Great place. 2d time to rent small house, 1st time for large house. Worked perfectly with daughter's family, including 2 grandkids. Fishing was super. Will rent again. Suggestion: get garbage cans with lids (critters will spread garbage all over the place) and wheels (long way to carry to road). Otherwise, very satisfied.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Fisher's Friend White River Cabin. We caught our limit of fish each day. The view from the back porch is beautiful. The cabin layout works for large or small families. Kitchen had everthing we needed. We will definitely stay here on our next visit.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

A party of 6 came in for a local race and just loved this house! The location, friendliness of owners, recommendations, etc were all great. It was everything the website said and more. Great setup for firepit / s'mores. The house was decorated for the holidays and very pretty. We saw many people fishing for trout? The house has an incredible view. We will be back next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

A last minute decision to use 2 days off from work to make a 4 day mini-vacation could not have turned out any better. Browsing online for a pet friendly, clean and quiet cabin on the white river led us to this amazing place. The stormy, rainy weather made the views even more incredible when the sun emerged. Our goals for this trip were to relax, read, get back in touch with nature, catch some fish and eat them for dinner. All of our goals were more than met! The house was beautiful and comfortable without being fussy and had everything we could possibly need. I loved the upstairs balcony and we took full advantage of the deck. With the river gently flowing, the leaves changing color and wildlife peeking around every corner, sitting outside was our favorite pass time. We are now determined to build the same type of fire pit behind our deck. The long drive home consisted of figuring out how and when we could possibly make it back this spring! Thanks for making the plans for our visit so easy and providing us with accommodations so beautiful and enjoyable.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

The cabin on the White River was incredible. As we pulled up to the red cabin it was the best looking cabin on the block. It had a full kitchen which was very useful for us. The back porch was great to lounge and drink coffee in the morning. The boat ramp was only a 30 second drive away which was extremely nice. I would come back here in a heartbeat. The fishing was amazing, catching 60-70 fish a day. This cabin is a jewel on the White River. We slept six grown men comfortably. I would recommend this place to any person looking for a great weekend of fishing and fun. Best VRBO rental i've had yet!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

We recently completed a 4-day (3 night) stay here and loved it! The location was perfect and you can't beat the river access. House was clean and had everything you need to cook meals, so no need to leave! Walmart very close for groceries, fishing licenses and misc things you might have forgotten. Great fishing right out the back door. Owner was very willing to accommodate and was very easy to work with. We are already making plans for a return trip!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our family of five (two couples & our college age son) stayed a week at the White River cabin. Beautiful place, peaceful and quiet. Cabin was well equipped, clean and spacious, everything you needed including a well stocked basic pantry and board games/cards. Fly fishing was awesome and weather cooperated all week, with sunshine and a pleasant breeze. Perfect place for a family or just a group of fisherman. Will definitely go back again, just for the relaxing alone. Took a side trip to Harrison Arkansas (by the way...don't believe that it is any where near the Antique Capitol of Arkansas as most of the shops were out of business), Branson side trip was great and we enjoyed a movie in Mountain Home. Take lots of books, a good yard chair and maybe a bike.....this place is well worth the winding roads to get there.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Had a great stay at this cabin. Was able to walk right out the back door straight to the river and catch plenty. The fire pit was great for relaxing after a day on the river. Look forward to staying here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this beautiful & new cabin celebrating our anniversary. The river and mountain views were great. The cabin is furnished very tastefully and everything needed was provided and more. We would definitely want to stay there again .The owner and also the caretaker were both helpful with our questions and made the whole experience enjoyable.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Beautiful property....we had a wonderful weekend stay. Beautiful views of the river, loved watching the deer eating from pear tree in the front yard. Very peaceful, relaxing and cozy. This property has everything that you need plus extra special touches, pumpkins and fall decorations made the place feel like home. Caretakers very helpful and friendly. Only problem we had was finding the entrance to the property. The mailbox could be marked better. (Easy fix) Those side roads get VERY dark late at night! Would love to stay there again in the future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners.

Beautiful home and property! Accessible to dining, canoeing, state parks, groceries. Fishing was good--just a short walk down from the house to the river below! Caretakers were available to answer questions/address any concerns. Enjoyed our stay immensely and an emphatic YES our entire family would love to stay there again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.
