Freshly painted interior, kitchen upgraded, terrific location. Karen is very friendly, making the arrangements with her was a pleasure. Looking forward to next years stay. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

This is my second year at Karen & Glenn's Carriage House and all I can say is...one week is not enough!! I loved it last year and after all the renovations it is all the better. Purrrrrfect get-a-way. We recently went on vacation to Block Island and we stayed at this cottage. I have to say that I can not wait to return next year and in my humble opinion that speaks volumes in how much I adored the cottage. The owners are very nice to deal with too. By the way, the photos do not do it justice. It is truly charming cottage!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.

I stumbled upon this cottage online when looking for a place to stay over Memorial Day Weekend. A group of friends and I were planning to be on Block Island to celebrate the long weekend, start of summer, and two 30th birthdays in the group. I contacted the owner immediately and she got us set up with the cottage right away. We found out shortly after booking the cottage, that it would be having some renovations made in the weeks leading up to our stay. We arrived with only the older pictures of the cottage in our mind. We were very pleasantly surprised to see how WONDERFUL the new cottage looked! Brand new kitchen, bright new paint colors, new bedding in each bedroom, new couch in the main room, etc. It was wonderful! The cottage slept 5 of us very comfortably and was a great spot for us to stay! It provided plenty of privacy and quiet, but was easy to get to and just a nice little bike ride from town and the beaches. We enjoyed our weekend in the cottage very much and are looking forward to returning soon! The owners of this property couldn't have been more wonderful throughout the process and during our stay. They took very good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed! We're glad to have new friends on Block Island!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This past weekend my friends and I rented out this great little cottage from Karen and Glen, it was AWESOME!!! We were the first group to stay there this season and it's much different from the pictures above, it has been completely renovated. Looking forward to staying here again next year!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+.
