The Madrona Inn is located on Hood Canal on the Olympic Peninsula. This house was built with minimal destruction to the native site thus not a great view of the water but trees full of birds. The nights are dark and quiet; the wind is strong, the air clean.
Port Townsend with bars, restaurants is a pleasant 30 min country drive passing farms and forest. Living in the country is different give it a few days you may love it or...Anyway the Madrona Inn is a fun place to be: lots of windows, lots of French doors onto decks, great walks just out the door. Enjoy. Myself or a friend will be there to greet you and show you the place. At that time I'll give out some local secrets.
