  Gorgeous, roomy house for 6 ladies on a girls weekend to San Diego. I am a Californian, but the others were from all over the country and we all couldn't have been more pleased. The house is in a great residential neighborhood (you will need a car) with an easy walk to the beach or cliffs. It was very spacious and could have slept a lot more people, but it was a treat for us to all have our own rooms! The house is quite large and yet very homey with nice touches of art, and books, piano and fully equipped kitchen. The view from the master bedroom and the upstairs deck is fabulous. Speaking of the master bedroom, the bathroom is huge and gorgeous! The only minor negatives.. The master bathroom is the only upstairs bath, but that isn't a huge problem since there are two other full baths on the ground floor. Beds and linens were very comfortable, although pillows were a bit lumpy. And since we all like to cook, the kitchen might have used a few more staples in the pantry, such as common herbs, a little oil and vinegar, etc, We finally found some salt and pepper in the shakers in the dish cabinet. Honestly, we were so busy gabbing that we never turned on the TV, which looked like it might need some figuring out, like most systems these days Overall we were all thrilled with our choice and would love to stay again on another visit to San Diego!

  Are you ever skeptical about finding the perfect rental home and location? Set your worries aside with this property. Our family extremely enjoyed all aspects of the house, the yard, the games, etc. We actually spent more time here as a family than in our own home! Everything that was stated regarding the amenities and the features surely delivers. And yes, the views are spectacular! The proximity to places we visited was very convenient. Our adult children found it easy to locate places they wanted to go to on their own. I would like to thank the owner for responding promptly to calls regarding the property; he was very helpful. We will always have great memories of this relaxing vacation. I would not hesitate to recommend this to our friends and family!

  My large family and I were in San Diego for the weekend to attend a wedding and found the Pelican Point property to be ideal in terms of value, location, and roominess. Some family members flew in from the East Coast so the house' proximity to the airport (~10min) was a great feature especially since they had an early morning flight back. This also allowed us to stay together and spend quality time either while preparing breakfast and eating our meals at the open kitchen/dining area or just lazing around in the super comfy family room (the oversized chaise was the most popular nap space). Pelican Point has everything we needed from a washer/dryer, dishwasher, well equipped kitchen, # of rooms and bathrooms, and location. Peter was exceptional at providing information, responding to all my queries and promptly emailed or called when needed...this gave us the most confidence to know that we were dealing with a reliable owner. We will keep Pelican Point in our list of vacation destinations and highly recommend the property to groups or families.

  This house was absolutely perfect. It was large, open, clean and beautiful. It was conveniently located for our needs throughout San Diego. The house was perfect and accommodated many family members for our week long stay. Best experience with a vacation rental ever. Hope my family and I can come back sooner rather than later. We hosted our intimate wedding reception there, and not only was it big enough to accommodate everyone including food and beverages but it was absolutely picturesque and made for a wonderful setting. We went to San Diego in search of a rental house specifically for this and found most of the pictures online were in deed prettier than the actual property. That was not the case with this property. As lovely as the pictures on this site are, please know that it is even more beautiful in person.

  We rented Pelican Point while we were in town for our wedding and had an awesome stay! The house was everything we wanted and more! Peter was so great and easy to work with! The view was amazing and we had great access to the beach near by and a bunch of little shops. We had to make several trips to the airport to pick up and drop off and the location could not of been better!! Thank you so much Peter we had a blast!

  Our family enjoyed our stay during our re-union.The house has a nice view of the ocean and sunset. The family room for entertainment, the living room for chatting,the backyard for relaxing., the dining& kitchen were all just excellent. The owner was so helpful and accommodating. The location is just great near the beach and spots like the Sea World, the Naval base and above all 5 mins. to the airport. The morning & afternoon breeze is just great too. Neighborhood is so quiet . We would definitely come back and recommend to future renters.

  I rented this property for my daughter, future daughter-in-law and a few other girls to spend a girls weekend in San Diego for a bachelorette getaway. Everyone loved the property. Beautifully decorated, plenty of room, and excellent location. Everyone had a fabulous time and I would definitely rent it again.

  This home was everything we expected and more. Lots of room, great yard, decorated beautifully. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms up to date. Layout was perfect for large family. My teenage son made full use of the game room. Only drawback is the one bathroom upstairs. But it is so beautiful it doesn't even matter for a family who is used to sharing. Had a wedding rehearsal dinner in the back yard on the patio. Perfect setting. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cooking utensils, etc. Owner was pleasant, and accomodating. The price was so affordable. Loved that it was "all inclusive" - instead of taxes, and cleaning on top of the per night cost. We'll be back!
