A stunning rooftop deck showcases the beach, park, and ocean, with the mountains as a backdrop. You're surrounded by nature, yet you can walk less than 1/2 mile to get to a Zagat Rated steakhouse, Buzz's Laniki, or rent any surf toy you'd like at Kayak Kailua Rentals. You can also walk along the park to the nearby market, Kalapawai market. What could be more convenient?
The newly constructed house is designed to accomodate comfortably. The master bedroom features its own private bathroom and Jacuzzi tub. What a fantastic spot! I almost hate to write this review because I want to keep this house all to ourselves. We were worried about the house not being on the beach, but we found it to be really close and we enjoyed the views of the ocean. Kailua beach and park is right there. The beach is fantastic- great sand & swimming and it wasn't crowded at all. Having the grocery store and bike rental nearby couldn't have been more convenient. We had fun exploring Kailua and even ate at Rudy, the Owner's, restaurant- which was fantastic. Overall a great trip and I would recommend it to anyone, but I want to keep it a secret - sssh! Awesome place. We loved being close to Kailua / Lanakai Beach- it is one of the prettiest on earth. The beach features warm water and gentle surf, at least while we were there! The house was great for cooking and it was handy to have a grocery store right there. The ocean breezes and the elevated view kept everybody mellow. The property was large enough to accommodate our group of 4 adults and 4 older children. If I had it to do all over again- I would go back. We had a ball at Rudy's (the owner's) restaurant. Jason the leasing agent was thorough and accommodating. A special thanks to Khristy in Kailua (the cleaning gal / manager) who made our stay extra special with flowers and handy tips. We get excited just talking about our awesome vacation to paradise. We got to be lazy beach bums for a week. The beach is super close and pristine. The house is great- plenty of room for me and my two grown kids, and their families. The views of the ocean were great from the house and the lanai. Though warm at mid-day, the lanai was cool in the mornings and evenings with the ocean breeze. We had to wear a sweatshirts a few times! We enjoyed sauntering down the beach to Buzz' beach bar, on the way to the grocery store and kayak rental place. Everything is convenient. The house was clean and well kept. We noted a few light bulbs that needed to be changed and a drippy faucet, which the manager said he'd fix right away.
