This was my first time renting an apartment online, so I was a bit nervous. But it turned out to be perfect and glitch-free. The apartment was very clean, the kitchen very modern, everything worked. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything including the hotel our conference was held at (but this was a lot cheaper!). It was a pleasure to come back to a homely apartment in a building with security. Really nothing negative to say! I will come back next time!

Heart of the Gaslamp District....you don't need a car!

We did rent a car at the airport, but found out that we would have been better off taking a taxi. Everything was within walking distance to this wonderful condo. We walked to the hotel where my seminars were located, and walked all over the district for restaurants. We came in on Saturday night, finding that this is NOT the time to be driving through the Gaslamp, as the pedestrian traffic and one-way street design is not exactly friendly for those searching for their condo or parking, but it was all good once we got parked. The streets were filled with people looking for a place to eat, drink, or talk. The restaurants line the streets, with their hosts welcoming anyone who stops to read the menus. The condo itself is a welcoming, clean, well-ordered hide-a-way, with ample windows to let in the crisp air of San Diego. There are ample condiments for cooking, and a washer and dryer for your use. The area is quiet, even when festivals are going on down the street. A Ralph's Grocery store is within walking distance, and a mini-market (Cine) is just down the street. We felt safe in the locked building, and appreciated the parking provided, as there would have been no place for our car without it. A restaurant for breakfast is just around the corner, if you don't want to cook. Petco Park is just a fast pitch away....you can see it from the door of the building. We would definitely rent this condo again, if we should be so lucky as to be in San Diego. Scott, thanks for sharing your lovely home.

We couldn't have picked a better location for the things we wanted to do in San Diego. The listing description and photos are accurate and we are very pleased to recommend this condo to future visitors to San Diego. Thanks to Scott for responding quickly to our questions. Tip - if you arrive late and it is dark, the lock box is hard to see without a light.

The pictures definitely do not do the place justice. Well-kept, modern, beautiful layout, and a great balcony view. Full supply of dining utensils and toiletries. Location was perfect; 2 blocks away from practically everything. Directions were very straightforward, and there were no hitches regarding parking spot, keys, or getting into the building. If I'm ever in the area again, this is the first place I'll look at for accommodation. Thanks again Scott!

I could not be happier with this condo! Pictures do not do it justice. I stayed here for 9 nights for a conference at the convention center and then a family vacation. It was ideal for the conference, literally a 2 minute walk or less, so it is ridiculous to stay in a hotel and pay their rates when you can have this fabulous condo. It was spacious, clean, equipped with everything you need and the most perfect location in the Gaslamp I could imagine. The best thing for me was how quiet it was. In a hotel you hear every person that walks down the hall or opens their door or flushes their toilet. this place was sound proof once I shut the windows at night. Pair that with a comfortable bed and I had the most restful sleep in years. The owner was very easy to work with and immediately responded to any questions. While at the conference I recommended this condo to several people and definately hope to have the chance to stay in it again myself.

Clean, Comfortable, and Modern Unit

We loved this clean, comfortable unit. It is in a perfect location near the Convention Center as well as near many good restaurants. The owner is very efficient, organized, and has good attention-to-detail. All the little things in the condo are carefully planned and made for a very comfortable stay, even for young children (furniture, spices, brochures, magazines...). The balcony is very relaxing. The washer/dryer is very useful. We had a very pleasant time and enjoyed this clean, modern unit very much and would definitely stay in it again.

This condo is perfectly situated for sightseeing, restaurants and nightlife all in the GasLamp district. My family and I were attending a convention and staying here made it easier for us as it was only 1 block away from the center. The owner made sure we had all the amenities offered, always sent very detailed info during/after the rental procedure and was available via text during our stay in case we needed anything. The condo itself was well maintained, clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The use of the kitchen and the included parking spot worked wonderful for us. I highly recommend this property and I would rent it again myself. Believe it or not the small cafe inside the nearby Hilton GasLamp hotel has the best coffee!

Had a great time staying at the condo in the Gaslamp area, Scott was a pleasure to deal with and answered any questions that came up right away. The condo was very comfortable and nice and clean. So many things to do and see within walking distance but the parking spot which was included in the rental was a huge plus. I would definitley recommend this condo to enhance your San Diego experience!!

I cannot say enough about this Condo. It came as stated. CLEAN, NEAT, ideal for two or three people. The floor plan was just as it was pictured and had the feel of a very nice upscale hotel, except there was more peace and quiet. Great bedroom(nice kingsize bed), spotless bathroom with more towels and washcloths than you could use in a week. Wifi connection was easy and fast. When we walked out of the building each day you could see the ballpark to your left and the Convention center was right up the block. More places to eat on both sides of 5th Street and plenty of people having a good time. I was struck by the number of family groups enjoying the Gaslamp. My two favorite places were the Broken Yoke And The Cheese Shop. I hope to make in back next year and hope this condo is available.

right in the heart of where you want to be . Owner had very explicit directions to all your needs. accomodations were great, Including all the incidentals you need from spices to shampoo security was like fort knox :) I'll go back in a heartbeat.

This condo is located in right in the heart of the Gas Lamp District (best part of San Diego). The place is immaculate. I parked my Hyundai Accent next to some serious autos in the garage. Very secure facility. My only complaint was a small ironing board. Scott emailed me right after that he was intending to get one, and appreciated the feedback. This place is outstanding for ball games, and access to the convention center. I will be back.

This rental property is perfectly situated in the Gaslamp district of San Diego. We used it for attending a tradeshow and it works out nicely. The condo is comfortable and stylish and most everything you would need is already at the condo. Thanks for the great place, we will definitely come back in the future.

Owner response:Please note that we don't really have space for a full size ironing board, as we attempt to maximize closet/storage space for our guests. After renting for many years, this has not been an issue for any other guests.

I had a conference to attend in SD. Hotels were booked. I decided to find a place on VRBO. I could not be more pleased! This condo was perfect. Clean, well appointed and just delightful. Owner was easy to work with. You can tell this is his place and he takes care of it, instead of just a rental place. Perfect location with restaurants all around and close to hotels! My conference was a block away. I'll be back, no doubt!

My husband and I stayed here while I attended a conference at the Convention Center and he played golf. The location was ideal. We found the condo clean, comfortable and well equipped. All communications from the owner were prompt and helpful. I recommend it highly.

The owner of this property made my first VRBO experience so amazing that I will be using VRBO time and again and will definitely stay in this amazing condo on my next trip to Southern California. The owner was efficient and experienced at handling my inquiries and questions once we arrived. The whole process from inquiry to signing the agreement--throughout the entire stay-- was professional and simple. The condo was clean, well-maintained, very well-organized for ease of use. It felt warm and comfortable, and my family was able to settle into an easy routine. He left magazines out that advertised local attractions, restaurants and events. The location was incredible. We walked to the convention center, through Fisherman's Village, and the best restaurants of the Gaslamp District are steps outside the front door. Thank you for a truly incredible experience and for getting us through our "learning curve" with renting a vacation property for the first time. We hope all owners are as warm, hospitable and organized as you! We will be back next year!

My family and I needed a small place with a kitchen for the long holiday weekend. Not only was this condo in an amazing location, but it was in impeccable condition. The proximity to the convention center and the new Children's Museum, as well as all the Gaslamp has to offer, was enjoyable. We will definitely stay here in the near future.

We really enjoyed this luxury Gaslamp condo during our recent visit. Being that we are also vacation rental owners ourselves in the Lake Tahoe area, we really appreciate having both the luxury and convenience this condo offered us. Being so close to the Convention Center and Petco Park, we felt at home by having a full kitchen and other nice features. We will definitely come back to this condo in the near future, and hope to never stay in a San Diego hotel again!
