  Our first visit to Destin and we fell in love! The condo was very clean and comfortable. It was just as described in the listing. Great location across the street from the beach and close to Destin Commons. We enjoyed the Harborwalk Village the most watching Ronnie Satterfield at AJ's play music and entertain. Great birthday celebration for my husband. Hope to return next year!

  We needed a place to stay for a family wedding and found this condo was pretty close to the price of a hotel. Every morning before we ran errands for the bride and family we were able to walk across the street and have a long stroll on the sandy white beach. We went to The Donut Hole two times, and also ate at Pompano Joes. The condo was exactly as advertised, neat, clean, and the perfect size for us. I'm pretty picky about decor and found this unit beautiful. We're so glad we stayed in this spacious unit rather than a hotel. Thanks for sharing your space!

While hotels do offer many fine amenities, a condo offers you an atmosphere more like "a home away from home." Those morning walks on the beach can't be beat -- especially with coffee and a donut from The Donut Hole waiting for you!   From the second we drove into the property, there were MANY great touches that a family like mine can appreciate about this condo. Location is TOP NOTCH. Easy to find and get to, right off Hwy 98 and on Old Scenic Hwy, right next to Henderson State Park. From the condo, we simply crossed the small street and we were ON THE BEACH!! 60 seconds from stepping out of your front door, you're walking on Destin's sugar sands. This was my 5th time visiting Destin, and I've stayed at all sorts of properties before including the big multi-building resorts, but this was the best location and CLOSEST to the beach I've stayed at, encouraging ample beach time. It was easy to come back in if you forgot sunscreen or wanted something cold from the fridge. Yards away from our door was the public beach access point, which does include a rinse-off shower and even a recycling bin (coming from Portland, Oregon, we appreciate that). This condo was located on a quiet street, great for taking walks with the family. A few doors down are two restaurants plus a rental place where you can rent kayaks, bikes, etc. Great options! There's ample safe parking in the lot behind the building, dumpster also close by. It was easy to hop in the car and go anywhere right away without wasting time & losing energy, so we ended up going to the 24-hour Walmart at all hours many times for anything we felt like cooking or making or anything we were running low on. The 24 hour Walmart was < 2 miles away, very convenient for my family. Inside, the condo was clean, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. No garish loud colors, soothing style, and the furniture didn't seem like cheap buys. Balcony was large and well furnished! Bathroom had plenty of towels. Kitchen was bright, spacious, well stocked, great for my family who loves to cook. Fridge's ice maker was handy. There were pots, pans, dishes, toaster, utensils; appliances worked well, and a memorable "Nice Tan" decoration that gave the condo extra character. Bunk beds were comfy and we slept soundly, and Dad slept in the bedroom with a 2nd TV in a comfy bed. Aunt slept on couch and didnt even use the pullout sofa. Sofa bed linens were conveniently provided. We only wished it had wi-fi rather than WIRED internet. Also, bathroom was stocked with only 1 roll of toilet paper so we ran out. View of ocean was also very much obstructed by the building in front & palm trees, but we were so close to the beach that there was an easy fix for that!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

While our condo is oceanview, not oceanfront, the beach access is literally steps away. Grocery stores, shops, and restaurants are within walking distance or a short drive. We are pleased your family found the condo to be graciously furnished and well-stocked with amenities. We hope to upgrade to wi-fi soon. When you want to have a "cross-country" reunion again, please think of us.

  Suzanne and Barry, THANK YOU for allowing us to vacation at your home away from home! Our 10 year old loved the bunk beds and the daily ice cream truck. The beach is literally only steps from the condo. Shopping at Destin Commons is very convenient and such a variety of shops to choose from. We enjoyed watching the fisherman bring in their catch near Harbour Walk while we ate crab legs at AJ's. The snorkeling at Destin Snorkel was a fun diversion. The condo was without a doubt impeccably cleaned and maintained. Suzanne and Barry were helpful with scheduling our trip on short notice and I would definitely stay again and have already mentioned the condo to several friends and coworkers for their vacations.

• Great Condo!

  The condo was very nice. No wasted space. Only about 3 blocks to a large portion of the public beach. The Henderson State Park was only a couple of miles west and just $6 per car for all day. The only negative things were the hard master bedroom mattress & the lack of toilet paper. The mattress issue is, of course, a personal preference making it irrelavent and since we had never rented a condo becore we didn't expect to have to buy toilet paper but it makes sense. The condo is quiet with a huge balcony & is beautifully decorated. Definitely worth the money.

  Beautiful, comfortable and clean. Short walk to beach and nice pool when you need a dip to cool off. This was our 2nd stay here and found updates on TV and new deck furniture. They have been great to work with us on our arrival time. We always feel like we have the place to ourselves. We recomend eating at Louis Louis for some great food and wonderful key lime pie!

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

  We had a wonderful family vacation at your condo. The location was perfect--a 2 minute walk to the beach for our toddler daughter. The balcony was the best place to sit and read late in the afternoon before sampling a few of the local seafood restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and are so thankful to Barry and Suzanne for sharing their little slice of coastal heaven with us for a few days!

  Had the pleasure to spend three days in Caribbean Dunes #207 and it was a very enjoyable stay. The condo was very clean and had everything you need for a beach vacation. Sitting on the balcony watching the world go by is a treat and close proximity to beach access makes this a great location. Looking forward to the prospect of staying here again in the future.

  We had a fantastic week in your condo! It was the perfect size for our family of five. Perfect 1 minute walk to the beach. It was very cozy and nicely decorated, chairs on the balcony have had it though! We still loved sitting out on the balcony eating amazing fresh shrimp:) Thank you Barry and Suzanne for a beautiful week!

  This condo was great. The area is beautiful and very close to stores, food and entertainment. The carpeting looked rather new and it was very well furnished. There is no wireless internet so bring your own box to hook up if that is important. Also, the TV in the bedroom is dated so it would be nice to have the kids hook up to a newer one for their gaming, playstaion etc. The shower/tub has a lot of mold and should be regrouted. We would stay here again as the owners are great to work with and very helpful. Thanks for making our 2012 spring break a great time.

  Owner response: Thank you for your constructive comments. While we have only owned the condo for 21 months, we are continually making improvements. In this short time, we have painted the entire condo, installed new carpet, purchased a new refrigerator and washer & dryer, added all new living room furniture (including a 40" flat screen), new bar stools, a new queen size mattress/bed, and all new bedspreads, sheets, and towels. We still have more to do on our "wish list," however!

During the summer season, there is a five night minimum stay. For week-long visits, we prefer Sunday to Sunday stays.
