  This was a wonderful cabin. It was very clean and the description given was very accurate. It is very conveniently located near both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg (no more than 15 minutes to either).This property is located up a nice winding road and it has a secluded feeling because of the trees and location of other cabins surrounding it. The owner, Randall, was very quick to respond to any e-mails and was a pleasure to rent from. I would highly recommend renting this property.

  This was a very relaxing stay, despite 3 straight days of rain. I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub, listening to the rain hit the roof and watching and listening to the birds chirp.

  Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway.

  This cabin was awesome, very cozy, everything you need to make yourself at home!! Great location, but beware of driveway, that's the only tricky thing, but was worth the money. Great owner, communicates well. Hot tub was definitely a us!!!! We will be staying here again in the summer!' And our dog "Rex" loved it too!!

  We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Location is perfect and within close proximity to many area attractions. We came in hopes of seeing snow and we did! Everything was neat and clean upon arriving and all essentials provided. We come to the area often (1-2 times a year) and will definitely stay here again.

  The cabin was easy to find and was comfortable for all 6 of us to move around in. The boys enjoyed the pool table air hockey combo game room. The hot tub was fun to get in every morning and evening. Overall we had a very nice time and for the price it was very nice.

  Just returned from a 4 night stay at Bearrrific Cabin with my husband and our dog. We had a fantastic time and I was most impressed with the cleanliness of the house. Since it's a pet friendly place, I anticipated a little more wear and tear or possible stray pet hairs, but it was immaculate. The interior is even nicer and roomier than the pictures show, the furniture is all very comfortable and the dining table with bench seats was incredibly functional. There are few stairs to get into the cabin, but it IS the mountains! And so the stairs were never an issue for us. Our dog didn't nap the entire trip because she had a perfect window to sit and be entertained watching all the cat, squirrel and falling leaf activity out in the woods! Randall, the owner, was quick to respond, provided detailed information and then left you to your vacation. Very pleased and will absolutely look for Randall's cabins in the future.

  My husband and I rented Bearrrific for a much needed break from our work reality. I couldn't have been happier. We have rented cabins and condos all over the country and this was BY FAR THE BEST of them all. We have added this cabin to our list of "keepers". We will definitely return here. The condo is removed, yet so convenient being almost equi-distance between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I can't remember a more relaxing vacation and can't wait to return.

  We visited this cabin in Aug 4th of 2012.Its a well maintained beautiful cabin.I wouldnt consider the stairs as a hassel.We had issues with the hot tub outside,but maintenance crew was very prompt and resolved it quickly.The only thing that I would like to let the owner know would be that the window close to the Jetted Tub,didnt have blinds and it felt uncomfortable knowing that the cabin next door had a view of it.Other than this I would totally recommend this cabin.Hands down super comfy,well maintained and in a perfect location.Thanks for sharing your cabin.

  My husband and our three children visited the Smokies in early Aug 2012. We stayed at the Chocolate Bear midway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was only about 3 mins from the main road. The pictures were right on. There are about 25 steps to get into the cabin, so if you have trouble getting around this may not be the cabin for you. Our family had plenty of room in this cabin. The kids enjoyed the game room in the loft and we enjoyed the hot tub! There is also a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom which was wonderful. We loved how rustic the cabin was and how it is in a mountain setting, but only a few minutes to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. We prepared several meals at the cabin which saved a ton of money. We had a great time and can't wait to go back!

  My husband, myself and our three children stayed four nights in the Chocolate Cabin. Everything was as described. We found the cabin clean and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. We had plenty of room for the five of us to sleep, only mention is that it was a good thing the kids like to travel with their own blankets as there were not extras provided for the futon or the pull out sleeper. We loved the cabin and loved the location. Less than 5 minutes to Pigeon Forge and less than 10 to Gatlinburg. The price is the most reasonable I found and definitely beats being cramped in a hotel room. We did not take our pet, but glad to have the possibility without any additional fees.
