Located 50 miles north of New York City in the Hudson Valley village of Central Valley, NY (Town of Woodbury, Orange County). This home is close to many cultural/historic amenities, including the Storm King Art Center (major outdoor sculpture park), DIA: Beacon (restored warehouses converted to large-format modern art museum), West Point Military Academy, Washington’s headquarters, and the many historic features of Hudson River Valley. Excellent hiking trails, road and mountain biking, state parks and and nature preserves.
House is set back from the road on 1.5 landscaped acres in a village setting. Just a two minute walk to library, post office, small grocery, bagel shop and restaurants. Express bus stop to Manhattan is only a 2 minute walk, with multiple departures throughout the day in both directions. One mile from the Woodbury Commons Shopping Outlets. 10 minute drive to Harriman train station.

About the owner: I'm a professor at Columbia University in Manhattan, and commute daily by bus. I love the area for the great biking, hiking and fishing. Others come for the shopping.
