This property is a spacious 1,100 sq ft apartment, above garage bonus room, off the back of a timber frame home overlooking Lewis and Clark lake. The home is in the Crestview Estates Development, and is approximately 120 feet above lake level, providing great views of the lake and the woods around the house. The bonus room was built in 2010 and has a rustic décor, complete with log walls and vaulted ceilings. There is a full kitchen with bar area, table, and a slate-tiled countertop, with ample seating.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom right off the main living area has a queen size log bed and looks out toward the east, with an excellent view of the woods. The second bedroom is right off the kitchen. It is furnished with a bunk bed, with a single mattress on top and double on the bottom. There is plenty of room in this bedroom to use additional mattresses. The futon and convertible chair with ottoman in the living room will also accomodate an additional 2 to 3 guests for sleeping.
The bathroom is conveniently located next to the second bedroom and is decorated with a hunting theme. Directly across from the bathroom are the washing machine and dryer.
There is a Playstation 2 gaming system for any guests who have not worn themselves out with other activites and are looking for some late-night competition.
The bonus room includes a large deck with your own gas grill, where you can enjoy a drink and a view of the lake and woods. Wildlife can often be seen walking up to and around the house. There is a washing machine and dryer provided as well as a Playstation 2 gaming system with plenty of games.
While staying in this property, you will be within walking distance of the marina, Lewis and Clark Resort and Campground, as well as a couple of restaurants and bars. This place is great! Very clean and comfortable. Very convenient to the river and state park (and boat ramp). Kitchen well-equipped. Kids liked the video games. Great to have washer and dryer! Owners very helpful and accessible. Beautiful home and Best location in yankton for a week getaway with family. Very clean and owners were excellent to work with when I had a job situation that came up last minute. If we vacation in Yankton again we will definitely choose this home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.

What a great getaway! Our family was visiting Yankton and we needed something with more than one bedroom because we had our two young children with us. A multi room hotel in town was cost prohibited and with our youngest being an infant, cleanliness was paramount for us. We were so impressed when we checked in. The place looked brand new and spotless. The bunk beds accommodated the adults and the extra room was perfect as a mommy and me room. There was even a foldin couch in the living room! The view was breathtaking! The location was about 3 minutes from a general store and about 10 minutes from Walmart which was great because we forgot some last minute baby stuff! The only negative thing I could say was that I wish we could hve stayed longer. The owner was extremely timely and responsive with all communication and accommodated us with an early check-in. Would absolutely recommend this vacation rental. 5 stars!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We had a really nice stay at the house in Yankton. The apt. has a view that overlooks the Missouri River and is quiet and peaceful. The place has two nice, clean bedrooms and is well appointed with towels, sheets, utensils, glasses, etc. The master bedroom is very comfortable and the layout worked out really well with my husband and our 2 year old son. We very much enjoyed our week at this beautiful vacation rental. It was clean, cozy, private, quiet, with wonderful lake views. The owners were very nice. Very spacious and clean. Owners were readily available for questions. Home was equipped high chair, pack n' play and toys - all made vistit more enjoyable. We really enjoyed our week in the beautiful apartment . It has awsome views and is super cozy !! Highly recommend staying here very nice! This place is awesome! Brand new everything, very roomy, neat decor, great lake view while nestled in a woodsy area. The property is in a terrific location - close to all the lake and outdoor activities while just being off the main highway and being as close to town as possible. The interior and exterior were immaculate. The Geels are very accommodating - everything we needed was there. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. This rental was truely a wonderful place to stay! We had stayed there with a large group of girls, and there was easily space to sleep us all! There were two bedrooms, as well as convertible beds, and there was still plenty of square footage in each of the rooms as well! There was a full kitchen in the rental as well as a very nice bar with barstool area to sit at. The design of the entire rental was very rustic which gave it the cozy cabin feel while staying there! You can tell that the rental is brand new since everything is in such great shape and that it is very well maintained! The owners were also wonderful to work with and very helpful! The location of this property is truely wonderful! It has a gorgeous view of the lake, there is plenty of privacy, and you are in a prime location to walk to all of the atractions such as the marina and beach, restaurants, and Lewis and Clark Campground. I would deffinitly recommend this place to others! We truely enjoyed it and would love to come back again sometime soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
