We loved staying at this property - everything we needed (and then some) was already stocked in the home. It is perfect for people traveling with dogs, and there is plenty of room for a big family to stay in this house without it feeling crowded. The listing is accurate, the photos reflect exactly what the home is like, it was very clean and well maintained, and the owners were very helpful throughout the booking/rental process. This property is walking distance to a lot of shopping/restaurants/etc. I would definately recommend this property, and would love to stay here again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, pet owners, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Everything in the home was splendid, the location was central to Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Bigfork, GNP, The property was very clean, we met the housekeeper and she was very friendly. The home looks exactly like the photos. The owners were very informative, friendly, coresponds via e-mail or phone promtly. I would recommend this property to friends and relatives to stay and vacation in this beautiful place. There were several places to eat but one of my favorites was the Buffalo Cafe in Whitefish. Try there steak and eggs for breakfast or the fish and chips for lunch...awesome food!!. We traveled so much in different parts of the northern region but all the places we found to eat were good. The people in the community were so friendly, and that is what makes a vacation. God created a beautiful world but he gave Montana a little extra!! Canada is a beautiful place to visit, we went to Alberta and also to Waterton national Park. If you want to see lots of wildlife go to the Bison Range , they have buffalo, mule deer, whitetail deer, elk, bear, antelopes,eagles.....we enjoyed our stay and hope to be back as soon as we can (hopefully next year) for vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We have stayed here a couple of times and are always pleased with everything The location is central to everything we do in Kalispell, the house is spotless, well maintained, well appointed. Megan is a pleasure to work with. On this trip, she left a note about the apples on the tree in the backyard telling us to have our fill, they were really tasty and a nice treat. We would get up every morning and walk to Colter's coffee for our morning fix, its close and a real coffee house (we live in Portland so I feel qualified to judge!) I would have to say that Megan has done a great job of not over selling the house, the first time that we went we were pleasantly surprised how nice the accommodations are. We have already booked the house for a trip in December, its like our home base in Kalispell.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

This home is even more beautiful than the pictures! It was perfect for our family--from age 29 to age 91!! The home was appreciated and enjoyed by all of us. Megan and Scott, your home is supplied with many unexpected supplies and ammenities that made our visit very special. Your home is very comfortable with many special features. My comment is "I'd purchase your home if it were for sale and I were able to relocate to Kalispell." The decor made us feel very @ home. We would recommend your home to others. Thank You !!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We traveled to Montana to attend a family wedding. We rented the property while vacationing there. We had a wonderful time there. We felt as though we were home while in Montana. My children had a fabulous time! In fact, my three year old didn't want to go home. He wanted us to stay in Montana! We could not have had a better experience. Thank you!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Thank-you Megan and Scott for sharing your beautiful home with our family. It was a lot roomier than the pictures showed. Seven of us were very comfortable. We loved the hardwood and tasteful decor. You did a fantastic job restoring this character home. It was immaculate and having a fenced yard for our puppy was a bonus. We look forward to staying there again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Sykes Grocery and Restaurant View on map
There's a full service restaurant and grocery. Wonderful baked pies and cinnamon rolls. We like to buy the cinnamon rolls and make cinnamon roll french toast. The grocery is very convenient and fully stocked for quickly needed necessities. This place was recently redone and is now a very clean establishment.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2003
About the owner: We've traveled extensively and always choose to stay at vacation rentals. We find we compare everywhere we stay with this house. As a result we've created an very unique experience designed to be the best value in the area. This house is hands down where we would stay if we were visiting the Flathead Valley.
Why the Owner Chose Kalispell:
It is one-of-a-kind and feels like home. It's just a great place to get together with friends and family and relax. Everyone who stays here tells us it felt like it was their home when they stayed.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Great neighborhood and neighbors. All the homes around it are very nice. The huge yard is perfect in summer and other than sleeping you can just about want to live on the back porch. Within walking distance to about anything you need. Centrally located between Glacier Park, Flathead Lake, and both ski resorts. This house is just perfectly laid out. It's got great shade, stucco siding (which keeps it cool in the summer), beautiful yard and landscaping. Our work often takes us to Kalispell and we often do work in the home office. Great place to relax as well. It's just a perfect home away from home.
