Welcome to the Centennial Cottage at St. Simons Coast Cottages. The Centennial Cottage is located just a few steps from the beach and pools.
Our home is beautifully decorated in Beach Cottage decor. Our house has recently been remodeled w/ all new appliances and furniture. The cottage sleeps 11 and has 1 King, 2 queen beds, 2 sets of bunks and a daybed.
The first floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 of the rooms have queen beds and the third has 2 sets of bunks which sleeps 4. Also, on the first floor is the washer & dryer.
The kitchen is on the 2nd floor and has white cabinets and granite countertops w/ a breakfast bar. The kitchen opens to the family room which has 12 ft ceilings. The family room has an entertainment center which has surround sound. You can plug in your I-Pod or play your favorite CDs. We have a library of books and videos for your enjoyment.
The Master bedroom is located on the top floor and has a king size bed and a spectacular view of the ocean. The sunrise from the Master bedroom is beautiful. The master Suite has it's own private balcony. The third floor has an office with a view of the ocean. The sunroom is also located on the third floor and has a daybed and a great view of the beach & pool. The sunroom is a great place for the kids to hang out with their own t.v. and Playstation.
We have a total of 5 t.v.'s at the Cottage. (family room, sunroom, and all bedrooms except for the bunk room.
The Coast Cottages have two pools, pavilion and a private beach access.

Our vacation was wonderful!! I've been coming to SSI for over 30 years and this time brought a family with us that had never been here before. They had a blast and now understand why I love this place so much!! Your house was just as described and perfect for both our families! Thanks for sharing it with us! We hope to return next spring!

This home helped make one of my best trips to St. Simons Island. The proximity to the beach was a plus -no need to drive to the beach when all you had to do is walk down the road. Not only that but the community is exceptionally nice as well. The house was not the only thing that made this a great trip, the owner was exceptional. She helped make our trip to St. Simons Island the best trip I have had in the past 4 years. There was never any problems dealing with her, and she was very accommodating. The house itself is beautiful, and houses 11 people comfortably. The main living area is what brought our vacation to the next level. This included the beautiful balconies that the house offered, for relaxing in the cool nights air. I would definitely recommend this house.
Owner response:Our favorite spot is the front covered deck on the second level. We call this our favorite room; view to the beach, 2 ceiling fans creating a relaxing breeze, comfortable furniture. What a way to relax and unwind!

The inside of the home is as advertised. However, 1. A home is in the process of being built next door - approximately 15-20 feet from this home. 2. The construction obstructs the views of the ocean. 3. The construction is noisy. 4. We were not notified of this construction prior to our arrival. 5. We contacted the owner requesting alternate accomodations or a significant price reduction due to the construction. 6. We were told that no refund or further discount would be provided.
Owner response:As noted, our cottage is as advertised and is a most wonderful vacation getaway. Unfortunately, the cottage next door sustained damage and is being repaired. This is temporary and the work crews are very mindful of the neighborhood and work only during normal business hours. All views from our cottage are still the same. Coast Cottages and especially our cottage is still the best place to stay to enjoy your stay on St. Simons Island.

We just returned from a delightful week at this Coast Cottage home--it was a great way to get our family all together. The proximity of the beach (and pools) made us able to wander back and forth without loading up cars. And each evening after dinner, we spent back at the beach, fishing poles in hand, to watch the kids try their luck. Loved the island and all it offered, however most of our meals were prepared in the well stocked kitchen, along with the grill outside.

We just recently returned from a WONDERFUL family vacation. The house was much more than I had imagined, and we had plenty of room for the whole family. The furnishings were beautiful, modern, and very clean. The proximity to the pool and beach access were great! No having to "load up the vehicle" to go to the beach for the day! We had a blast and I would reccomend this "Home away from Home" to anyone who is considering it for a family vacation! We would LOVE to return for another trip!

We had a girls weekend at this property. It was absolutely perfect. Light and airy, beautiful furnishings, close to everything. We rented bikes which was a great way to see the island.
