We really enjoyed renting this property for our first trip to Rosemary Beach. It had a great, quiet location and only a few minutes from coffee shops and restaurants. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the beach, max. It came with chairs, bikes, and a really convenient wagon. Two big bummers about the property, though. One, the only (tiny) bathroom in the house is through the bottom floor bedroom, so you definitely couldn't stay here with anyone other than close family. We were glad we hadn't brought our small child as there would have been no way to close off a bedroom for him without also closing off the bathroom. I wish that had been disclosed. Also, I found it not overly clean. The spiral staircase at eye level had dust and hair all over it, and it made me wonder about the towels and sheets. As the other reviewer stated, it needs a deep cleaning, or perhaps a different cleaning crew?Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

This rental has a great location as it is close to shops and restaurants with a short walk to the beach. Four people is a stretch as this ho,e is more suited for two as it only has one bathroom and is a tight space. My wife and I were disappointed with the cleanliness as the unit could stand a deep cleaning. Curtains are a must as we felt like we were on display with any lights on in the evening.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
Owner response: Yes, it is really close to the shops and restaurants. It's very clear on the VRBO listing exactly what it is and I don't know of any "Carriage House" that has more than 1 bathroom. It does sleep 4, seats 4 in both the kitchen & living, has a full kitchen, 4 bikes and 4 beach chairs and many families of 4 have enjoyed it. We actually do a deep clean after Spring Break and after the Summer season. We have blinds on every window in the home, just not the glass doors which is pretty typical in Rosemary Beach... We're sorry you were unhappy :(
