  Three of us girlfriends rented this home for a getaway weekend and it was perfect.! The home is modern, clean and very well maintained. It has everything you need and much more. We enjoyed visiting Chattanooga during the days and hitting all the main tourist attractions, including Rock City, Ruby Falls and much more.. all of which are just a short drive away. We looked forward to returning to our cabin in the evenings, building a fire in the outdoor fire pit, relaxing in the wonderful hot tub, and just relaxing.! We can't wait to return.! It was truly a wonderful weekend.!

  Absolutely loved this place and have nothing but the highest praise for the property management. I and a few friends stayed here for New Years and we were provided with everything needed for a great stay. The hot tub was even bubbling and ready for us when we got there! The patio area with hot tub, fireplace, and grill is definitely the highlight of the house. Inside is beautifully decorated and up-to-date with all the modern amenities, including wi-fi, plenty of good tvs, and a Playstation 3 with games and movies. It is about 20 minutes from Chattie and a nice rural setting-- which is best viewed from the awesome back patio area. Rock City, and the Incline Railway are straight up the road. Keep going and you'll hit downtown Chattanooga-- quite the happening place! My one tiny criticism is the water pressure in the bathroom shower-- needs more of it. And careful with the temperature-- the water is either tepid or scalding hot with no in-between. But I don't think this detracts even a little from how great the rest of our stay was. Recommend stopping at Pasha Coffee and Tea on St. Elmo Ave. for a good meal and an even better cup of coffee or tea. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe next year!!!

  This was a great place for my husband and I with our 16 year old son to take my elderly parents(82 & 74) for rest, relaxation and just plain ole family bonding. The details are described very accurately and there was so much more down to the corkscrew needed for our purchase of a bottle of Georgia wine from the winery nearby. The floor plan was excellent for my parents, no stairs! The scenery along with patio & hot tub provided the R&R needed. I must say, even though it rained 9inches total in 2 days of our stay, at no point were we wishing we we anywhere else. Thanks David for our new home away from home, we frequent that area often as many family are there.

  We stayed at Mountain Vista August 11th-14th. It was such a treat to be able to stay here! The drive out to the house was beautiful with the mountains and rock faces surrounding you. The house was clean and smelled good when we arrived. The beds were super comfortable and the scenery was breath taking! The fact that it is pet friendly as well made it even better! Just a short drive from downtown Chattanooga and close to wal-mart and resturants. The outdoor grill/ eating area was the perfect spot to hang out at night, but I would suggest bringing citronella candles to keep the bugs away. The jacuzzi was relaxing, but we could not turn the bubbles on because when we did the chlorine in the air became so strong we ended up coughing and the inside of our noses burned. Make sure to bring your own charcoal and fire starter for the grill. Bringing extra kindling for the outside fireplace is a good idea too, as we had a very tough time getting a fire going after the first night without extra kindling. Mountain Vista overall was a great place to spend a long weekend, and we would certainly do it again! Thank for everything Dave!

  We truly enjoyed our stay at Mt Vista, everything was neat and clean. We especially enjoyed the lovely patio and the hot tub, so peaceful! The convience to downtown Chattanooga was awesome. We ate at a cafe in St Elmos called the Blacksmith bistro, I highly recommend the Rooster burger.

  We had a wonderful time at the house. It had everything we needed, including an ample amount of towels, dishes, and cookware. The hottub and backyard were gorgeous. We definitely would stay again if we are in the Chattanooga area.

  Everything you need is at this house. It's in the country but only 15 minutes to St. Elmo (Incline Railway or Ruby Falls) or tons of restaurants or a little further to downtown Chattanooga. It's SO quiet and peaceful here. The beds are very comfortable and almost everything in the house has been remodeled or is brand new. We sat under the gazebo during a rainstorm and admired the mountain views. We will definitely stay here again !
