Why the Owner Chose Charlestown:
Charlestown, Rhode Island is approximately 96 miles from where I live in Connecticut. I can get to my vacation home in just under a two hour drive. The beaches in Rhode Island are gorgeous and everything I want to do is close by. Great shopping, R & R, and just hanging out reading and entertaining friends. Life should be a beach!

Whenever I'm in town I try to get to Jim's Dock for breakfast in Galilee. It's across the harbor from PT. Judith. I love attending Theater By the Sea, and the shops in Wakefield and Wickford and Westerly too. Narragansett has many great waterfront restaurants; Turtle Soup, the Coast Guard Station and Spain's. Don't miss an early morning walk at Trustom Pond Preserve right off Matunuck Schoolhouse Rd just passed Greenhill Beach. Great for birding.
