Be one of the first people to stay at this totally renovated cottage. It was rebuilt from the ground up and is ready to rock! Designed to entertain, it offers all the essential party amenities.
The Kitchen is one of the nicest features of the house. Not only is it large, but it has top of the line appliances, maple cabinets and black granite counter tops. The gas cook top and wall oven make cooking easy. There is an ice maker on the fridge to keep the drinks flowing!
After a long day on the lake, the living room is a great place to hangout. The timber framed cathedral ceiling and leather furniture make it nice. For the frosty Northern Michigan nights, there is a floor to ceiling ledge stone fireplace.
All of the bedrooms have super comfy beds and designer linen. The first bedroom has 2 Twin beds and a Full size in the loft. The second bedroom has a Queen and Full size bed. In the Master bedroom there is a big California King and a couch. This room also has a stone fireplace that turns on with the flick of a switch.
To keep this short, I will sum it by saying that the bathrooms are awesome. Heated marble floors and double rainfall shower heads make getting up tolerable. There is also a formal dining room and additional seating at the bar in the kitchen. One of the couches opens up into a Queen size bed. Perfect for the Mother in Law or Cousin you dislike.
The house isn't right on the water, but there is a private dock and beach area. You can moor your boat here for the week. Oh ya, the backyard has a fire pit to roast your wiener on. The front of the house has a monster deck with patio furniture.

My family and I had a great time at this rental. The house is comfortable, open, and clean. The house has really nice features: granite counter-tops, gas range, slate floors, heated marble floors in the bathrooms, and cozy fireplaces. The master is huge, but the third bedroom is rather cozy and perfect for kids. The neighborhood around the house is nice and relaxed, and the lake is a few easy steps down the road. All in all, it is a really nice place to vacation in for a week.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers.

A group of 8-10 of us stayed for a long weekend. The house was very clean and large enough that we didn't feel like we were cramped; not to mention the price is very reasonable. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it (I don't remember a negative thing being said about the place). This is also a dog friendly home which was a major plus for a couple of us. We would certainly recommend this house to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This was a perfect house for the long weekend we spent in Michigan. We were there for my brother's wedding at Frog's Pond and it was very close and easy to get to from this location. It was a quick drive to Traverse City for great food and fun in the city. The house was clean and everything was comfortable. It was a lot better than staying in a hotel for the week. The owner was very good about getting me information about his place. I would recommend this to place to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

My family and I just got back from this wonderful place and were all sad to go. Very comfortable and spacious home very close to lake front in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was very helpful and had all of the necessary items at the house. We stayed the 4th of July week and even though it was a holiday it was still very peaceful there! Five of us stayed there in February. Loved the location being close to Interlochen School of Arts and house was really nice with so much room. Especially enjoyed fireplace and kitchen. Me, my wife and our dog stayed the weekend in mid-October. The house was clean, and very inviting. All we could have wished for to get away for a few days. Great value, too. The photos only tell half the story. Plenty of room to roam, a real nice place.The owner was very helpful and I would strongly recommend this location to anyone.Recommended for: Pet owners.

We stayed for a week with 5 adults and 2 kiddies, plenty of room for all to spread out and enjoy themselves. The location is great to go to Sleeping Bear or Traverse City. Very clean throughout and quiet little streets for the kids to ride bikes. Great time!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners.

We stayed here during the 4th of July / Cherry Festival holiday week. Great location, great house. Everything was new and clean and the location was perfect. I will recommend to all my friends. You wont find anything better than this for the money.Recommended for: Families with young children.
