  I want to thank Bill for such a wonderful place to stay, had a very good time. If and when I get back to the keys I will call and use his place again. Everyone was so nice to us, and the hot tub & pool were great. Next time I would rent for a month, so much to do & see, a week is not enough time. Thank-you again for having such a clean & nice place to stay. Carol

  We are just completing our two week stay her at LaBrisa. We found the accomdations perfect for our annual visit to Key West. The property was very clean, accurate as stated, well-maintained, and the owner was on-site for most of our stay. We rented a car for our stay, but feel that bicycles are the best transportation to downtown. We enjoyed the security of this facility, loved the pool, and spent almost everyday enjoying the wonderful sites of Key West (Southernmost Beach Bar & Cafe, Pepe's, Blue Heaven, Sloppy Joes, Mallory Square entertainment and Sunsets, sunset sails, and even a Big Ten bar for OHIO STATE sports). We would consider this location again in the future as the sunrises are spectacular as well overlooking Smathers Beach. Next year we are planning a month long stay and are looking at all options for an even longer stay in paradise.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  The condo was nice,clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with all cooking utensils and condiments. Bill was very helpful and quickly responded to all calls and e-mails. The pool area at the complex,along with the rest of the grounds, is very well taken care of, and La Brisa seems very secure.This complex seems to be occupied mostly by owners that live on site and we met several whom all seemed friendly. We really enjoyed the patio/deck off of the living room.The covered parking was a plus for the rental car ,plus some extra spaces out front( we rented scooters and a Harley while we were there). Check out the Stoned Crab restaurant while you are in Key West,along with the trip to the Dry Tortugas. We hope to stay again soon.

  If relaxation is your goal, choose another place to stay. Although the condo was clean, it was much too noisy. The balcony overlooks the ocean, and it also overlooks a busy intersection, which is quiet only between 3 and 6 a.m. Monday was fire-alarm testing day - a jet engine is quiet in comparison. The stairwells stay locked, so in the event of a fire, you would have to jump if you didn't remember your key. Tuesday through Thursday staff stayed busy with gas-powered leaf-blowers and weed-eaters, making sure there was not a leaf or weed to be found in the parking lot. Pool was nice, just hard to enjoy with all the noise. The condo is not in walking distance of Duval Street or Mallory Square - you will need a bike, scooter, or cab to get there. I'd recommend this property for the hearing-impaired.

  Owner response: I am not sure this person has ever stayed in my home. The review has obvious incorrect information. There is no intersection anywhere near my home. There is a street, maybe 80 yards away, and it is only one lane in each direction. Also the stairwells allow egress without a key. You just push on the door and it opens. The fire marshall would not allow a locked door. The fire alarms get tested once a year. Out of my control. I also clearly state my home faces Smathers Beach, on the Atlantic. No where near the down town area. Many of my reviews mention how quiet it is and how easy it is to get downtown. I suppose after ten years of renting in this complex, La Brisa, I finally had to get a negative review. Real or not. Bill, the owner

  We just spent a fun week at this great oceanfront condo. Went with another couple and had great accomodations for all of us. So nice to be away from the hustle and bustle but it's very easy to get to Mallory Point and all the tourist attractions of Key West.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We stayed July 9-16 and it was great. The condo was spacious with a great view and was within minutes of everything, but also on the south side of the island away from much of the traffic. We will definitely go back.

  The pictures dont do it justice. It was a great condo- clean - modern and very well equipped. The covered balcony was the best part. My only regret is that I didnt book a second week!

  This condo was even better than the photos. It was clean, well-maintained and well stocked with linens and kitchen utensils. The pool, hot tub, sauna and pool house were spotless and the beach is just across the street. Vendors right on the beach sell water sport activities. There is a bus stop in front of the condo complex so you can ride downtown to see the sunset celebration at Mallory Square and it's a nice walk to the other end of the beach to see the sunrise. The owner answered all of our questions with complete honesty. We highly recommend this place!

  We (my husband, daughter and I) had a great stay in Key West. The condo was everything as described and more. Would definitely book again. Didn't want to go back to the snow storms in Illinois after being in "paradise".
