San Luis Obispo boasts many activities from wind surfing and water slides at Lopez Lake to Sea Kayaking in Avila or Morro Bay, or surfing at Shell or Pismo Beach.
There are a myriad of hiking trails nearby, and of course two of the most beautiful wine tasting trails in California, San Luis Obispo's Edna Valley and Paso Robles which is just a quick drive up scenic 101. If your in the mood to gaze at historic architecture, the famous Hearst castle is just another a lovely drive up highway 1. Combine these fabulous sights and activities, with the town's lovely shopping and dining, the old mint, Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, and a fabulous old fashioned cinema, and you're in for a truly lovely and relaxing vacation.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this nicely furnished studio townhome. It was conveniently located next to French Hospital where we were visiting a new grandchild and just a short drive to downtown area. It had a comfortable queen bed and a pull out sleeper in the living area. We enjoyed the small but nicely appointed kitchen and outdoor BBQ and having a garage for the car was great. We will stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Amazing studio home. Brand new, bright and comfortable. We stayed here and used it as "home base" while we explored downtown, the local wineries and beaches. It was great to have an attached and spacious garage to store our bikes in and we had a fabulous time. The unit is somewhat close to the road, but the new construction really insulates well for both sound and heat/cold. We would definately stay here again. The owner was very kind in pointing out some local winery recommendations that were great. Have fun in SLO!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
