My fiance and I stayed here for a week last summer and had such a wonderful time! We picked up a lot of groceries before arriving so that we could just cook most of our meals there- there is a refrigerator and a stove/oven. The view is great too! After a long day of hiking or white water rafting we would cook dinner and sit out on the porch looking at the mountain. Would definitely recommend for people looking to get off the beaten track while visiting Glacier National Park. It's definitely not a lodge, but that's why we loved it. Only two (very) minor issues: 1. It is isolated and can be a bit tricky to find. We drove past the mailbox and turned around when we got back to the park (less than 1/2 mile, so not really a big deal). I would recommend arriving before dark. 2. We hadn't noticed in the picture that there are two cabins very close to each other. It also wasn't too big of a deal because the other cabin only had people for 2 of the nights we were there, but we could hear them when we were in our cabin. I guess it just depends on how isolated you want to be.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

This lodge is well equipped considering its remote location and lack of modern conveniences. It is perfect for getting away from everything and enjoying the most untouched parts of Glacier National Park. It's comfortable, homely and provides a brilliant base for exploring the North-East of the park. Just don't make the two mistakes we did: Turn up before it gets dark as it is virtually invisible even when you've taken the right turn off the road (It really needs some signage), and make sure your vehicle has plenty of ground clearance as it visiting the popular parts of the parts involves a lot of driving on unsurfaced roads..Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you for your feedback! We love hearing from our guests! We have recently added more markers and even a mailbox to help make it easier for our guests to find their way. We're so happy our guests are enjoying their visits!
