Enjoy Florida-living at its best with large window-walls that frame views of the zen-style garden, the deep water pool, and the heated spa. This beautiful garden features palm trees, bamboos and tropical foliage framing the dry creek and dry pond. In addition, off the Main Entrance is a petite courtyard in which sunlight filters through a monastery bamboo and Japanese privet onto the private granite patio.
The two-story home featuring ultramodern architecture designed by Searle Lamaster Howe of Chicago is unique to Key West. Located in Old Town, the structure is constructed of board-formed concrete and houses two bedrooms, two baths, a spacious living/dining room, and a private second floor sundeck with its own shower.
The interior has an open plan with soaring ceilings, elegant lighting and European appliances. It is furnished with European and Carribean furniture; the bedrooms have European Beech walls, and the bathrooms offer Italian marble and Bisazza tile walls and the latest European fixtures.
In back is a large rock-laden garden and patio with a generously sized pool and attached heated spa.

My son-in-law asked my wife and I to go to Key West in order to celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday. My wife and I have stayed at the Hyatt, Westin and Westin Sunset Key Resort. I was a little skeptical about staying at a house, however, we let our son-in-law make the decision. This house is absolutely perfect. It's in the right location, it is meticulously maintained and the amenities are great. It was great to have more space and the ability to come back and relax in the pool or on the deck. The house has everything you need. I also can't say enough about the owners, Don and Kim. They were there to answer questions, gave excellent advise on restaurants and they were a pleasure to sit and talk to. They tried everything they could to stay out of our way, but we were successful in getting them to sit outdoors with us. Don, Kim and Virgil (their standard poodle) are great hosts!

For a first time visitor to Key West, we couldn't have been happier with our choice of places to stay. The location of this property is top notch, as its 1-2 blocks off the center of Duval Street. As a result, you're easily within walking distance to all of the daytime and nightlife activities, without the noise and chaos that goes along with it. As for the property itself- It's absolutely fantastic. This recently constructed building has top notch finishes from the spacious showers (6 shower-heads in the master bath!) to the cozy beds. Overall it is a sleek and comfortable place to stay, and is more than enough room for the 4 adults that we had staying there. The back-yard of the house is also a fantastic place to kick back and relax. There's a great pool / spa area that's perfect for soaking up some mid-afternoon sun. This space is also surrounded by fantastic landscaping and rock gardens, which provides the perfect environment for relaxation. All in all- We had an absolutely fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend this space for anyone looking to be in the heart of Key West, while still having a private hideaway.

This house is amazing! Sleek, modern, yet still cozy and cool. The pictures don't do this house justice. Location is perfect and walking distance to anything you want to do in Key West. Pool and backyard entertainment area is perfect and very relaxing. We will be staying here again

Very enjoyable stay. Kim, Don and Virgil were excellent hosts. House is a contemporary jewel--spotless and like brand-new. Nice pool/hot tub in back. Short walking distance to most Old Town shops/restaurants. Owners very helpful in any needs we had during our stay--went above and beyond in making our stay enjoyable. Many amenities, including off-street parking at the house, beautiful rooms, bathrooms, kitchen with great lighting layout and nice TV's and stereo system. House was also cleaned midweek. Highly recommend, and we're pretty picky!

This unique home was just right for our party of 4. Clean, spacious, and just around the corner from Duval. We enjoyed the pool and garden as well as the privacy. Close enough to the action yet far enough from the noise. The owners were most welcoming and exceptionally accommodating in every way. We will most definitely return next year!

We had the privilege of staying at one of the most beautiful and enchanting houses on key west. Truly a gem on the island. The private pool and hot tub make you feel like you are in a secluded oasis. The house itself is decorated with impeccable taste and is as charming a place to vacation as you will find. I would be the first to recommend this retreat to anyone looking to make a a getaway to the keys. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My family thanks our hosts Don and Kim for allowing us to stay in their beautiful, well-appointed home. It is located near everything you want to be near in Key West, yet affords plenty of peace-and-quiet. We grilled local catch on the Big-Green-Egg-Grill several times and enjoyed romantic-candle-lit-dinners on their Outdoor Patio. Nearly every night, we enjoyed the total privacy of the Heated Spa in the middle of their Garden - so relaxing after a Day on the Town. This is a Key West Paradise!

This house was unforgettable in the best kind of way. The location is perfect and the house is furnished with every amenity you could ever want or need. From an amazing audio system and satellite TVs to the kitchen and on out to the pool and patio with a grill. This house does not disappoint. The owners were very friendly and easy to work with and made certain that are stay was comfortable and worry free... and it was!!

We won this at an auction and what a Win it was!! It is an amazing, immaculate, well-appointed, modern home. We enjoyed the amazing sun deck, bathing in all three showers, and soaking in the very-hot heated spa. Maybe next time we will cook in that nice kitchen (her-hee). My family spent a week here + enjoyed an ideal location, a fabulous home, + kind Owners. The house, clean + well-appointed, is like a 5-star-hotel. The Owners, Kim+Don, were very helpful, but inconspicuous . We especially loved grilling on their Big Green Egg (BBQ) and 2 nights we dined by candlelight on the patio - it was very special. Most nights we enjoyed the well-heated spa under the stars in complete privacy. Thank you for you sharing your home with us and we RECOMMEND it to EVERYONE!
