It's one block off famous Mt. Vernon Street and the Victorian homes. Senator Highway (the main road out to the Bradshaw mountains and the pines) is right down the same street. It's an easy 5-10 minute walk to historical downtown Prescott and all its fun activities, music, coffee shops, antique shops, restaurants and bars.
The owwner has lived in Prescott 40 years and lives in the main house up front right on Goodwin street. She is available to meet any needs you might have and answer just about any questions about the area. She is also dog friendly and there's an area for a dog to do his business as well. It is located in a residential/rental neighborhood known as the Joslin/Whipple Historical district. The main house is a little cottage bungalow style built in about 1924 and she added this little stand alone apartment about 5 years ago.

Great backroad/backcountry exploring in the Bradshaw mountains and all around Prescott, actually. A YMCA and Yavapai College right here in town and the local library is 3 short blocks away. There's a coffee bar in the library as well.

About the owner: I am a nurse in Prescott and work part time at the local hospital, YRMC. I have one dog and one cat and have lived in Prescott since 1974 when I graduated from high school. I'd spent summers up here as a kid in Groom Creek since I was about 11 years old. My sister and her husband rent our old family cabin in Groom Creek out through VRBO, also.

The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
I personally love living in the heart of historical downtown Prescott and never tire of my leisurely strolls to the courthouse area for early AM coffee, or to listen to one of the many summer concerts on 'the square' or at a local music hotspot. I've traveled a bit in my time and have never found a place I'd rather live. Great year round relaxing and good clean fun.
