Willow Wood sits on three acres along the Gunnison River. Enjoy the sounds and sights of the river and the lovely gardens while sitting on the two riverfront decks. Watch the rafters and kayakers float by and enjoy private fishing right from the house. This is truly a special place and a nice home for entertaining. There are three large living room areas as well as a dining area which seat eight people. The kitchen is well equipped with granite counters and stainless appliances. Enjoy large screen TV's in the master bedroom and living area.
This home is well furnished and is a comfortable place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful Gunnison area. Close to town and just a quick walk to one of Gunnison's best restaurants Garlic Mikes. Beautifully landscaped yard and large lawn area as well as another large deck off the back of the house make this a nice home to enjoy the outdoors. Plenty of room for parking and a circular driveway make this an easy place to bring a boat to enjoy Blue Mesa Reservoir.

This place really has it all. Large kitchen, multiple living areas, decks to watch the river and a large front yard are just the starters. We didn't want to leave! The home is well stocked with everything you would need. Don't worry about buying plates or napkins...you'll probably even want to check out the pantry & fridge before hitting the store. There was even a dog bed and crate for our 70lb German Shepherd mix. We stayed here while doing a college visit for our oldest son. Gunnison and Crested Butte are charming towns. Gunnison had everything we needed...grocery store (including organics), liquor store with craft beers and good wine and a Walmart, if you forget something. There were a few restaurants in town and Crested Butte has a bunch too. Be sure to get coffee at Camp 4, it is really good! We had dinner one night at Garlic Mike's, it was fine but nothing to rave about. The best part of Mike's is that its right across the street from this property. Our trip was late March and the weather was unseasonably cool but that didn't stop us from finding things to do. The boys skied Crested Butte and we hiked Hartman Rocks too. We were limited by time and not the amount of things to do. Our son has decided to attend Western so we will definitely be back to this home over the next few years!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
