Blueberry Hill Estates has beautiful summer gardens, and in winter the plow comes early so you can always get first tracks on the mountain. At the north end of the estate is the entrance to the Blueberry hiking trail - a locals favorite for a forest walk or a trail run. Walk 1.2 km along the paved and lighted village trail east to get to Whistler village and Whistler Golf Course clubhouse, or less than half a kilometer west to the swimming beaches at Alta Lake. Or if you have your ski boots or high heels on, for $2 you can take the #2 bus to Whistler and Creekside Villages and the gondolas.
Our property is a townhouse with it's own entrance to outside, and a covered carport so you don't have to shovel snow off the car. It has a big, tiled cloakroom for all your outdoor gear. The living space and balcony are on the main floor and take advantage of the lake and mountain views, while the bedrooms are located below and look out into the evergreen trees. The whole property was redone in 2009, with brand new kitchen and bathroom fixtures. The space works well for groups of up to six adults, and for one large or two smaller families.
The master bedroom sleeps two in a queen bed. The blue bedroom sleeps three in a queen bed with a single bunk above and the green bedroom sleeps two in single bunk beds and has a crib. The master bath has a jetted tub with shower, while the main bathroom has a large walk in shower. There is a two piece powder room in the entry area for last minute stops on the way to ski or bike. The couch in the living room converts to a queen bed.

Great Getaway, Beautiful Condo, Perfect for Group

My group of 7 friends and I stayed over at Theresa and David's condo this past weekend (3/8 - 3/10) and we expected something nice, and this condo exceeded our expectations. When the group walked in the doors, they were floored by how neatly appointed and comfortable the place was. We primarily used the space as a base camp for a day of skiing, but the comforts of this condo were enough that we were able to really enjoy ourselves in the evening over beer and cocktails and save some money by avoiding the bar scene in the village. Our group walked to the village (roughly 1km from the condo) both nights for dinner, but there was also the option to take the bus in which was a short walk up the road from the place and made the ski trip easy. Parking our two cars was not a problem, with one car in a covered spot. Overall, I loved the place. I hope to return in the future! Highly recommended!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We booked this Thanksgiving holiday in order spend some quality time with our adult children and our amazing grandchildren. This property gave us ample room to sleep, eat and enjoy each others company. The property was exceptionally clean, and to use the Dutch term, very "gezelig" (cozy). The Canadian artwork was a wonderful touch. While arranging for the use of this property, we found the owners very helpful and accommodating. Thank-you for a most wonderful experience!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time for our recent stay. The place was very accurately described and the photos were exactly true to what we got. We especially liked being able to bike to everything (beach, park, village). Theresa was very helpful. I'd highly recommend this property to my friends - and hope to book again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, pet owners, families with young children.

This condo was very clean and spacious...it had everything we needed! The heated entry was very welcoming and I found the arrangements for rental very smooth and easy! Thank you Theresa and Dave for making your home available for us our daughter and our family dog!! It was a much appreciated Whistler accommodation on short notice in mid November 2011! We had our car and found the village and all amenities easily accessible! The rate we paid was very reasonable and even included the clean-up fee! I would be very happy to stay here again in the future. Good wishes to you and yours for a happy 2012! Good wishes to all your guests Too!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Fantastic family and friend retreat. It is the second time we rent the place and we just love it. Easy to locate, free and lots of parking for everyone right at the door. We love the quietness and all the amenities that are 5 min away. Lots of windows to see the breath taking view where ever you are in the kitchen, dining table or relaxing in the living room! Modern and well decorated, the kitchen is great and have everything you need. The owners are great and very helpful. We are planning to rent again next year again!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We were in Whistler to Zip Line supporting a friend and her bucket list. I was petrified but got over it and had fun. What a treat that all of us could stay in this beautiful home with out sleeping on a pull out! The kitchen, dining living area is restful, warm and inviting. The view spectacular. Rain, Shine or Snow (we had rain) the warmth is wonderful. The facilities first class - and what a great kitchen. We had a great comfort food meal - lovely wine, and great conversation and laughs. We will be booking when the snow flies for sure! WHAT A FIND!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My friends and I spent two nights and three wonderful days at this beautiful property in November, 2009. The high end fittings, fixtures and furnture were a delight. The beautiful wood burning fireplace made the whole living area so cozy, and a great place to have a glass of wine and appies after a long day of trekking through all the shops in Whistler village during the day. The unit, with it's huge mudroom, washer and dryer on the premises, three large bedrooms and fantastic bathrooms would be fantastic for a family with young children. Every amenity you could wish for is within walking distance. I have recommended this property to my family in Eastern Canada, and their friends. The pictures don't do it justice.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My favourite girlfriends and I spent three days in the Fall 2009 at Theresa and Dave's little piece of heaven on Blueberry Hill and loved everything about it - the accommodations were spotlessly clean, cozy and comfy beds with fabulous bedding and comforters, and a kitchen stocked with everything a gourmet cook would need. The views from the windows at that time of year were spectacular - fresh wite snow glistening from the mountains and tree-tops under a bright blue sunny sky. Shopping beckoned us from this peaceful retreat and was an enjoyable scenic walk to Whistler Village to spend, spend, spend! . We are looking forward to our next get-away to celebrate our friendship in beautiful surroundings and ammenities.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: Hi, Welcome to our vacation rental property. My husband Dave and I bought our Blueberry Hills condo in 2008 to fulfill a longtime dream of having a home base in the mountains for skiing, hiking and mountain biking. Since then we have been busy growing our family, with a daughter born in 2009 and our son born in 2011. Now we are looking forward to many years of mountain sports as a family, as well as with cousins and friends. We hope you can enjoy our place too, while taking in all the sports, good restaurants, fresh air and natural beauty Whistler has to offer. Theresa
