We consider this as one of ours best vacation homes visited. We had a great time in Waterville during our stay there. It gave us the feeling of staying in woods away from the busy city lives The house was very clean and comfortable , open concept with beautiful panoramic windows overlooking woods, great place to enjoy a cup of hot tea or share a glass of wine with friends after skiing which is also just minutes away, both Waterville Valley and Loon Mountain. This house has everything you need! And a very nice and welcoming owner! Strongly recommended.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Getaway here. Plenty of room for a family of 7 - comfortable bedrooms and great cooking space in the kitchen. The open floor plan kept everyone together even while different activities were going on. The location is a perfect drive to both Waterville Valley Resort and Route 93. Many great memories were made - A new family tradition has begun!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was our first time renting a home and we had a great experience. At first when we received the instructions re: care of the home, we were a bit intimidated...3 pages. But it all made sense when we got there. The home was large and comfortable and very clean. The rec center just down the road was perfect for an afternoon w/ small grandchildren, and everyone there was very friendly. My husband and son went Ziplining in Lincoln (nearby) and had a blast. Dinner at the Mad River Tavern (also nearby) was delicious. And sitting in the hottub in the peace and quiet of the mountains was beautiful. Only thing wrong with this weekend was that it ended too soon. Would definitely go back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Just returned from a wonderful week's vacations at Deb's home. The house is wonderfully secluded, yet within a 5 minute walk to the rec center. With three boys, the rec center was a wonderful gift - we swam every day in all three pools! and also played tennis a couple of mornings. On our last night, after a day at Castle in the Clouds, we went to family movie night and the boys thought it was great to watch a movie from the outdoor pool! The layout of the house is great with plenty of room for family game time as well as space for the boys to "hang out" together while we enjoyed some quiet reading time. The house was very clean and any questions we had were answered promptly. We had a few friends over for dinner one evening and they were so impressed with how comfortable and spacious the home was. We would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a great family vacation home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

We had a fantastic time in July! The house is very convenient to the White Mountain attractions, as well as the Manchester airport. The amenities at Waterville Valley Estates were great for those days you don't want to drive anywhere. The setting is very quiet and peaceful! The house itself is spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room to play family games. Likewise, the house offers a downstairs where someone could take a nap, or play video games undisturbed. This will be our first choice when we return to NH next summer!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We rented this house for a week in June. Deb was extremely easy to deal with and was very easy to reach and available for any questions we had. The house had a great layout; actually it was perfect for two families. We really enjoyed it, even though there were only 2 couples. The house was extremely clean upon check in and we found everything we needed there. The property was very private which was nice since we were able to bring our dog (min pin) up with us. The rec center was also an added bonus. We enjoyed using the pool/hot tubs. If it was warmer out, we probably would have spent much more time there using the tennis/basketball courts and down at the beach/pond. The hikes we really enjoyed were close by and easy to get to. The Mad River Tavern was delicious and right down the road! Only thing we didn't love was the grill. There is a park style charcoal grill in the yard, we are typically more comfortable with a propane grill. It was a great location and an overall great week! We will be renting this property again in the future!!! Thanks Deb!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Three generations came together for a fun-filled ski weekend at this lovely home. The rental process couldn't be easier, and Deb was very responsive and easy to work with throughout. The house is great, and well equipped. Location is very convenient to Waterville Valley, Loon, and Cannon Mountains, and there's even a little ski hill just down the street that we enjoyed some night skiing for just $10! My 85 year old mother enjoyed sitting by the wood stove reading while the rest of us were out skiing. With a bedroom on the main floor, she didn't even have to cope with the stairs. Clean, well-maintained, and exactly as advertised are adequate descriptors. The private hot tub was an added bonus after a long day of skiing.Did you find this review helpful? My whole family enjoyed our stay (including our Lab) at this house! It is in a great location for seeing all the sites from Santa's Village to the Polar Express. We loved ice skating at Waterville and if there had been more snow we would have gone tubing at Loon. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable family winter vacation. If you do go when it is snowing you will need snow tires and/or 4 wheel drive!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

We spent most of August 2010 in this house. It was a wonderful house, very clean and the kitchen is well-stocked. The appliances are in very good shape - important for our family of 5 (with 3 boys) - and the beds are very comfortable. It's very quiet and private, yet the Rec Center is only a short walk or drive away. We used the pools, the tennis courts and the ping pong table quite a bit. As always, New Hampshire was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Deb was a pleasure to deal with. She was very helpful and accommodating and easily reachable on the few occasions we needed to chat with her. We feel that the owners are usually the most important factor in a rental and Deb is excellent - friendly, professional and competent. Thanks Deb. We are hoping to go back soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent Memorial Day weekend in this Campton, NH house at the foot of the White Mountains. The house was lovely, and fit 6 of us comfortably (2 queens, 2 twins, a futon). The house is just up the road from a lovely breakfast spot (the Unmundane Cafe) and nearby other restaurant/food options as well (Mad River Tavern, Super Walmart). The hot tub outside is a bit small (4 people max), but the rec center is less than a 5 min. walk and is wonderful. Rec center amenities include tennis, basketball, a huge hot tub, and indoor/outdoor pools. We were also only a short drive from Welch-Dickey trail, so there's wonderful hiking nearby. The house is a great deal and offers everything you need for a relaxing mountain vacation!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Great week-end with perfect weather. This property was as expected, clean, private and close to activity center. The pictures do not do it justice. There was a nice surprise with a mezzanine looking over the living room. You will find everything that you need from a well stocked kitchen and great layout perfect for entertaining. I really appreciated all the details provided by the owner regarding the surrounding amenities and other activity areas. Our family really enjoyed ourselves and you will to.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This property was clean and lived up to everything it promised. We took advantage of the Recreation Center which you can walk to. The kids LOVED it! Also, there are plenty of things to do nearby (as long as you don’t mind driving out 15 to 20 minutes). Only advice is to make sure you have a 4WD vehicle to get up the driveway during the winter and early spring. The owner was very responsive and accommodating throughout the rental process and stay. We look forward to staying again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful time at the house. It was in a really great quiet location in the woods and the entire house was of a high standard. There was lots of space in all the rooms, the kitchen was well equiped and we cooked all our evening meals - it provided a welcome break from hotels. There was even a hot tub but at the house but we did not use it, preferring to use the two at the community centre instead. We used the swimming pools in the community centre quite a few times, as well as the table tennis and the pedal boats provided in the lake. The owner was really easy to deal with, provided accurate information and returned all our emails promptly. We visited in early September, a little too early to enjoy the fall colours - fall would be an ideal time to visit. We woud really like to pay a return visit next time we are in New Hampshire.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The house was great and exactly as described! It was clean and comfortable with all of home's comforts. The floor layout works out great for groups-we had 6 and definitely had plenty of room to spare. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to campton cupboard, gas station, restaurants, coffee, and of course waterville valley. We enjoyed the association's exercise facility as well. we used the exercise room, sauna, and pool-everything was clean and modern. Lovely stay and would recommend to everyone!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We chose this home based on it's great location. We enjoy this area of NH and spend a lot of time in the outdoors. It's close to the mountains and small quaint towns and all the natural splendor one could ask for. The house is like a home away from home with all the amenities a family needs and them some. The hot tub was a nice bonus and especially relaxing in the cold mountain air. It was nice to be able to bring our dog to the home. The recreation center was quite impressive. It was nice to go swimming in the indoor pools even though it was freezing outside. The house was spotless when we arrived. It has a charming country feel. The kitchen is nice because everything is within arms reach and it had all the pots and pans, dishes and flatware to have a home cooked meal. The owner is very pleasant and clearly indicated around the house how to use heaters and run the hot tub as well as directions to local resteraunts, the closest hospital and where to do your shopping. We have recommended this property to our friends and family as well and are already planning another visit in the coming months.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I rented this house with some friends over a long weekend. It turned out great! There is a hot tub in the back easily accessible through the bedrooms downstairs. Bedrooms are big and plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Extra blankets and pillows and laundry in case you need it! Kitchen is fully supplied with everything you could need to cook and we definitely did. It's very secluded from other homes, not too far from the highway and a Walmart 2 exits on the highway. Close to Franconia if you want to find the Lost river.. etc. I would definitely rent this house again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is our 5th time in this tree top house. A wonderful family setup with all the necessary amenities! My kids love sleeping downstairs instead of their typical upstairs in what they call the "upside down house" (bedrooms on the lower level). We love to sit on the deck with trees over hanging us and the fresh NH air all around. The house is privately nestled in tress so you feel like your in the middle of the NH forest and yet it is within walking distance to the Rec Center. The Center has 2 pools (in & out), A pond (with frogs and fish) and a sports center with tennis courts. This house is always so clean and continually updated. The owners take pride in this rental property! One of our favorite parts of the house, beyond its comfort, is its location. We travel with 2 little ones and the central location of this house makes it perfect for hopping from one tourist adventure to another. Close to the Mountains, Lakes and about 45 min. to Storyland. SO many activities for the kids we have a hard time choosing whether to stay at the rental for the pools or head back out for another adventure. We always find this home comfortable and a pleasure being at. So much my son is complexed as to why anyone would share it with us! A best bet for a wonderful value!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My boyfriend and I just recently returned from our week long stay at this home. We had a wonderful vacation, enjoying ourselves not only in the house itself but also in the surrounding area which is filled with attractions and a beautiful view everywhere you go. The home itself was very accomodating and comfortable. The description of the house fits it very well, and we did not have any problems throughout the week! It was also a pleasure being in contact and dealing with the owner herself, Deb. I would recommend this property/location to anyone looking to have a nice peaceful vacation that also allows for some fun!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Deb, We had a wonderful time. We skied 1/2 day on Friday and ate at the Mad River Tavern which was good, thanks for the suggestion. It snowed Friday evening so skiing was great on Saturday. The plow came by Saturday afternoon to plow about 8" of the driveway (fyi). The house was very comfy and had everything we needed. We all enjoyed the hot tub after both days of skiing. Everything was great - thanks so muchDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thank you Deb for the use of your rental home. Everything was clean comfortable and easy to access. A perfect gathering spot. The location to the facilities were so convient our family. We were able to walk our children to the beach, pool and play area within 5 minutes. Our favorite part was that even thought the house has a contemporary look, it is charming the way it is nestled in the trees, it made us feel like we were living in a luxury tree house.
