Here at Paraiso Del Mar we have a wonderful place for you to relax, explore and restore your energy.
Enjoy the quiet of the beach walks, watch the dolphins and whale sharks, take the boat out to the open sea to visit beautiful islands and beaches rich with wildlife or just rest by the pool or on our lovely patio. Just a few steps away you will find an infinity pool and a shared hot tub, surrounded by lush greenery. A yoga class meets a few mornings a week, or you can arrange with the instructor to accommodate your own schedule. A tennis court and a golf course are a pleasant walk or a very short free shuttle ride away, or you can rent your own golf cart. There is also a cafe by the condo pool where you can enjoy a tasty meal with a beautiful view.
Our kitchen is furnished with the modern appliances to make your cooking experience a breeze. Grocery shopping is made very convenient with the aid of a free shuttle from the doors of the condo to the (free!) boat taxi to take you to the town of La Paz. Just by the dock there are lovely restaurants, and both shopping and the prepared food delivery can be arranged with the staff of Paraiso del Mar. The town of La Paz has large supermarkets as well as specialty shops, such as an artisan bakery .
Our unit is very kid friendly. For those of you travelling with children we have a portable crib, a booster seat,a small table and chair as well as unbreakable dishes and toys for the children of different ages, from toddlers to older kids. Should there be anything else you might need, please let us know in advance and we'll do our best to accomodate you.
Our first floor condo is just a sliding door away from the winding path through the dunes to the Sea of Cortez, where only one can walk along the beach for hours hardly ever coming across another human. Only the pelicans glide over the water, and other birds let you come close enough to snap a picture. With nature quietly waiting at the front door, walking through the grass to the pool or to the beach, we feel like children without a care in the world and want to stay here forever.
Our art filled elegant condo is only minutes away (by a free taxi boat)from the town of La Paz, friendly and rich in culture, shopping and entertainment. For the art lovers, Todos Santos, an hour bus ride away, is a mecca of local artists and craftsmen. The Paraiso del Mar office offers a newsletter of various art, cultural and community events happening in the nearby towns. There is plenty to do and explore around, all you need to find enough time to see it all!
Well behaved dogs are negotiable with an extra security deposit by agreement with owner only.

We stayed in this great condo for 3 weeks. The condo is very comfortable and attractive and the kitchen well equipped. Resort is beautiful and safe, close to the city but with a sense of being remote and private. The ocean swimming is the best we have experienced in Mexico and the almost deserted beach fantastic. The various owners in residence are friendly and welcoming. The chefs at the restaurant by the pool make great Mexican meals daily if you want using local ingredients and fresh seafood. The owners are friendly and very helpful and work hard to make your stay easy and comfortable.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.

First of all let me just mention that the owners of this place were really nice and friendly, they made me feel very special and welcome, as if I knew them for years, the way they described the place and showed me all the photos on the ad fell short to what it really is, this place is awesome, it had everything we needed to make us feel like home away from home, we really felt like there was no need to leave this place whatsoever, because everything we needed was already there for my family needs.. This is one of the best vacations that my family and I have experienced, the sunsets views were spectacular the amenities were all inclusive. We had free boat shuttle transportation to and from the Island to the city. The swimming pool and beech were easily accessible the beech water was crystal clear and no rocks found in the water whatsoever ...wow what a great place!!!! If you are planning a trip to La Paz, this is the place you want to stay!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We are a pair of very busy working Californians. Silicon Valley is our main home, where we live, work and contemplate the idea of spending a lot more time with our children and grandchildren in La Paz after retirement.
Why the Owner Chose La Paz:
We bought this condo as a getaway from our intense life up north. La Paz is a unique place in a way that it is rather remote from the traditional tourist destinations in Mexico. One really can really feel at home whether walking around town, shopping, eating out or relaxing at the condo, which is only 10 minutes by boat from the pier at Malecon. The beach and the sea, the wonderful quiet and the wildlife are here, but the crowds are not.
