The house faces the rocky coastline, backs up to the golf course and is near the north end of the runway and tie downs for easy access from your private plane.
You can spend your time gazing at the whales passing by on their way to Baja California, peeking at the exquisite life in the tidepools, watching waves crashing on the rocks, the planes landing and taking off, the golfers on the golf course and the towering King Mountain Range or you can participate in the activities available in this area called the Lost Coast.
The house was recently completely refurnished for maximum vacation enjoyment. A completely equipped gourmet kitchen, marble master bathroom with whirlpool tub and elegant beds wrap you in luxurious surroundings entertained by the ever-changing sites and sounds of nature.

The Unique Benefits of this House
While staying at our property we wander from the front of the house, gazing at the ocean, waves, whales, and migrating birds, to the back of the house, watching small planes, golfers, deer and Canadian geese. It is hard to figure out where is the best place to be gazing! And, harder still to get our chores done!

Great weather, great company and great quiet location near the ocean… But I haet the drive between Redway/Garberville to Shelter Cove.. Yuck! Carlo Love it. dined at the Cove Restaurant. Shared the funny story about Sammy (4/30/04). She didn’t think it was funny. She is Sammy’s wife! Oops!! The road from Garberville is the best! Drove over it a couple of times just for fun, and because it drove Cathy crazy! The house, companionship and the view were all great. Thanks for letting us share your retreat. Added from an email: It truly is a beautiful little slice of paradise up there and we were able to enjoy the slow pace and natural beauty of the area. While we didn't see any whales, there were some deer running around and of course the sea lions, geese (I think) and other birds were a real treat. The weather was good, with some rain on Thursday night only and a lot of wind on Friday. All in all, it was a very relaxing extended weekend and I hope to visit again in the future - perhaps for a longer stay. Thanks again, Bill
