Waterfront log cabin home located on privately owned land surrounded by beautiful Schoodic and Black Mountains. Cabin has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 8 max.), large living room, 2 baths, modern kitchen, screened in porch, and sun porch with gas grill. This cabin is secluded yet close to all types of adventures from trout to salmon fishing (with canoe, paddleboat, and 3 kayaks provided), to hiking and climbing the mountains. There is plenty of recreational space for family activities; take quiet walks through the woods or just relax on the private beach. Little Tunk Pond, which the cabin overlooks, or Big Tunk Lake (w/dock) is great for swimming, which is just a short walk away. Bar Harbor is 1 hour from the home and Acadia National Park (Schoodic Point, Winter Harbor) is just 15 minutes away where sightseeing is a must. Please ask Mary about other rental properties on Little Tunk Pond and Big Tunk Lake.
