In the spring of 2012, the house has been refreshed! The bathroom is remodeled, new paint throughout, new living room furniture and new counter tops in the kitchen give this comfy home a nice update!
This home on the lake offers large living spaces for guests to enjoy. There is a living room with windows to the lake, an oversized dining room with a lake view and a large table around which to gather for meals and games. There is a lower level family room and walk out to deck.
A new deck to the lake, and a private dock will enhance your enjoyment of the sailboat races taking place Saturdays and Sundays during the summer. You can ride your bike around our lake for a 14 mile tour of homes, lake views and wild life.
The Historic Surf Ballroom is ten blocks away. You can catch live entertainment almost every weekend at the Surf, or take a tour of the ballroom and see where Buddy Holly, JP Richardson and the Big Bopper played their last concert.
City Park in Clear Lake is home to concerts and art shows, wooden boat shows and antique car shows. There is always something fun to do in Clear Lake!

This is our second year staying in this home and it feels like home to us! The new updates are fantastic! Lynne has a real knack for decorating! Our daughter and her fiance' were here from London and they loved everything about it. They can't wait to come back and enjoy everything the house and the lake have to offer! I think we have started a new family tradition!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

I stayed here with my mother and two children for a week, and found this home to be an amazingly relaxing experience. The home is convenient to downtown and the Surf, has a wonderful lake view and adorably furnished (the pictures don't do it justice). Boat owners could easily utilize the dock that comes with this home. The owners were extremely helpful and thought of every little detail for our stay. This was our first vrbo experience and we loved it!! I would recommend this to anyone. We are considering staying in this home again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

Adorable lake home. Furnished so cute! Clean, spacious, wonderful view of the lake from several levels. Private dock. Almost everything is provided, just bring your clothes, personal items and any food you want to eat. Owners are so nice! Wish we lived in this home year-round!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: My husband, Mark and I purchased this home at the same time we bought our family home on Clear Lake. We have lived in Clear Lake 25 years, 11 years on the lake. We have three children, all in college.
Why the Owner Chose Clear Lake:
We love Clear Lake and enjoy having our extended family visit us often. When we are not using this home for our guests, we make it available for others to use when they come to Clear Lake.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This home has a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We often watch the sailboat races on the weekend from the deck. The fishing is good off the private dock of this home.
