  The house is fantastic. The beach is literally right off front of the house. Couldn't be more convenient. We had three generations of family with us. So, the beach access was great for the seniors & the babies. From the inside the house you can watch the family walk to & from the beach & play! It is wonderful! The huge windows in front of the house allow for beautiful views of the sun rise & sunset! We would definitely rent the Enchanted Pearl again! Thanks for a great Memorial weekend!

  Love bugs were really bad. Could not figure out how to use TV in living room. Would have liked some kind of instructions. The internet was very weak and could not use multiple or single connections. The view was absolutly beautiful. I loved being right on the beach. The restrooms were big and loved that we could use washer and dryer. The kitchen table was beautiful but a little to big to get around people. Needed more pots and pans. The rooms were spacious and everyone fit perfectly. I would rent here again.

  Owner response: We are so sorry to hear that you had problems with the TV. We try to always be available by phone to deal with any issues but did not receive any calls. We located all of the pots and pans in the drawer underneath the oven. We're sorry to hear that you were unable to find them. We hope these issues did not put a damper on your vacation and are very happy to hear you would stay here again!

  14 of us descended upon the Enchanted Pearl for a 3 day bachelor's party and couldn't have asked for a better house or location. Situated about 20 feet off the beach, this house was perfect for a semi-large group looking to have a safe and responsible time. The house was outfitted very nicely, the beds were comfy, kitchen fully stocked with cooking utensils, and the view was amazing. We had such a great time at the Enchanted Pearl that we are considering making this an annual event.

  We loved it!!! We had no difficulties getting to the house, instructions were clear. Friday night we went to a seafood restaurant on the main highway, about 5 minutes away from the house and the food was excellent. The house was clean and comfortable, just a few steps from the water. Lot's of bedding...comfortable beds! The only difficulty we had was with the coffee maker, it did not seemed to work properly. Our overall experience however was fantastic!

  This beach home rental looked even better in real than it did in photographs. The colorful walls actually proved quite pleasant inside. Great decor, and everything sang with tidiness and orderliness. It was both cheery and fun. It even smelled pleasant and welcoming. Amazing beach views throughout the whole house. Loads of light and brightness because of all the big picture windows. Super close to the beach, you can hear the waves from inside! Very spacious. There's a huge dining table that could comfortably sit about a dozen people. Great spot for a retreat. Fabulous private location -- far enough from the bustle of the seawall, but close and easy enough to drive to on a whim. So the best of both worlds. Great view. Amazing inside and out!

  Besides it being a last minute birthday surprise, it just so happened to be the spot where the love of my life proposed! I said yes! Of course I did, how could I resist with the perfect spot on Galveston Island, beautiful beach home, and the perfect place to watch a sunset.The home had plenty of items to make you feel quite at home... clean, comfy beds, dishes, and a view you just couldn't get enough of! We will definitely be back, of course we will, this is where we got engaged! Loved it. Thanks John & Diedre

  Had a small weddinf for 12. Everyone had a spexial time. Wedding was on the beach and reception in the house. So many things available. We could have not brought so much. Would love to stay again Lovely beach.

  We had a great time at the Enchanted Pearl. Very kid friendly (5 and 2 years old boys) and right on the beach. We seashell hunted daily and built a couple of sand castles as well. Home was clean and had been cleaned prior to arrival. Close to the seawall and Pleasure Pier. The owners were very easy to work with and take good care of the home. We will be staying again!

  We arrived and were stunned by the beautiful house and beach. Our first morning we got up early and watched one of the most beautiful sun rises we've ever seen. This house is about 10 minutes from town, so we were outside the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to go into town for sight seeing and some excellent sea food. Our favorite part of the vacation was that the deck upstairs had an amazing view of the beach with a gentle sea breeze....if we got hot, we simply moved under the house for some shade. We went for walks down the beach every morning and every afternoon. We took our puppy with us, she stayed outside on the deck and I think she had as much fun as we did -- she ran around for hours in the sand and ate all kinds of interesting things. There is also internet and cable tv (if you can't sleep at night and don't want to go for a night walk along the beach. Also comforting is that this property is close to the police station and the neighborhood is well patrolled -- we left most of our stuff outside on the deck (day and night) and never worried about it getting stolen. The beds and couch were comfortable, all the appliances were in working order, we couldn't have been happier and we look forward to returning.

  We had our daughter's18th birthday party at the beach in January. We had the most relaxing enjoyable time. The house was litterally right on the beach, with an incredible view from the house. The owners were very nice and helpful when answering questions. We actually rented two houses from them the same weekend. Can't wait to do it again!

KASSIOPE MANAGEMENT, LLC Re: “THE ENCHANTED PEARL” VACATION RENTAL CONTRACT Thank you for choosing “The Enchanted Pearl” for your vacation! As soon as you agree to the rental contract, rental policy and remit payment, we will be able to secure your reservation. Once payment is received in full, we will send specific directions on how to arrive at and enter our home (instructions will not be sent sooner than two weeks prior to your stay). I have READ & AGREE to ABIDE by the TERMS in the RENTAL POLICY below. The information I have furnished is accurate. I will be responsible for the ACTIONS of MYSELF, MY FAMILY & MY GUESTS. I hold John and Deidre Stephenson and Kassiope Managment, LLC harmless for any action against them for any reason. I have read the CANCELLATION & REFUND section of the VACATION RENTAL HOME POLICY. Deposit will be refunded within thirty (30) days of departure. THE ENCHANTED PEARL VACATION RENTAL HOME POLICY We rent to family groups and responsible adults over the age of 25. Designate one person in your party to be responsible for all payments and correspondence regarding your reservations. Any use of the home for purposes other than family vacations must be addressed at the time of the reservation. Any instances of disturbing the peace or incidents where the police or emergency personnel are involved may result in forfeiture of your deposit. There is absolutely no smoking allowed in our home or on the deck. Please go to the ground level outside if you wish to smoke. Be sure to properly extinguish cigarettes and place your cigarette butts in the trash can outside. OCCUPANCY RESTRICTIONS You will be expected to conform to the number of guests you previously reported will be in our home, unless arrangements are made otherwise. MAINTENANCE & EMERGENCIES If you have a problem, please call 469-323-6695 and we will have a resolution for you within 24 hours. We want you to have a trouble-free vacation. DEPARTURE TIME Check out time is promptly at 11 a.m. Any late check outs without prior permission from the owner may result in forfeiture of your deposit. Be sure to secure our home when you leave. Properly lock all doors and windows. ARRIVAL TIME Check in time is 3 p.m. Please do not arrive early as the maid service may still be there cleaning. DAMAGE TO YOUR VACATION RENTAL HOME You will be responsible for any damages to your rental home. It will be deducted from your security deposit. In the event the deposit does not cover the cost of repairs or replacement, you will pay the cost within 15 days of receipt of notice of cost. If you call for unnecessary repairs, i.e., refrigerator is not cooling or air conditioner not cooling due to overloading or over-occupying, that will come out of your security deposit. Please give enough time for proper cooling. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS We understand there can be unforeseen emergencies that could cause you to cancel your reservation. We will try to resolve the situation with you. However, please note our cancellation policy: • Twenty-one (21) days prior to date of arrival, you will receive a full refund less a $50.00 cancellation fee. • There is no refund for appliance failure, utility failure, or circumstances beyond our control. • There is no refund for rainy days or overcast skies. Refunds of security deposits are issued within 30 days of departure if you leave the house clean and undamaged like you found it. PET POLICY Pets of any kind are expressly forbidden in our rental home unless arrangements have been made otherwise. LINENS Clean sheets will be left folded on top of each bed. There are extra sheets for the futon and sleeper sofa in the closet. There are also blankets in the closet. Before you leave, please place your dirty towels in the downstairs bathroom. You will be charged for any missing linens, towels, etc. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information in this document and on the website, however, it is not guaranteed.
